ADW Laucher - XPERIA X10 General

Hey I have root R2024
in the R2020 root in the ADW launcher settings there was a setting to set the actions when you swipe up or down on the home screen.
In the R2024 I couldnt find that setting, just wanted to know is it possible to update the launcher. Or should I just update to R2026

[Q] S4 Not remembering default launcher on start or SU binary

Hello! On my S4 i337, It does not remember the default launcher on startup and is beginning to inconvenience me. Any ideas on how to make it remember that choice?
P.S. When I restart it, I need to update the SU binary every time. This is also getting annoying.

Same problem for default launcher never remembered on S4. (TSF Shell). No problem for SU.
EDIT: For me this is a firmware bug. Any MEA stock or MF3 based firmware solve this bug. Any <MEA firmware have the default launcher not remembered bug.

What root procedure did you use? Also, what launcher are we talking about? As far as the launcher, clear the cache for the launcher in application, in settings, it should clear problem the launcher.
It should after that ask to make it the default, if not, snag apex or nova from market and install, it will ask them, choose TW as the default.

Remove notification panel

Is there anyway to do this? I'm rooted by the way and am stock
I flashed a google edition rom for a bit and installed "notification toggle" and it prompted me that since I was rooted I could use some sort of app move modifier program to make it stay on the notification panel permanently, basically this is what I want to do with the stock samsung 4.2.2 and have it replace the samsung notification panel, but the app doesn't give me the prompt that says I can use root access

I'm confused, how are you stock if you've flashed the Google edition ROM? And try and post some screenshots!

Go to setting, developers options and check to see if you have access to su from there.

I don't see anything super user related
And what I did I could on GE Rom, namely have "notification toggle" moved to notification/part of the system (I used /system/app mover) to be a system app. When I opened the app, it told me I could do this since I was rooted (there was no samsung notification panel to over write), but when I open it on the stock firmware, it says nothing of it and I am rooted.
Basically I'd just like to get rid of the samsung notification panel since it doesnt have everything I want and would rather use Notification toggle
You do realize you can edit the toggles on the notification panel right? I used the notification toggles app on my Evo LTE and it is crap compared to the stock notification panel. If you want to mix things up a little, try installing the xposed framework and installing Nottach or Wanam modules and you can change colors, transparency, and number of toggles displayed.

[Q] Hide apps in drawer is removed after updating to 4.4.2 (KitKat)

I really love the TouchWiz launcher. But i miss to hide my apps in drawer. Is there a way to get 4.3 launcher to 4.4.2, or a mod that can fix it for me?
I've tried the 4.3 launcher with 4.4.2 but it gives FC
yep. that was what I first noticed with the update. try putting them into folders.
cheers ~
This really isn't good enough! WTF is Samsung thinking? There should be no reason for removing this functionality? It seems to also be something built within the firmware; it is not launcher related in otherwords, I found this out because when I was running Android 4.3 I had flashed an update to run the S5 launcher and icons theme. When I did this I was still able to hit the menu button and select apps that I wanted to hide. Since upgrading to Kitkat I noticed as you did that I was no longer able to do this, that was ok I just thought to myself "No problem I will just flash the launcher upgrade and theme for S5 on my S3 as I did before and that should allow me to unlock this functionality" NOT CAN DO! Both the stock Kitkat launcher and the S5 theme upgrade do not unlock this functionality unfortunately Someone is going to have to find out where the issue lies and try to port it back? If I find the answer I will make sure I post back here with a fix.

Download the s5 launcher from one of our threads. Flash it. And you have the hidr feature again.
Or just install a 3rd part touchwiz launcher themed app..you have that function
Mi launcher..nova..apex..go...any if these launchers do provide this function
Press Thanks if I helped

Using lmt 2.6, all works well here.
Which phone and which SuperSU version are you using? Only recent apps works which seems like a root issue to me
Other root apps working fine though

Swipe up for App Drawer....

If there anyway to get this feature on Android 7 Touchwiz? I don't want to use a 3rd party launcher and I've tried installing S8 touchwiz Launcher with no luck. I'm not rooted and don't want to be on this device. Is there anyway to get swipe up for app drawer?
Many thanks peeps.
try this version here I had to use this one in order for it install https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/touchwiz-home/touchwiz-home-6-0-77-release/
If that one doesn't install then you're going to have to root and manually install it.
