My att dell streak will not see purple color when point at purple it became blue. I did anyone experience same problem?

I don't have my own Streak yet. However, I can tell you that purple is a notoriously difficult color for digital cameras, displays, and printers of all types to render properly. You might try playing around with the white balance settings on the Streak to see if that helps.
Mine works fine, maybe you have a hardware problem, try another camera app such add camera fx or 360 to make sure its not a software glitch...
Here's one I just took, sorry about the poor light levels.

So I got my transformer Monday and its great, however there is one very minor issue. If the screen is black and you tilt the pad at an angle, you can see what looks to be some kind of smudge or adhesive on the LCD panel under the glass. Like I said, this is very minor and you really need to be looking for it to even see it. I bought the transformer from best buy. With all the other issues, ie speakers and dead pixels and what not, do you guys even think its worth taking back and trying to get a replacement?

What a nice combination of keystrokes
(Yes, I am aware of the 10 char requirement)
just being stupidly funny.

Hmm, this post is very helpful.. lol Good thing its relevent to the thread.
I have never seen the smudge you are talking about, can you take a picture of it?
Heh, but seriously, if it were me yes I'd swap it for a new one, just knowing it's there would annoy me.
I ended up swapping it. No dead/glue spot but there is light leaking from the corners on the left side and also from about half way down the left side as well. It isn't in my main viewing area so its not a big deal, and my favorite background is white so I don't really notice it, but is QC really that bad on these that this many units have issues still to this day?

Light Bleed is a common issue with tablets. Google "ipad light bleed" and you will get some interesting posts.
Also, aren't IPS displays known for a little light bleed anyways? Something that we have to live with, I guess.
I can deal with light bleed alot easier than a dead spot on my screen. Its easy enough to fix with a white based wallpaper. And luckily my favorite wallpaper is white based.

So has anyone else LED turned blue? Mine is really, really blue.

Iirc the n1 has a teal blue led as well as a dark blue one. What seems to be the issue?
sent from the passengers side of my best friend's ride tryna holla at you.
Its the camera flash LED. It used to be pure white. The one day I noticed it had turned blue. Pictures taken with the flash on a blue washed if you will. That's the only minor issue. It doesn't bother me much. Just curious to see if anyone else's had done the same.

oohhh the camera flash LED i though you were talking about the led ball on the front side of the phone haha.
so when the flash activates for a picture, instead of flashing white it flashes a blue-ish light now? i havent experienced that issue personally myself, sorry
Yeah it flashes blue and in a darkish area when taking pictures it causes the pictures to come out bluish. Like I said, just curious if I'm the only one or if it is something others are experiencing. Doesn't bother me too much.

My Desire is the same now. I blame it on me using the flashlight on Death ray mode too often. I assume its half burned out.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
Lol! That makes sense I do the same.

Rarely use it as a flashlight; instead I use a bright screen via 'Color Flashlight' app. Mine is still white.

Well I found it hard not to use it since it is better than any flashlight I have owned and didn't drain the battery much for the amount I was using it. Better than worrying if your flashlight battery is going to die (no gauge on them)

Abuse the led and it will start dying, big surprise. I suspect walmart has better flashlights than the N1's led, but any decent flashlight will kill it on both flexibility (low to full output), battery life, and of course output.
Look up Fenix. Cheap, work well. Get a 10 pack of 123 batteries online for $15 and it'll last you 5 years or more.
I find the camera always worked better in well lit areas without use of the flash anyways so I don't blame the phone for the led burning out and it doesn't bother me that much. At least it still works.

Lol yeah same here. I got me a surefire 1000 lumen led flashlight now. Brighter than anything I've ever seen. But the blue led looks cool on my Nexus lol.

After using it for a while and after the LED gets hot, its color will distort. It is a problem with the bulb itself and not any other hardware, such as the plastic piece that covers it. It is a result of age; therefore, there is no way to 'fix' the issue other than just to finally upgrade to a new device or replace the bulb if even possible.
I use my LED flash as a flashlight at max brightness and mine still is not blue yet, wonder why mines seems to be more durable...
Have a look at the top of the screenshot of the calculator app, the colour is weird, is this considered normal?
Yeh. This is color banding issue. I got the same thing in the calculator app. Unfortunately currently there's no way to fix this

I had a similar color issue when composing email in Gmail app but it was from lower half of the screen, so it shows when screen is totally white. Was very clear in ICS rather than GB.
Sent it for repairs and after changing the back board, it disappeared in GB and visible in ICS but reduced a lot strangely. Apparently its a common issue in note and sgs2.
So i would say its both hardware and software issue.

Same issue in my galaxy note.at many places this kind of color fading which is after updating to ICS firmware.I am from india.i wish xda developers to inform the issue related to color fading in NOTE to samsung authorities stating issues in ICS firmware.

Its funny, ok let me explain, some images have this some not, this means its not necessary a screen issue, but more the way the image is displayed. Coulx be driver, dunno.
I like to compare it to tv.
Old tv was lower resolution. Picture looked ok. Watch same picture on full HDTV it looks like crap.
The same counts for movies etc.
Samsungs GB wasnt build for this notes beautiful screen

Hey guys so I got my nexus 4 about a week and a half ago and there are some things I love and hate. The screen is what's really getting to me. It has a yellowish tint and the viewing angles are pretty awful. Is this a software or hardware issue? I've heard some kernel updates fix it but I can't find it. I just find the screen not as sharp as it should be. I'm coming from an HTC one x and that display was just absolutely gorgeous. Any help would be appreciated

I know some phones have a yellowish tint until the glue dries. Iphones have had this issue but I am not sure about the N4.

If you are rooted, you might want to give this a try:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2035672
If you are not rooted, I believe there is another app, but it just puts an overlay on the screen. So, some have been running into issues with that.
I've been running Franco's app, and I have to say I am very pleased with it.
there's already a thread for this, you should find some answers there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1990276
Does anyone else have this? I've noticed this only happens when I take solid color pictures. This is my room wall you can notice a green tint. (its in the center)
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I have the same issue. It is not much of a problem though, most cameras behave strangely pointed to a solid bright color.
I'm having this problem as well. It looks more like a sepia look to me around the focused part of image.. Your picture looks same as mine. My pictures before did not look like this. Did you ever find a fix for this or cause?

Just wanted to bump this thread.
My photos end up with a reddish hue in the center of the photo. I've been trying to figure out how to describe this/see if other people have similiar issues. I am not sure if I can get Google to replace if it is a sensor issue or not?
Crappy sort of out of focus photo of hue:
