I just wanted to know if anyone else on the forums has been having problems playing embedded YouTube videos. When I click on the video it launches the HTC player, the video fully loads but the video stops a few seconds in and restart, this goes on. Occasionally a video will actually play all the way through.

I have no problems playing videos on the YouTube app, is there any way to just make these videos play using the app instead?

I am having problems with the YouTube app my HTC diamond. The video is great but there is no sound. If i play a movie on the device using media player the sound is there.
Just nothing on youtube player.
Any ideas?

I have a HTC Maple with one of those new fangled custom roms installed on it.
Now before I installed the new ROM, The youtube app ran videos perfectly on my extremely slow internet connection (128 kbps) with no Lag at all.
Now the new Rom, comes with a newer youtube app, and it dosent play the videos in low quality, meaning it'll take like 4 minutes to watch a 2 minute movie.
So anyways, can anyone give me the original youtube app that came on the phone?

I have a strange problem. Whenever i try to play a video from youtube application it plays a different video. The same couple of video appear whenever i try to play any random videp. The title reads correctly but the video is wrong.???
I installed Galaxy rom hoping to resolve the issue but it is still the same.

I'd suggest calling a Catholic priest and have your tablet exercised, but I doubt it's a demon rearing it's ugly head in your tablet. Two different ROMs with the same issue on YouTube....it's most likely a YouTube glitch.
I was trying to watch a youtube video. In the youtube app, it just shows "buffering... " and does not play. Using the browser, only the circular loading screen showed. Note that everything else loads like the comments, views etc.
However, i can view embedded youtube videos. Now im confused. I think it has to do with the youtube mobile player since the regular player for pc was able to play the embedded video.
Do you know any fix? Thanks.
just picked up a nexus player, all good so far.
2 questions about the youtube app
1) how can you tell what quality it's using when playing a video?
2) when playing from my subscriptions, can you stop it from auto playing a video from the suggestions is lists once your selected video had finished? whenever i watch a video from that video it automatically starts playing another video from the suggestions list.
