I cooked 23673 on my Rhodium. I get wrong caller id on incoming and outgoing calls. I did not install a new canvas and had no problems with previous MS builds. Can somebody give an advise? Thanks

The SMS center number sometimes disappears for no obvious reasons...
can u check if thats intact?
If its not mentioned before, Please Erase/Restore to Factory Defaults in Recovery Menu. This really sorts out a lots of problems. I forgot to mention this before
PS: This is to be done after flashin the Amon_Ra rom or any other custom rom

Huh? Just name your contacts properly then! There's no way anyone could help you, without you providing even the slightest amount of info. We don't know what ROM your running, if you synced your contacts, if you installed anything....etc.
By the new rom update of the td2 the new sms message do not appear as first message, when i get a new message its always message 2 i see .
Also the typing of a message is difficulder than before the new update, is here no solution foor .

I was pointing you to;
- Disable HTC Messaging App :
Use "Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging 1.2.cab"
Basically, HTC messaging is laggy. There are some fixes from HTC, but they are device specific, so if you're running a cooked Leo Based ROM, you would need to find the fix for the Leo.
I have a fix for LEO and Pure, but you're prolly on stock Topaz, right?
You can try the fix first.
If it doesn't help, disabling HTC Messaging and using Windows default is a solution, but I think you may lose MMS capabilities (refer to the thread I originally posted for info on that)

I got the same problem. Updated to HTC official stock rom to 2.53.479.3 and when new SMS arrive it opens the previous msg rather than the new message. The previous ROM didnt have this problem so I am think there maybe a registry fix for this.
Anyone know or know how to fix this.

Thnx , the problem with te sms messaging is resolved. Is there no fix that the typing going better, its a serieus problem on my td2

Leo based ROM is a ROM ported from a LEO device.
Topaz is your phone.

sorry I wanted to know if the problem of storing new words with wm 6.5 is resolved? I memorize new words in the dictionary but just restart all the words are lost. whether there is a way to solve this bug.

I think if some one call you and you picked up the phone. But don´t know what it exactly do maybe problems with proximity sensor or something like that. Htc can get award for the badest discriptions by support updates. Sometimes you find also thing like. This give the user a better experience
I downloaded from the HTC link, placed RUU_LEO08762_20100423.exe on my computer & LEO08762.exe (Actually HTC HD2_LEO08762.exe) onto my Storage Card.
Ran the RUU no problems. However when I run the 2nd file on my HD2, it reports, 'This hotfix is not compatible with your device.'
Tried rebooting & rerunning it.

Any suggestions?
I think you only need to run it once. I also tried running it through the phone the first time and also gave me the "not compatible" error. Used the PC file then it went through. The only difference I notice is my radio shows 2.10. My ROM is 1.66.405 WWE.

I suppose these are device lockups on incoming calls or sms. Older roms suffered badly with such problems.

Ok, since updating my HD2 kitchen with some new stuff from the oboe ROM dump, whenever I use the email client, and I create a new message or reply to one, I can't get the keyboard to show. It is always stuck on the numpad, no matter which one I choose. Only Swype works as it's independant from the rest.
Can someone please explain where the keyboard is "chosen" for particular applications, and where I can start looking?
This one has me puzzled...
