Removing Branding splash screen

Hi
Is there anyway of removing the splash screen you get when you switch the device on, the touch diamond I have is vodafone branded, it has a horrible red vodafone splash screen for a bout 20 secs.
I am using the SWIFTBL WWE DIAMOND ROM V6.0 on my device.
Sorry if it has already been asked, I did search a few times but I could not find it.

If the red part in the bottom won't go away, I suggest flashing a shipped ROM from HTC, which makes the bottom part black.

Universal Random Freezing & White Screen????

First I want to say thanks to all users of this forum. Forum is just like PDA BROTHERHOOD everbody can find everything on this site about PDA's...
My Problem is randomly freezing and white screen... Sometimes it first freezes after that starting to be white screen... I tried many rom but the result is same. Can it be hardware problem or something else... Thanks (and sorry about my english )

Freeze - Because of Soft- or Hardware?

Hey guys,
i've got a problem with my HTC it freeze like it is described here:

Means when I turn off the Display with the Powerbutton and try to turn it on sometimes it doesn't do anything, even if the green LED ist blinking. The only way to turn it on is to take the battery out and put it in again and restart the phone.
Now i wanna know whether it's the hardware or the software.
I'm using Onyx WM 6.1 and 6.5 both have the same problem.

taking into account that there are a lot of user for onyx roms and no one has this problem, and u have the same problem with 2 different builds... i'll bet for the hardware, dont u think?

Hi. Sorry for my bad english. I hope you understand me .
I have problem with my HTC Touch HDs display.
If I use GPS, Wifi, charge or I use it longer time, there are a yellow and blue colors in place of grey. What's wrong?? 20min later, HTC is OK. :-/ I haven't guarantee.

are you using a custom rom or a stock one
did the problem occur after a program was installed?

Yes, when did this start happening. What did you change? Did you recently flash new rom?

I have original ROM, I use original hardware...It happened suddenly. Telephone just layed on the table and when I looked at it, it was there.
I tried hart reset, it was unsuccessfull.

Help Devs? touch screen SOFTWARE problem

Sudently my touch screen stop working?
I'd read lots of topics about it but i beleived mine is different?
I was under android when it occur.
My touch screen stop working except a small area in the middle of the screen.
It's look like the calibration was done for this small part of the screen.
I've tried to do a reset => same thing
I've re-install the ROM => the touch screen works for a couple of minutes and then stop except the same small part ???
If i reboot it direcly goes to the small part.
I flash a Signed Ship Rom from my provider it's do the same things? work a couple of minutes on the first boot, and after only the small area ...
if someone got an idea ?

You can workarround by hard pressing in circles over the red button.
It seems that the digitalizer is under that button.
I have test this workarround and works for me.
anyway if you hd2 is in garantee, send it to HTC.

sounds like a fault on the handset which needs to go back to htc to fix

If it's a hardware problem, how do you explain it work fine when instaling a new rom ?
every times it does the same!
First boot work fine for a couple of minutes and block after ! the next boot direcly have the problem.
It's look like a wrong calibration/setup of the digitalizer!!!

? i've done a task 29 . trying to erase parameters that may be setup somewhere in memory.
but still the same !
I don't know how to use MTTY? it's seens to be more powerfull (destructive ) than the task 29 ?
can it be the solution?

I actually had the same thing happen to me... mine was still under warranty so i flashed the original program back to the phone and had them send me a different one... talk about a moment of panic
