Since it's less than a week until release and we still don't have a separate section for the upcoming SGS2 Epic Touch 4G I figured it would be nice to know which developers are planning on buying/ developing for it. Hopefully this will give users a better idea of what it will be like over there before buying ...
I am not really a developer but I plan on going to the touch. I chose the Epic because of the keyboard and I have never used it. And it isn't because of the keyboard lag. It is because I loved swype. And I have wished it didn't have one since I got it. So I am looking forward to the new phone. Plus I actually like touchwiz and am really looking forward to native touchwiz4. And besides the obvious improvements to hardware, I love Odin and how simple it is to flash whatever we want.

Does anybody know when they usually add a section for a new phone? I was active in the Asus Transformer forum on XDA weeks before release. I guess I'm just surprised they haven't built one yet.
It is weird they haven't been added yet.

I plan on swapping into the ET4G from the photon on Friday. I love the Photon but am more comfortable on the Samsung hardware. So count me in

So, you're willing to wait until the winter to upgrade? That's why I'm not waiting on the Nexus, too many differing specs, and who knows if sprint will get it honestly. It'd be logical to put it on sprint, but not every buisness decision is logical.

Ouch! Well, I am keeping mine anyway. I still won't come close to my landline minute limit even splitting the minutes between two phones. Now, if your review of the ET4G is not a good one, I may still back out...but everything I have seen to this point has been positive

...On a side note, I don't care about your speculations as to whether it is or is not coming out for tmobile. I DON'T CARE. We will find out later that is all anyone can say.

I'll be selling mind around the 12th. It's got normal wear and tear on the back cover and chipped surround on the top. I think you can get them replaced for like 11 bucks, saw it on here a while back. Where are you located?

j just got it in august when best buy had it on sale so the only damage is my fingerprints lol

As an owner of an NS since day 1 of BB release I highly recommend you spend your money on ANY non samsung smartphone. Nexus S being no exception. I've been hanging on as long as I can for an ICS device although now looking at the UI I'm strongly thinking about going Verizon and Bionic. I can't wait to relinquish my NS. What a POS.

Just for clarification the nexus s is a pure google experience, no touchwiz or htc sense. I'm all over this, that's why I like the ns.

We have 3 nexus in my house a 16 gig, 32gig and a 32gig with 3g and they all feel the same. Did you buy your first nexus from Google when they first released? It may be that since those were first run parts something may have changed on the newer ones

I am about it buy it off of google so i do not get t-mobile's extra carrier apps that waste my space. currently it is 350 for 16gb and i was wondering if any of you regret buying it or should i purchase it.

Edit: I know there is no LTE, so so battery and camera, are those game changers, if not are there any other major problems?
I bought it 1 awhile back and it was great phone. Back cracked after a week in a case never dropped or abused. That was my only complaint and lack of lte support

Well he's saying it comes pure stock android. You can also tweak some settings to enable LTE on the Nexus 4 if you want it.

and it has lte, its just disabled. its possible to enable and use on tmobiles lte, i am. its actually an awesome device, i wouldnt ever trade it for a gs4 or an htc one.

It's a great device. Just only one problem i found is the device getting hot quite quick when play high graphic performance game.
