Hi there,
I use PocketOutlook to check my e-mails via GPRS.
Everything is fine but I cannot change anything within the Settings.
For example:
- Where can I set the mail-length ??
- Where can I set the 'time-to-live' mail filter ??
- How can I download the complete mail if I want to read the rest of the text?
- Is pocketOutlook some kind of stupid programm which things its nice hide every interesting setting???
I found nearly every answer to my question in registry. But when I change the values nothing happens because P-Outlook sets everything back to default when it starts.
Why should a programmer save options to the registry when everything seems to be hard-coded?
Well well...

ps. what kind of alternative mail-programm do you use?
I did a search, but found no answers. I can receive text messages with pictures just fine, but if I try to send them, I get the "failed after several attempts" and the message just sits there with the envelope and clock icon in the upper right corner. I tried through the default messaging app, and through ChompSMS. Is anyone else having a problem sending pictures through text messages?
You need to find your carriers APN settings and enter them correctly in the phones settings:
Settings > Wireless & networks > mobile networks > Access Point Name

Thanks for replying. I'll try that. I did check the settings, and there is a default one there with no mms info. I checked my nexus one, and I don't have any apn settings at all, but mms works. Do you think if I delete the one that's there it would work by auto detecting setting? Maybe that's why my n1 works, and my DHD doesn't?
Delete ALL APN's on your DHD and then re-add them manually, then you can be 100% sure they're all correct, if it still doesn't work then contact your carrier and see what's going on.
SOLVED!
WOW! It took me six hours, but I figured it out. I tried so many things I can't even remember. Deleted all, add three at once, modified things. The end result was still no sending of MMS. My last try I reset everything back to default, and I was checking all fields, and noticed the "MMSC" field said "null". Well from looking over so many different configurations I noticed almost all of them showed the MMSC had "mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc", so out of desperation I changed "null" to that, and BOOM, it worked. I now have all things working like they should. Thanks for your help.
( glad you sorted it.

Hi,
I was using Go sms in my previous anroid build and as far as i remember there was option to disable automatic conversion 3 sms to one mms. Now i changed android build, downloaded the app and i can't find it anywhere. I know it's a stupid question, sorry for that. Could anyone help?
Thanks
Hi everyone just a quick question I wanted to know if anyone is having issues with mms that has there s4 flashed.I am able to receive but not send. When trying to send pic using stock messaging it just spins in a circle. Now it use to work following a guide from @AlpineMan a great contributor. His steps are below in a Screenshot. Iv'e also had my friend test who has a note 2 using same method and it does the same thing.I am stock rooted mk2.(4.3).Iv'e also tried using sms apps that has there own custom apn settings such as handcent and hangouts. When matching up settings same things happen unable to send.Does anyone know if any ports changed or anything changed for boost mobile mms proxy? Your help would be greatly appreciated
Were you on wifi when you tried sending? Try turning it off...ie send your MMS on 3G. I remember someone saying something changed on Boost and they couldn't send while on wifi anymore, but still works on 3G.
If it still doesn't work, try my method 2 using "8sms" messaging app. I put all the config details in the thread you took a screen shot of.

Hello,
i own an OnePlus 2 which is rooted with the Exodus ROM with android 6.0 also the xposed Framework is installed.
At the Moment I try to use two SMS apps because i like some stuff in both but they both have disadvantages.
Is there any possibility to send SMS via both apps? Because everytime I try it I have to change the default messenger app.
I also try to change the permissions of the apps but it didn't help
have a nice day

Hi, what you are hoping to do cannot be possible since the system accepts one sms app at a time, it's deeply coded and works with the sms push and the network provider. so you can't have both sms apps corresponding to the same network, system or device. the option is just not available yet. you have to choice either way.
First of all thank you steps parku for the answer.
I solved it now with a tasker profile with the secure settings extension
If you start an other sms app tasker sets it on default.
Kind regards
