I've got Honeybun working very well with the UV2 kernel at 710mhz. I tried flashing the JIT zip from nfinite's rom and it worked.
I flashed the zip then wiped dalvik and had to clear data on HTC Sense, but after that everything worked great...until I tried to check gmail, then gapps kept force closing. But besides that it was working fine and gave me a Linpack score of 4.667 with Sense running and 6 or 7 widgets loaded up.
Any fixes for gmail and JIT on a sense rom?

Try clearing Gmail App, Gmail storage, and Google Calendar in Applications. THat fixes the gapps force closing on me.
Beezy420 an I have been working very close over the past month he has the jit addons and is currently working on updating his roms, this should be within a week or two, he will be doing jit as an addon like I have so just keep checking honeybun will be updated soon.

Alright, I only noticed this on one rom and I thought it was just that particular rom and that it will be fixed, so I switched to Cyanogen's rom and browser worked then the AOSP 2.0 came out, and I ran it for a while until the wifi stopped working in Ver3. I tried MLIGN's hero and the browser closed and I wasn't able to get a working flickr (since I couldn't log in), I flashed to another hero, King's. The browser does the same thing that the other hero and the rom I was running before the cyanogen (not sure who's it was but it wasn't a hero).
So here's what happens.
*opens browser* "retrieving sign in details" *goes to home screen*
it doesn't say "Force Close", I reflashed still nothing.
wipe data, wipe cache, wipe sd:ext2, repair ext2, wipe, apply update.
Downloading other browsers doesn't seem to work.
I have just rooted and installed kaosfroyo v38 on my Droid Eris. I am using LauncherPro. I was having serious battery life issues until I installed the latest CFS kernel (v9). Since upgrading my kernel, battery is great but the app market is broken. When trying to download and install apps, I get a download unsuccessful error.
I've read and read this and other forums for a fix and can't seem to find any that work. I did find some answers, but they didn't work. I cleared data and cache. I did a dalvik wipe. Did the market fix. Nothing works.
Strangely enough, I can install Verizon apps from the market, no problem. Also, some apps can install fine, like Best Buy. Specifically, I am trying to install "The Best Card Game Ever - Yaniv".
This is my first post, thanks for understanding my noobishness.
Try downloading "Eris Market Fix" from the Market, that's helped me in the past with similar issues.
As I said above, I did the Eris Market Fix. No help.
Have you cleared the Market's cache through Manage Applications? I've been running into the issue recently also. I'm using FroShedYo and that's seemed to work recently. Clear the cache on the Market app, reboot, and try the download again. I've also read where clearing all Google related app's cache helps, like Voice, Talk, etc but I haven't had the need to go that far.
Yep, did all that. Still not working.
I realized this thread is probably in the wrong forum. Sorry. I can't figure out how to delete it.
Again...noob.
I had to wipe the delvik after the fix when that happened a couple roms ago, and it fixed the problem

Yes... after running the market fix, you need to reboot into recovery and do a dalvik wipe. That should help with the issue.

Maybe it's just an apps2sd issue? I'm assuming that v38 + cfsv9 regarding apps2sd is not copacetic. Settings->CyanogenMod settings->Install location. Perhaps your install location is set as automatic or external.
After I recovered to CELB from KGB my market was broken, market fix and cache clearing dalvik and app did nothing... so I beat it into submission, tee hee, uninstalled market and reflashed gapps. Eventually I will have a computer again and will be able to fix things with more grace, but this method doesn't ever fail me.
I just installed froyo superclean rom and so far everything has worker perfectly except whenever I start the phone I get random haptic response and a little popular saying that Google maps unexpectedly. Stopped working and need to force close. I do that but this same thing happens whenever I try to open some of the apps that come with superclean froyo. These include maps, nav, latitude and email. They just... crash
I was going to try to uninstall them and reinstall them but I'm not sure how to go about that with them being included apps... I was hardly able to get froyo installed. Any help would be appreciated.
Try clearing your cache and davlik first. Reboot and try again. Still does not work then reinstall gapps. Its possible an old cache or Davlik file is causing the crash. Clearing those forces the app to rebuild new ones.
Wow dalvik cache fixed it thank you so much. I'm going to donate....
A bit of my heart to you.

Every build I've installed that uses .32 kernel (OC or not) is causing massive issues with any flash-based app, including Netflix. This includes my test loads which are always new/fresh installs on verygreen's SD card install. Doesn't matter which version of Flash I've had installed (10.1, 10.2, 10.3)...
Anything with the .29 kernel still runs fine. If you run across a fix please post, because that's the only reason I'm still running on the stable build.
AS in the title.
Any GAPPS package I flash on the latest PA crashes the acore service (which is the Play Services, right?).
Apps like Hangouts and G+ I think are the culprit, but even removing those doesn't help. Previously, on vanilla, neither of them would work, so I figured I'd branch out to AOSP to see if this helps, plus, it's nice to use. But no :/
I get this when I dirty flash. If you clear app data and cache for Contacts and Contacts Storage, then reboot, the problem should go away.
I'd come from a complete wipe (moved the zips to a usb stick and installed from a USB-OTG cable)... Everything was gone /system /data. you name it.
Ended up installing AOKP MR1 and the gapps package from march. Works great now.
