i'm using core/music/starticonloader from this packages, others from 3.04 and cht1.8.5.
core - seems to work fine (ugly internet icon - replace 2b1c2bb3_manila/04abcd12_manila/4fca8b48_manila), colored music and people tab icons
home - 4x4 icons +other changes (cht1.8.5-incompatible)
people- call-history freeze (facebook disabled etc.)
messaging - seems to work fine
e-mail - seems to work fine
internet - seems to work fine
calendar - seems to work fine
stock - seems to work fine
pictures - seems to work fine
music - seems to work fine
weather - seems to work fine
settings - seems to work fine (ipdial/additional options not working - dependencies)
hometab has 4x4 icons +other differences. i will send the packages to cookiemonster so he can take a look at them.
edit:
here is the pic from the exe (for people who didn't already see this device)

Very nice rom, love the dutch tf2d interface. Had some problems with the digital clock though, it was sitting in the right corner of my screen even if I turned off the analog clock. I fixed it by using a custom digital clock. Also have a question about the battery-indication, it seems to be showing it's capacity in green "blocks", but no percentages? And videos don't seem to start up from the tf2d tab, pictures work perfect. Thanks Flaxjef!
Hi Flaxjef,
Thanks alot for this ROM!
It's the first time i use a cooked ROM on my Polaris. I really like it so far!
I had some problems with the digital clock. The numbers were being displayed strangely on top of each other on the right of the screen.
I also had a problem with the Contacts (contacten) tab. It keeps forgetting the preset contacts. When I add contacts into the empty spaces, it will remember it for a while, but after a while, all the spaces are empty again.
(yes I did the hard reset)
I've those problems too.
Besides the problems, the rom is very stable

Wrong way round
Hi there, thanks for this. The graphics looks really ace. Just one question though. I have it installed and it seems as though it is the big icons that are in the back ground and when the slider moves over them they get smaller (I thought the purpose of the slider was to zoom in on the icons). Thought I would point this out incase it was unintentional. Or it could be something on my phone doing the wrong thing.

I think that is how it works too...not sure...on the other tabs like in contacts they seem to stay the same size.
I used HDWall to create it and all the images were the same size for both large and small icons and just had HDwall resize it.
I thought the icons stayed the same size and the large ones appeared in the middle of the screen. It is hard to see the tab with your finger on them when you are sliding so I am guessing the larger ones are suppose to be in middle of screen.
Will look into it though.
thank you very much, good input

They are all from the Mega device except for Stocks and Calendar. The Calendar is from WM 6.5 and the Stock is from some website I found online. I just touched them up and used HDWall to import them.
I would guess they would work on a VGA device. Give them a shot and let me know. They will uninstally properly, well they should

But can you also update/change the slider-icons of the all people section (go to people tab and press all people) and the one-person-section (as seen here: http://www.pocketnow.com/html/portal/reviews/0000001139/review/pc_capture58.jpg) and maybe also the in-call icons? (as seen here: http://www.pocketnow.com/html/portal/reviews/0000001139/review/pc_capture59.jpg)
thanks!

Sorry I am not a graphic artist...just a low lever modder The icons were already like that in the ROM and all I did was use HDWall to make slider.
Update again
I updated the files once again. In the current slider the icons go from big to small as you slide in the new version it is more like the OEM. It was pointed out earlier in the thread and just "fixed" it.
Thank you so much.. just installed on my Tmo TP2 and they look AWESOME. Great work and thx for sharing.
I just want to thank you verry much At0mAng.
It work perfect and looks perfect on my dutch Pro II...

[Dev] manila 2.1 - analog clock - "fully compatible"

After some hours of working on it, I've found how to have an analog clock working on manila 2.1 and fully compatible with others mod (Background all tabs, compacthome...)
It consist of a very simple embedded script in home.mode9.
The only little "problem" is that the analog clock is not animated. It move instantly when time change. It can be fix if i found how to use the "interpolate" function (tried it but unsuccessful)

For developpers, I attach my 1c684cd8_manila used in the screen shot.
It include CompactHome Standard (credit goes to Kamill) and is tweaked for background all tabs.
Edit: Added Zip and cab with all files needed (include Background for all tabs, compactHome Standard and the analog clock files, for VGA screen).
Edit 2: finally found how to use interpolation so here is animated version.

