[Q] Blank Screen after mytouch Splash screen - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Hello,
Maybe I'm missing it, but I can't seem to find a way to fix my daughters phone. When she turns it on, it goes pass the splash screen and then the phone will just stay at a blank screen. Can someone point me in the right area or show my a step by step to fix this.
Thank You

OK I figured it out..... I had a idea it was this. Some how her ROM got corrupt, so what I did was just re flashed it. I was having issues with the RUU seeing the phone, so you have to make show you have all the updating drivers, before you try to re flash or it will not see your phone and keep giving you errors.
Now I am at my last step, but she does not have internet, so I can't bypass this google activation. I even tried the 4 corners trick, but no luck.

Help needed to fix rooting gone wrong

First off im sorry im adding another rooting post to these boards.
So i decided to root my 32B magic today copyed the recovery.img over and update file from the rooting wiki, loaded recovery mode then updated, but now my phone when turned on loads to the vodafone screen and freezes id left it for afew hrs but still no luck.
Here is what i know so far:
I am able to get to fastboot and fastboot usb
I cant however get to recovery mode by pressing menu+power
I can get to the recovery mode using the sdk\tools
my problem is that im sure the fix is relativly simple i.e. load some files onto sd and start again, but the problem is that i have no other way to load the files onto the sd card than through the phone and my knowledge of adb isnt that great although has improved greatly today lol.
Im not sure how correct i am on this, but would it be a possible fix to load say a rom update.zip onto the sd card and load that through recovery mode to bring it up? If that would fix it could i possible get help on the adb code needed to pass the file from computer to the phone through fastboot usb or recovery.
Thank you very much for your help
Ok i think i have figured how to push files to my sd card however whenever i try it come up saying Failed ( remote:signature verify fail)
ok well i managed to move Cyanogen's newest rom over and update to that but its still hanging up at the vodafone screen upon booting, im lost for ideas.
Please any help how ever small would be amazing right now.
please help is desperatly needed.
i am having the same issue.... and it seems NO ONE has a bloody answer to why it is failing

take out your battery and after a few seconds put it back in, before it powers up go into fastboot(back+power) and that should do it
I still have a pretty red splash screen and stucked.

I have same problem, but your solution didn't work for me.
I did as follows.
#1. typed following command in terminal.(well, I'm using Mac)
Code:
fastboot-mac flash recovery recovery-RAv1.2.0G.img
#2. pulled battery off from phone.
#3. pluged USB cable to phone and also Mac.
#4. pressed (ENTER) in the terminal, then fastboot-mac said '< waiting for device >'.
#5. put the battery in while pressing (back)+(power)
#6. then, pretty red vodafone splash screen come up.
#7. In the terminal, it still said '< waiting for device >'. Nothing was changed.
#8. On the phone, pretty red splash screen was still there. Nothing was changed.
Those are all I have done many times for last 2 days.
But, it didn't work.
Please let me know if there is something I missed.
I tried and stuck in the exactly same problem as [robotician]. I have MT3G.

THe red vodafone should not come up. You have to hold the back key longer perhaps, because it's supposed to go into the fastboot screen with all sorts of text and three androids on skateboards at the bottom.
@Niaski
was your rom made for the 32B or the 32A?
They are very diferent phones and mixing the roms causes the issue you are seeing.

Need help. Communicating with server error.

Hey guys, I need help.
Let me explain as much as I can.
I bought a Droid X, it was rooted. When verizon factory reset it, it must have messed something up because now everytime I turn the phone on, it just stops at the backup assistant screen and says "Communicating with server". I cannot get past it. Its weird, because the camera will work, and even when the "communicating with server" goes away its just a black screen, but you can still see and use the status bar. Im so lost. I have done soft/hard resets, nothing works.
Is there any way I could load a rom onto the SD card via my computer, then boot it when I get into recovery mode? The only thing I've found online was I'd need to download a rom from an app I get from the market. Is there a way to install a from without doing that since I absolutely cannot get to the market?
Any help or suggestions would help. Any little thing you can think of would help. Thanks
Google search how to sbf. That should be all you need to do

