Thats the best ongoiing Android project so far. It lacks developers or rather it lacks developers with sufficient time, so any help will be gladly welcome, but the Roms here too have similar bugs as the ones you stated. Hope you are able to help out.

software for website & design work on universal?

hey guys,
I am into design and website development work, and would like to get recommendations on apps that can be used on my universal to develop or maintain websites. Any of u doing this kind of work and what do u think is the best combination of apps? I don't think I can do any huge development on the device, but quick updates and image work I think is very doable, and I am now running the vga hack so I get a better screen view which should help, so what would u recommend?
thanks

[REQ] [APP] Facebook Panel for Xpreia

I have just seen Facebook Panel for Xperia, it can be useful if adapted for Diamond. Is there possibility?
News:
http://msmobiles.com/news.php/7828.html
Download Link:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/downloads/fd/36/FacebookPanel_X1.cab
BUMP
This needs to be done!
please can someone get this working on a Diamond and HD... I would be willing to make a Paypal donation and I am sure others will too...
The way Sony Ericsson is trying to fragment the windows mobile community with its exclusive 'panels' is really negative..
Do they even have the "panels" application working on the diamond yet??
i would also like to see this work on htc phones
Any SS of the application?
Theres even a facebook app for Android now, but yet again WM gets left out in the cold. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??!

BUMP for the sake of the WM community..
Well. Panels has been ported to HTC Blackstone. Its gonna be a while before it gets ported to Diamond and then we can have this Fb panel working in Diamond.
Please, more informations?
will it be possible to send online msg's in the chat window with this app?
Any news?
Has panels been ported to the HTC Touch Diamond by anyone?
Are there any members working on this at the moment?!
Would like to see the Facebook Panel ported to the HTC Touch Diamond too. I think that a Facebook Application is about the one thing that really should be on the Touch Diamond as many new phones are including a Facebook application. I'm sure it won't be too long though before someone ports it to the Diamond.
I really like the look of the one on the Xperia X1 too. It's about as good as the iPhone one in my opinion and its good that there are more and more Windows Mobiles appearing now. Surely that can only help increase the chances of someone creating an application that many people seem to want.
i believe one is in the works in the "hacking and development" thread already. new app though. not ported.
Ok, thanks, I shall check it out.

Hey i want to be a tester.
My Device: Touch HD
My Rom and others: look into my signature, its the original german rom from htc
Skills: I know the registry and can handle with it. Im also a beginning software developer for winmo (c# not vb ). If i will find a bug i would describe it so exactly how i can. File System etc. and errors i can interpretate and there isn't a problem.
A question:
Is it possible that you can change the name or publish an extra version like HD TF3D Config, hmm thats not sooooo good, or maybe just TF3D Config or what else. It's just attractions.
So i would spend my time for testing your software and in the opposite you will test maybe some programs/games from me in the future, if you want.

I know, the name is a problem. When I released the first version of my tool, only the Touch Diamond allready existed. Now there a lot of different devices (Touch Pro, Touch HD, etc.).
But on the other hand, the name of the tool is known from everyone. More than 200.000 to 300.000 users are still using my tool. If I rename my tool, noone knows that it is the same application ;-) I think the name of my tool is not the main feature of my tool ;-) So it doesn't matter how it is called.
By the way: A short comment to the video is welcome (about the new gui. if you like it or not).
i can also test it on my touch hd with on different roms. new and older manila.
I'll like to join the beta test team as well.
Device: Diamond Rom: Dutty Diam V4
I have no problems editing registry, locating manila files and minor editing them. I also have good knowledge of various graphics editing softwares.
if you still need a beta tester for the HD I will be glad to help you dude
I'm using the dutty rom v1.9 and I will flash this night with the lastest V2
And BTW, the new GUI is really awesome !!!! Nice job
edit : I'm working in a helpdesk (for airbus, as well), my skills are computer science technician since 15 years now, I'm not really good at programming (because I don't like it), my skills are network analysis, etc...
I've already helped some guys here, as beta tester, like Fingerkeyboard, WVD, the new MWC3 from Marshall that is coming and others... I've also been beta tetser for some ROM cookers and on my free time, I'm also a designer

1. The new gui is interessting but i would tell you more if im a tester
2. The fact that you will share your Touch Controls is very cool, but will it costs something? I think a bit is ok but not so much. I believe the whole high costs of software-developing "helpers" weaken the quality of software of the "new generation" of touch and so on.

First I developed those Controls just for my tool, but then I saw that those controls will give developers new possibilties to create new cool finger-frindly application for windows mobile, because there are still just a few apps which are finger-frindly. The price for the controls stands on the website, and I think the price is fair. Because developers will get updates (incl. new controls), bugfixes and support by e-mail and mirabyte-forum. This is very important for developers.

Ok i dont discuss when i dont know the product.
I will wait for the demo and then i will look whether i do need it or not.
But a question, is it very difficult to develop the screenslide effect? (i mean if key down -> touch move -> list will move in this direction)
edit:
developers will get updates (incl. new controls)

[Q] G-Trigger like Software for Android?

Dear Guy!
After Leo can experience a lot of Andriod builds, I tried to find some useful softwares like on WM.
A lot of Android software do much better than WM, however, I miss some software like G-Trigger on WM.
The information of software is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=494267
and
http://g-trigger.kneps.com/
Does any one know the other software that can do a incredible thing like this?
It is my 1st priority software that I have to install every times I flashed my WM phone.
Please suggest me, if you know which software can do.
Thanks in advance.
Noone know or nothing about it?
Search for "Tasker" in Market. It has the ability to do "Tasks" for Gestures. Never tried it for that particular feature though.

Android on Htc Imagio

Hi XDA developers want to know if is possible Android in HTC Imagio? I read in the forum and other websites that this is possible, but the project was canceled, I wonder why the project canceled Android on HTC Imagio XDA Developers? I listened that you can use the rom HTC Blackstone or rom HTC Topaz to get an android for the were htc Imagio
can anyone help?
Yes, its possible but someone has to get it working.
I was working on the problem for a while but I just don't have the time anymore. We got the kernel booting but there was some issue with the mmc module that crashed us every time. It might work if someone figures out what was happening there.
Hints for developers: You need monodie settings for the kernel to boot. This is why the Topaz settings work while none others do.
waiting for your new pack
