No there isn't.
Well not yet...
But then there wasn't a facebook tab either.
isn't there some sort of widget for certain versions of manila which will give you an rss option on the home screen, similar to the calendar bar.......
It's included on the later manilla versions but rumours are that the legend that is Cookie may be putting it into the next CHT release .

Is There A Background For all Tabs for The New Updated Manilla That Includes The Weather Clock???
See post 14

I assume you mean the manila 2.5? There is very little that works well because of the animation. I used HD Walls with manila 2.1 and it worked great. Now that I use manila 2.5 I have not found anything stable to use. There is a program called maxtt that works and still allows weather animation but it kept freezing my programs so i removed it. Both programs were found here on the forum. Hope that helps.
I have tested more than 5 different cabs and tweaks to have my background image in all tabs but none has worked 100% properly...
I´m using latest Energys ROM photon with Manila 2.1
Any advice?
Thanks in advance
There is a cab, But you loose the weather animations on the today page, but other then that is works like a charm.
In short, no there is nothing for Manila 2.1 with weather in clock. If I knew how, I would have created it long time ago...
Thanks zelendel, shame we do not have a full working version
Hope anyone can develop it soon
Anyother option?
Thanks,

No Prob but all credit goes to theboostman from THIS post.
I'm not sure if it would work for Rhodium as I made it for Blackstone But it is for manila 2.1 Leo weather Home tab

If someone wants to give it a try and get back to me it would be good to know.

Unfortunately this is part of manila and created by HTC so it woulod need to be up to them
A possible alternative
would be to get someone to write a facebook plugn for the today screen
and if you're lucky it would run with Manila Today (MTP)
I had a look and couldn't find a plugin that exists though
Good Luck
I have been reading the thread on call history and sense 2.5 and noticed today on Neowin the HTC mini which has the call history above the calendar. I think that would be pretty cool to have - the cab's that are floating about here all seem to do strange things to the HD2 with various people reporting odd happenings. If the mini has this by default could this be cooked into the HD2's sense today screen?

I don't know if this will allow me to post a link above. But one is the article the other the phone.
Thanks

I do miss the "slide off" the home screen but hey for the other extras hardly something to get down about.
Cheers for the replies.

Is there something like the old HTC Home Customizer that will work for the Touch Pro2? I've spent the last hour wading through this forum trying to find a way to replace the awful, 1970's flippy clock with a simple digital clock.
Is there a solution ?

If Sense == Manila, then the programs mentioned are of no help. I have Manila 2.1, and already screwed up the phone once trying to use a 2.5 program.
I hope someone doesn't chime in "Well just flash a new ROM." Unless someone can show me a compelling reason, (and a detailed list of the changes it would introduce), I'm not interested in doing that.

Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated March 11, 2010*
looks fairly simple:
-Steps for Sense 2.5 2012 Installation (INSTALL ALL TO DEVICE MEMORY):
1. Install .net 3.5
2. Install SDKCerts
3. Disable Auto Phone Shutoff:
-If on battery power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and uncheck Turn off device if not used for
-If on external power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and uncheck Turn off device if not used for
4. Disable TF3D 2.0 (Go to Start/Settings/Today/Items and uncheck HTC Sense or TF3D)
5. Soft Reset
6. InstallSense 2.5 2012 CFC / Sense 2.5 2012 CFC Mirror (CFC Compressed and includes all fixes. Once settled in, it runs very well! It also includes some new tabs and many tweaks/goodies! Plus, the multimedia key is now mapped to rotate the screen)
7. Soft Reset
8. Once everything is loaded and stable:
Enable Auto Phone Shutoff:
-If on battery power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and check Turn off device if not used for
-If on external power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and check Turn off device if not used for

My issue with flashing ROMS isn't difficulty, it's having a definitive reason to do so, and finding a clear description of the changes in the ROM.
Thanks for the tip on installing manila 2.5. Didn't know that could be done. But looking at a comparison of 2.1 and 2.5, I don't see an advantage, and see a couple of disadvantages.

