What are you needing it for? Which version of the myTouch do you currently have? Hold down back+power and that'll get you into fastboot. Copy what you see there down and post it in here.
Not meaning to highjack your thread but which one do I need to get root on my phone? This its on a regular mytouch without the 3.5mm jack.

Yes, your using the same SPL (radio, bootloader, mainboard) as the one with the jack.

Nah, that ain't a G2 (Hero). Sapphire is the HTC Magic AFAIK. 32A is the board version, and I remember that from the magic stuff.

I guess the OP has a phone that we don't have on the forum.
He has the Hero/Sapphire device.
I have a feeling that he just THINKS that it's the G2 because he THINKS that his phone is the second Android device to be released.
Either that or he like to give it his own name. I'm going to call my phone Fred. Where is the Fred forum for my Fred Phone? LOL!

any idea about the RUU name?
Because the RADIO version is older, when I upgrade it with <RUU_Sapphire_HTC_Europe_3.04.401.2_HTC_AT_test_signed_NoDriver.exe>, it will not work in RADIO step. The screen will change to gray.
And if I use RUU_Sapphire_HTC_Asia_WWE_2.53.707.2_SEA_test_signed_NoDriver.exe, it will tell me "Main version is older".
I believe it is perma-rooted but on my Hboot it is listed as S-ON how can I turn it to S-off? Many thanks

In my Hboot I have Sapphire PVT 32A SHIP S-ON G if the information is needed, I just want to downgrade the Hboot to 1.33.2010 any help is much appreciated!
If it's a mytouch with a headphone jack then I don't think you can

Why are you trying to get S-OFF?? There's not really any reason to have it unless your trying to change the radio, but that's not necessary, or to change the splash screen. It's easy to do if your rooted, but you can't leave it that way.

Just search the forums for "unroot mytouch 1.2" and use the link to "finally a way to unroot". There's a file in the first post that you run from the computer that will get you back to stock 1.6.

I think you can use RUU.
I rooted my phone and have Clockworkmod Recovery to flash roms. I flashed cyanogenmod 6.1 the stable release but after I finish it just shows the mytouch boot screen and reboots. I already try wiping it and flashing it again. But no luck Any help please?

Try flashing a 2708+ kernel. There are lots of them, you can find one on cyanogen's site or on xda (search kernel corner) or you could google "pershoot 2708".

No, foot's completely different from the SPL. There are a few features unlocked in the 1.33.0013d SPL that are not usually available with the stock 1.33.0013 SPL.

Uhhm dude u have the phone I have and tho it says 32a for the most part ir uses 32b things including roms so u want a 32b rom and u use thw ebi0 kernel cool. And the reson it says 32b is becouse we have 32a props nameingly the ram
