will this make my touch screen work again!!!!!
HTC must be almost kings of useless descriptions for their hotfixes! What does it mean?!! lol
I'm still on ROM 1.48 - maybe I should have a look to see if it's worth getting up to date!
Again nothing for europe
I did install the patch, will need to test it tho.. Anybody tested the hotfix ?
What is this patch about? what stability issues does it resolve? does it upgrade the Radio?
Thanks

I think if some one call you and you picked up the phone. But donĀ“t know what it exactly do maybe problems with proximity sensor or something like that. Htc can get award for the badest discriptions by support updates. Sometimes you find also thing like. This give the user a better experience
I downloaded from the HTC link, placed RUU_LEO08762_20100423.exe on my computer & LEO08762.exe (Actually HTC HD2_LEO08762.exe) onto my Storage Card.
Ran the RUU no problems. However when I run the 2nd file on my HD2, it reports, 'This hotfix is not compatible with your device.'
Tried rebooting & rerunning it.
Software Information
2.10.50.08.2
15.37.50.07U
1.66.405.2.76641 WWE
(UK, T-mobile)
Any suggestions?
I think you only need to run it once. I also tried running it through the phone the first time and also gave me the "not compatible" error. Used the PC file then it went through. The only difference I notice is my radio shows 2.10. My ROM is 1.66.405 WWE.

I suppose these are device lockups on incoming calls or sms. Older roms suffered badly with such problems.

hi experts here,
when i go to Today to disable my touchflo 3D and click OK. It prompt me an error, "A problem has occured with manile.exe." If i go to Today and enable again the Touchflo, the TouchFlo failed to launch, i need to do a softreset , only then the TouchFlow will come back.
What is wrong?Did anyone encouter this error also?
do i need to hardreset my HD?

yes... i just done the hotfix last night. but, before that, i never tried to disable the touchflo. but, i don think the hotfix will screw up this ,right?
the application i have installed as below:
1. HD Tweak
2. G-alarm
3. Touchpal 3.5
4. Resco explorer 2008
5. .net 3.5 framework
6. ce-star
7. some games
is it possible because of some application above crash with the touchflow? but seems like those application i installed is quite common to hd.
My first suspect would be .net, have you installed the .net config tool, I would try that first.
If not check with other HDTweak users if they can disable and enable Touch Flo.

I'd do another hard reset just in case, and if it still doesn't work perhaps upgrading to the newer 1.19ROM might do the trick (and not cost you your warranty)
Edit:
scratch that, upgrading means hard spl and that's non-standard

Alex, what's the version of your ROM? May be those with the same ROM version as yours could do a test and see if that also happen to theirs. Your problem could not be produced in my device.

Has anyone else found the messaging app to be extremly buggy? I have the stock ATT rom and haven't made any major mods to it. It's constantly freezing, the text input field is always hidden, etc. Is there a fix somewhere? At this point I'm even willing to pay for an app, but I can't find any. SMS chat doesnt work with 6.5.
Please and thanks for any help!

I'm inexperienced with custom ROMs, but I think its a 50/50 chance. Give it a shot and if it doesn't work you can simply unistall it. Everything will be like before. That's the beauty of CABs.

did you get the error before installation? if so, my guess is htc put in a check to see what rom ur running so the fix cant install on another device. maybe a good dev here can decompile the cab and remove the check/block.
cannot d/l from htc site....
Just got around to installing this. My messaging app wasn't giving me much trouble prior to now, so i just installed it. It froze right when I opened the first message and backed out. Just tried again and it froze again. Way to go HTC.

Hi all,
Running Yuki's Mango V2. Is it possible to update to this radio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1111613
... without reflashing and then re-updating to 7020? (I.E. maybe using the cab installer) Seems like a simple question but I couldn't find it in the search.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. I'm curious as to if this is a limitation because it's really not possible, or because no-one has made a cab. Since this is the software radio for WP7, not the radio ROM, it theoretically seems possible to update via the file system.
Thanks again,
B.

As I know it is possible to flash the radio by cab sender, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1250869,you can find this:

never need to create a new rom, you can create a cab for what you want (logo, radio & more)
take care update cab modification are not removed by a hardreset.

I'm not entirely sure this is true.. My HD2 running Yuki V2 has Radio 5.69, which to my understanding does not work with the Camera trick, and therefore results in much higher standby voltages than radio 5.51T.
Thanks,