[Q] GT-i9505 works but screen is black, no splash

Hi people. I have been running a rooted phone for a while and decided to go back to unrooted recently. I decided I would like to use the barclays app and apply the new updates that samsung rolled out recently. However when I flashed the stock firmware I found that the screen no longer worked. The phone seemed to boot up and play the samsung startup jingle but no splash logo. just a black screen. To test I decided to call it and the call came through ok and answered with the home button, speech all functional???!! Just no screen ... completely black??? Would this likely be a fault with the firmware or is it just uncanny timing with a faulty screen??? confused and wondered if anyone else has come across this before I go but a new screen. I downloaded the firmware from hotfile "I9505XXUDMH8_I9505OXXDMHA_I9505XXUDMH8_HOME"
thanks in advance

i would say to stay away from new firmwares at this time....you are stuck in the locked bootloader.
can you boot in recovery or odin modes and see the screen?
wipe data and cache and reflash the MH8 then do the wipe. see if that works
can not determine if it is a HW or SW issue.
if you want to use app that doesnt require root like Barcley and you are rooted, you can hide the root with some available app.
It seems I am able to get the device into download mode, although nothing comes on the screen. I just have to do the procedure blind. No matter what I do nothing comes up. It also seems I can only get the phone to read the internal memory through USB once a flash procedure has completed. It seems to force a boot up but when I try to restart manually it does nothing but vibrate and only seems to be able to put into download mode while blind. I find it very unusual that the screen should suddenly stop working the moment I try and flash the standard firmware. Getting worried now. nothing seems to work
Can anyone help here??? I have tried flashing several times. Just vibrates and does nothing. I can get it into download mode but I don't get any warning screen up. I just go through the button combo's blind and it manages to get into communication with a odin com port. I have tried doing a PIT download. What I was then finding is that the phone can bring up a recovery screen with option to reset, I reset but the phone will just be a black screen and play the samsung start jingle without the splash screen. It then seems to boot and receive notifications with a totally black screen. completely unresponsive.
If you can't see a splash screen or even recovery and download mode screens, then I'd say its a hw issue and no ROM is going to fix it, because those mentioned things are not even tied to the ROM.
Your screen has broken some how, it could be as simple as a flexi connector falling out or as bad as your screen being totally gone.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
It doesn't look like hardware problem
i am facing exactly similar situation with a 9505, i tested LCD with another of my 9505, and LCD is ok
is just happened after an Odin flash of stock firmware.

Urgent help for recovering a Note 3

Hi,
I've totally buggered my Note 3.
The only stage I can boot into something very similar to the attached photo.
I tried installing philz_touch_6.12.8-i9500.tar.md5 using Odin but when it reboots it just hangs at the boot logo screen.
TBH, I'm probably making it worse because it did have TWRP (see link below) but it coudln't install any ROM whatsoever, it just kept rebooting to the logo screen after a few seconds.
This all began when I followed this chap to letter but obviously didn't work out as expected:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i6DsGKTsJc
Would someone please point me in the right direction on how to bring my phone back to life or let me know if you can tell it's permanently screwed.
Thanks very much and really hope (pray!) you can help.
Just to say, I have sorted it.
Used the stock ROM via ODIN3.
Case closed.

HTC one M9+ unable to flash or unlock

Hello everyone,
Long time reader for time poster. I have this device that is stumping me, and I was hoping with your help I can get to the bottom of its issue.
i am not going to describe everything that I had done as that would take pages and pages, but there is one aspect that I feel might be the crux of the problem so I will start with that and see if it leads us anywhere.
Basically this device was working, sat in a drawer for a while, the battery dried up, and since it wasn't able to boot into android, it always gets stuck at the htc logo screen.
I have tried flashing it using the sd card method, with the newest corresponding zip that I could find, it started doing its thing, then at some point restarted, got stuck again, and I ended up with an unknown radio and dsp (looking at the infos in download/recovery modes)
I don't know the history of the device, but i don't believe usb debugging or oem unlocking were turned on. and obviously I can't check or modify them as I can't get into the device. and it is currently locked and S ON.
Currently, I can boot into recovery/download no problem:
- I can easily detect and interact with the phone through fastboot, but not through adb.
- clearing cache and factory resetting go through fine, no errors, but again after restarting the device it gets stuck at the htc logo.
- if I try to flash through the SD card, it starts normally, then restarts and gets stuck at the htc logo.
- if I try to flash anything through fastboot, I get an error telling me the device is still locked, which it is.
- if I try unlocking using fastboot (following the official htc method), once again it starts normally, but then restarts and gets stuck at the htc logo again.
Correct me if I am wrong, but it feels to me like this is a software issue, that for the hell of me I can't seem to be able to get around.
I tried to keep the post simple, so if any additional information is needed, or tests you'd want me to run please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for your help, much appreciated!
Hello again, just a little bump. As I am stuck and any ideas would help.
