Anyone successfully do this? I enabled GPS in the camera settings, after a few seconds I get a little pop-up that says the camera found the GPS location, but no location data is saved on the file. I uploaded it in Picasa and there is no info there and I also looked in the properties of the file on my computer.
Maybe I'm getting a GPS lock but its not accurate enough for the camera to save it onto the picture? Anyone else get it to work?

I just noticed that I can't save any photos, but videos recorded with camera works just fine.
I copied all my photos to my computer and deleted all photos from storage card but still no luck. In camera settings storage card is selected and same thing in advanced config. I also uninstalled advanced config to see if there was some conflict but that didn't help either.
I also tried to search photos that i took with Resco Explorer but it seems that photos just aren't saved in anywhere.
Camera program works just fine to the point when picture is taken but after that there is this "multicolor waiting circle" which tells you that WinMo is doing something and the phone freezes about 30 second until it comes back to camera application, but nothing has actually been saved.
I know that Hard reset might fix the problem, but that's the last solution I wanna try.
photo's should be saved where the default Album location is set to, try changing that to the Device\My docs folder..?

They're all in default settings:
Save Location: DCIM
Encode Photos in portrait mode: Yes
Capture Key Delay: Enabled
Key Delay : Enabled
Capture Key Delay Time: 1500
Help anybody?
Just noticed that every other picturemode works just fine, but normal photo mode freezes the device
Well, i had the same problem an i thought it was a problem with the rom update or something like that. But the problem was: i had a DCIM map on my storage card. Strange, because this is the good location but no photo's was saved in here (only on the device self if i had select it). I deleted the map and tried it again to make a picture. And that was the solution. The camera made a new DCIM map and now the pictures are saved on the storage card again.
Camera save problem solved
to avoid problems in saving new photo you have to have this directory structure:
soragecard/DCIM/100MEDIA
open the card with a PC
delete the album file (it is like the thumb db on windows) to see the file you have to set show hidden file
insert the card in the phone and you are ok
byez
unable to save photos
In my case I'm not able to save at all, regardless of what resolution I'm using! Any idea on how to solve it?
sorry to push this old thread,
but now that my touch hd finally arrived i had the same problem, saving the image is not possible, the wait cursor appears, after some minutes disappears and the image wasn't saved.
now i found the malefactor: in schaps advanced config under camera you should change the "encode pictures in landscape (90°)" option. default was set to "NO", so leave it or change it back to it.
i hope this is useful!
I have a HTC P4000 (Telus).
I just noticed that my when I switch to my panarama setting in the camera it says I have 0 pics left or disk full when I try to take a pic. I have plenty of room on my device and on my sdcard. But still the error.
Is there a folder I am missing? something that should be in the my pictures folder?
I am running stock REVa rom.
Still would like this to work.
anybody have the the stock registry settings for the panarama camera? is it P4?
and what settings are under that
I don't see anyone else complaining, but my Tattoo doesn't geotag photos. The option is turned on, GPS is turned on, I see the animated icon in the left corner of the camera window that it is searching for position nad then locking the position.
I take the photo and nothing. It says 0 for longitude and latitude in exif and in the picture properties.
Oh, don't worry...I've seen a couple of threads in the past complaining about this! Another thing to add to the list of issues with this handset. Geotagging only seems to work via the Footprints app.

Yes, it is some kind of getagging, but not what I was hoping for (can't set resolution and quality) but I realized that the pictures it takes are crappy anyway so it isn't something I regret too much
It seems that Tattoo Camera is actually geotagging the photos, but the picture viewer is not showing GPS details. Copy the picture to a computer and try some tool to read exif data and you can see the coordinates

Well, that was the first thing I tried but I couldn't find any GPS information in EXIF??
I am getting the GPS coordinates fromy my computer, but not directly through file properties in windows.. download exiftool (search google, forum is not allowing me to post link). You can drag and drop the image file on exiftool to see the embedded data.

Yes you are right, indeed it shows coordinates with that tool. Thanks.
Hi All,
I've got an interesting problem and I haven't found any hints elsewhere on this site or the interwebs. I have an HTC HD2 and I used the registry mod to enable GPS photos. Latest English ROM and no major mods other than Cookie's Home Tabs (which is awesome). I can take GPS pictures, show them on the map on the phone and upload them to Facebook.
The issue is, I can't find the GPS pictures anywhere on the storage device. All my photos go to /Storage Card/DCIM/Media100, but there are no GPS photos in there.
When I look at my Photo Albums on the native photo viewer, I have two Albums both named Media100. In one of these albums I have all my regular images, the same that show up in the folder listed above. In the other folder, I have all my GPS photos which I can handily view in the album (so I know they're still here somewhere).
If I search the storage card while on ActiveSync, I can find all the GPS photos that I'm searching for, but I can't access them to copy them onto my laptop.
This is a perplexing problem. It looks like somehow I have a memory naming issue and I don't know how to sort it out and I don't want to lose all my pictures. My last resort will be to go through and select each one and email it to myself, but that will take some time.
Any ideas out there?
Dan
So for a few days now I've been using the wireless storage function on my G2 to transfer pictures over to my computer. It's usually around 150-200 photos. I use I.E. to browse my wireless storage files, however, there is always one picture missing within the folder, but I can still see the picture on my phone. And I'm not talking about after I transfer my photos over to my computer, I'm talking about inside the network drive (\\192.168.0.XX). I'll attach a few pictures so you can better understand. I've tried to Google the problem, but I've had no success. . This is not a huge problem, it's just annoying when I need to have all of the pictures for sure and then I have to do a man hunt to find out which one is gone. Thanks, all help is much appreciated.
Is it really missing or just miscalculate?
Next time, try to transfer 10 images and see if one missing or not.

Nothing is being transferred. Like I said, it's in the G2 network drive where the photo is missing. Look in the photo I uploaded that's showing the 265 photos being selected, nothing was transferred prior to that screen-grab
EDIT - Also notice the network map in the first photo (\\192.168.0.10\g2\sdcard0\DCIM\100LGDSC)