There is an EVO ROM that has a customizer built in by the cook. I used that ROM for a little while, but really like the customizer, you could change the flip clock, analog clock, clock background, font and other things. This was a really nice feature. I have searched for an add-on or standalone app that I could install that would do this as well. Customizing is the main thing we are ALL trying to do here.
Anybody had any luck with this?!
Description
This is a VGA port of Sense 2.5.20182814.0 from Oboe 1.03 ROM.
On how to cook it, I hope that someone could come up with a tutorial. Anyway, the Core package is configured to show Twitter and Stock tabs. So, you can cook in with previous version of the packages.
Regarding EXT packages, you can use the one I posted in the 2016 (VGA) thread as I include the separate package for VGA. Also, you can easily port the XML files using XmlGui (see my signature).
Sense 2.5.20182814 VGA packages
24/08/2010: Programatix Sense 2.5.20182814 VGA (CFC)
Drag-to-remove feature in Home and Internet tabs for landscape is not working correctly.
The combobox component is still WVGA.
Settings tab is not ported because it has some extra settings which are not supported by most VGA devices. If I port it, I need to do extra work just to remove the extra settings.
Sense 2.5.20183025 VGA packages
06/09/2010: Sense 2.5.20183025 VGA (ported by abrasive)
Mods
24/08/2010: Internet Tab icons and People Icons (CFC)
Tools
26/08/2010: CFC Tool - I created 2 batch files for CFC operation. See screenshot inside the zip on where to place the files and how to use them. (Thanks to chainfire for cfc.exe)
Note: The batch files are tools to CFC/unCFC the manila files only. Please also make sure that all files have their read-only, system and hidden attributes removed. You still have to manually add the 2 dll files required for CFC support and patch manila.exe and mode9.exe to use them.

me too Again thanks programatix for your great effort
heyy programmitx, other than the tabs you already ported, i'm just curious if we could use the older 2016 port on the rest of the 2018 packages that get released. I dont care if landscape works or not, not sure if any other changes have taken place from 2016 to 2018
hi programatix, almost everything seems to work fine, congratulations for your job. can i ask you a favour? i'd like to adjust the alignment of some home tab elements:
- "Call History" button in portrait mode is a little too high
- "Call History" button in landscape mode a little too low
(probably 1 or 2 pixels misalignment between call history and date for both)
-"Alarm Off" (or alarm hour if enabled) text is a little too high (overlapping the clock minutes tabs)
can you please tell me what are the values to look for? is 22e41977_manila the right file to look into? thanks a lot!
Dual sim fixes
I am sure you already saw these fixes for the Message and People tab (related to dual sim) from mobileunderground:

Anyway we can use also the 2016 packages...i think for example that Core 2018 is more important that these 2 tab packages...
There is also Manila 20182814 from Oboe 1.03:

Mod to exclude HTC Messaging Client?
I would LOVE to exclude Messaging Client from my ROMs, if possible. I know with the 2012 port, there were a couple of different options that allowed me to exclude the HTC Messaging from my ROM (TMartin, kimi), but using those mods now break scrolling in my Manila SMS thread (and cause some other side effects). I know as the Sense versions get newer, the dependency on the Messaging Client increases (unfortunately), but I was hoping some genius could create a mod that would allow us to use the Classic Manila Messaging without any negative side effects?
I'm also having an issue with the RSS Feed where it only gives me the "Welcome" feed, even after I've selected & refreshed the feeds. I think, though, that this is related to the version of RSS Hub that I'm using (I was using an older OBOE version - I'm about to try a newer one now). Hopefully that corrects the issue there.

That key, of course already exists, as I am using RSS Hub from the Oboe.
Using a newer Oboe version of RSS Hub seems to have fixed the problem. Looking good!

If I'm not mistaken, it is caused by the Core package... because I've tried cooking in both original Core and People and I get the same result. Then I tried People from 2016 and I still get the same result.