This zip contain the images + some other files I use
nice layout but you`ve lost calendar appointments, right?
No, calendar appointment works fine, I work on it for that...
All the feature of CompactHome work, auto hiding call history, calendar....
a question, copy this manila file into windows folder after installation of kamill's compacthome, right?

Yes, but you must have installed the background for all tabs and the analog clock pictures too
I provide my file 1c684cd8 for those who want to check how it works...
I will post a zip and a cab with all the files needed this night...
Edit: First post updated with zip and cab.
I finally found how to use the interpolate function so I've updated the first post with the animated version.
What image controls the minute hand?

This is awesome! I love analog clocks...thank you.
Any chance of you porting other clocks such as the Xperia
It was very hard to get it working on manila 2.0 with a small white box in top left corner.
Thanks

It is not compatible at this time, though I'm sure it can be made to be compatible . I'll try to work on it this weekend and update the panoramic thread with versions compatible with this and compactmanila mods.

I have this installed with 2.1 Panorama no problem. It looks awesome!
Guap has been working on a project very similar to this here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=498994 and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=479929. Maybe you can contact him if you have any questions.

Cool. It looks like you need to install the analog clock and then panorama mod. Is that right? The 5c9aa261_manila included does not contain the panoramic info. (probably because it's for bg4alltabs mod).

CHT 1.8 transparencies needed

I was able to make the calendar background transparent in 1.7.1 though the same cab does not work in 1.8 so I am looking for a new one. The music widget is new so I am in need of making the area noted transparent. I dislike the look of most padding around aspects of the UI, it just clutters things.
I am still of the opinion that someone could create an app that would toggle UI transparencies that would be hugely popular. Something like that would fit well in CHT as well.
Thank you for your time.

I think that CHT 1.8 is just still so new that nobody has yet developed compatible transparency tweaks, I've been waiting until some are released before I upgrade from 1.7.1
Look for [star]'s [CAB][VGA|WVGA] Transparent Manila {All Versions+Cookie Home Tab}. It's compatible with CHT 1.8. Using that v2 currently on CHT 1.8.

X2. DINIK is also working on some transparent .cabs compatible with cht 1.8. keeping an eye on his thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=678674&page=24
Thank you guys. I will try out the fixes noted a little later tonight. [star]'s cab looks really promising.
UPDATE: [star]'s cab didn't make anything new transparent. Still looking but like sirphunkee noted, it will probably take some time.

So now what I'm waiting for is an anastasia skin for the new music widget, I'm hoping Dinik will have a new CHT theme for 1.8

Works amazing. I was confounded on how I missed this as I did look but then noticed it was added after I had looked. This solved my remaining transparency issues.
I had a hell of a time with [star]'s transparencies cab though. After uninstalling it because it didn't do anything significant, some of the transparencies that I had already applied no longer functioned. In most cases uninstalling the old cabs and reinstalling them did the trick. [star]'s cab also seems to have messed up my home screen menu. The items in the menu all have "IDS_" before them and are in all caps which does not preclude functionality though is ugly and annoying. A couple other menus have changed in similar ways. Though this cab may have been hugely helpful for some people it lead me to almost a dozen restarts and may lead to another hard reset if I can't get my menus sorted out.

Home seems to work fine in combination with cht.
Got some dual sim buttons on the message tab tho. Facebook updates freeze in the people package and the intertab has a ugly icon
Any issue to remove the G and C buttons on the message tab in order to having only the GSM messages ?
Thanks a lot.

Which version are you using? cfc or original files? I have tried using the Original and used my 0409 from 2016 Core. But I have not got sense to come up yet. Just getting stuck at the loading screen.
And no problem with footprints and twitter tab ?

I used the original. To work for Footprints tab to adjust "Manila: / / footprints.page.hidden" = dword: 0" of app.reg in Manila_Core...

Yes I did all of this, I use Footprints, DocBrowser, Facebook Tab, Call History, Twitter, They were all working on 2017. I will try again without the extra tabs.
EDIT: I removed all the extra packages and it started ok. But man this version seems slow to me.

Seems fast to me. I have it working fine with all standard tabs. I tweaked a few reg edits for my own use after I posted the files.
Thanks a lot, with these version, no twitter and footprint problems !
Thanks to DFT and MU for posting this for us. I will continue to play with this build and maybe there is something still not just right. But Coming from 23017 the slider felt like a bag of sand was on it. With 2017 it was easily fast and was very quick. So for me I will have to work on this some more
