so true
download appmonster and it will tell which apps are protected or not
btw this should be in q&a thread not here

I've moved this thread to general.

Please note this is in the sticky - where it says to read before asking.

It was added after I posted this. Whatever the case, I still don't see the apps I am looking for but whatever. I'll figure it out eventually.

^ Actually, it's been there for a Very long time, as I put it there.

Camera and force stops with the sports option

Not sure what happened to my last thread, but I was given really detailed info on how to fix my camera and it was gone before I had the time to take advantage of it Nothing like wasting the time of those willing to help you. Hopefully I just couldn't find it, but I checked my subscribed threads and nothing was there.
If you have recovery installed, you can install one of the kernels in the development forum. They have the camera fixes built in.

I don't know squat about any of this, which is why I didn't just use the instructions people had already given in other threads. They use terminology I don't understand and assume you know what they are talking about when they say use this kernel or that one (or whatever). I just checked and somehow I'm not subscribed to this thread as well. Maybe the other one is still here... I have never been on a forum where you weren't automatically subscribed to your own threads.
Ah.. well I found your thread lol. I'm using xda app so don't know if it'll link right, if not just copy and paste.

In the future you might notice as you are actually typing the subject out it will auto-guess other topics that are similar to yours. Additionally, you might spend more than 5 seconds looking at the general section
also if it helps there's a bug thread here http://code.google.com/p/android/is...rd&colspec=ID Type Status Owner Summary Stars for sdcard issues being read only etc.

The main thing it's done for mine is just made it far smoother and less lag ridden. Couldn't really give a crap about new features, it's just better at what it was already good at.

In simple words
The apps which are not meant to be used by good people are cracked apps

Now days spammers are trying to gain access to devices through these cracked apps. so its better to be as far away from cracked apps as possible.
Want to use those great apps without using cracked versions
* Install free versions of those paid apps from Google Play Store (most of them have a free version)
* Search for a free alternative of the app (You can easily find alternatives to paid apps, sometimes free apps are even better than paid )

Indeed, I thought someone had cracked my app and when I looked into it, it wanted 'start at boot' permissions and a heap of other ones that aren't correct.
given the filesize, my guess is that it's not even my app.

I know this thread is very old, but wondering how the rules on XDA affect a user using a cracked app and then asking support on XDA or even blaming the dev for the wrong-doing of those cracked and messed up apps?
Asking because I've seen a couple of users with such issues.

It is against xda rules to promote or ask for any support with warez
This includes how to - where to get - how it works - why doesn't it work

Sell your atrix thread

<Mod Edit>
I posted this in the wrong section, and am sorry.
</Mod Edit>
I thought this kind of thing should go in the market section.
Market section? Not familiar with it.
Last I checked they went for about 160 on amazon. Try selling it there?

That link doesn't work. At least on the app. @soldier xda frowns upon posting for sale items anywhere except marketplace.

Yeah, apparently tapatalk/xda-app is not smart enough to realize it's a subforum/section.
Works fine on the computer.

Correct I have seen threads like this closed by mods who directed the op to use the market place instead.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
This is not the proper place for this... XDA has a market place, and you can sell your device there, if you meet the requirements.
