Is there a good app for ICQ in Bada 2.0.1 ? Because I was using Ebuddy (Java) on Bada 1.2 but now there are no settings for Java apps (I can not find them) and I can`t use Ebuddy app when its only displayed on the half of the screen and when on the other half of the screen there are displayed some arrows...

1st download the ebuddy jar file to ur PC.
2nd Open the file using WinRar for example
3rd Extract the file to your desktop MANIFEST.MS directory META-INF
3rd Edit this file in notepad and last line, we add the following lines:
MIDlet-Scaleup-Support: True
LGE-MIDlet-Width: 480
LGE-MIDlet-Height: 800
MIDlet-Touch-Support: True
4th Save the file. MS and replace it at our version of the package. Jar and install on your phone.

I realized that i have to uninstall the old app first and then install the new. Otherwise there will stey the arrows.

same here, awesome looking app but I cannot chat with it either because the keypad doesn`t appear when trying to chat with somebody.

FILES YOU NEED:
- Apktool - Compiles and decompiles apks (type extract, but Winrar not have to use this same program)
- UpdateSingTool - After compiled apks need a signature, that is what this program does.
- Notepad + + - edit the XMLs in a more organized way.

First we have to put APKTool disk C :/ or D :/ ....
In the folder where is the apktool.bat copy the following files from your rom: / system / framework / framework-res.apk
/ system / framework / SemcGenericUxpRes.apk
In that same folder where is the apktool and those files you just copied, will you hold shift and press the right mouse button, then click "Open command window here"
In this screen prompt that opens you will write:
apktool if framework-res.apk
apktool if SemcGenericUxpRes.apk
(fra writing prompt and press Tab to complete the filename, not only the framework-res.apk, only used for example.)
With these commands you will install the things you need to be able to decompile the apks.
Now I give the commands you use to decompile the apks and compile:
(Remembering must be installed with the framework, as explained at up to close the prompt have to install again).
apktool d nameofApk.apk - Decompile.
apktool b nameofApk - Compile. (Without the. Apk at the end)
When decompiling will be created a folder with the name of the apk in the same folder you are working in these folder will be all the apk files.
To translate'll get into the res folder, there will be a folder named values within this folder will be a file called string.xml, most of what the user sees in this file, but we will not change it, but will change the language "mother" of the ROM.
Let's create a folder with the code values that we want to translate the language.
Ex: values-pt-BR (Portuguese Brazil), values-es (Spanish) ...
In this folder you'll want to copy the files to translate.
If you want to translate to Spanish its better create the folder values-es and copy the files from the values-PT-BR, since the languages are similar. Use Notepad + + to translate.

PART 2
after finish we will use the translate command to compile, if the framework installed and all is right in the translation will compile, will be created two folder inside the folder you compiled apk, dist and build, build folder will be apk without the signature, to sign this apk is only put in the folder and click updatesingtool sign_apk.bat, after a few seconds will be created nameofapk.apk_signed.apk a file, this file is the file that goes to rom.
Now just rename the taking _signed.apk and replace this file in the rom.

-famework-res.apk (much to translate) - things rom as shut down, restart buttons, statusbar
in the folder / system / app
-applicationsprovider.apk - i do not remember
-bluetooth.apk - order of bluetooft
-calculator.apk - calculator
-calendarprovider.apk - calendar, this is kind of big, have those events and such
-certinstaller.apk - i do not remember
-contacts.apk - your contacts, as i recall is kinda big.
-contactsprovider.apk - i do not remember
-downloadprovider.apk - menu download
-downloadproviderui.apk - i do not remember
-drmprovider.apk - i do not remember
-gallery.apk - gallery.
-launcher2.apk - slinger rom
-mediaprovider.apk - i do not remember
-miuimusic.apk - player's rom
-mms.apk - posts.
-packgeinstalller.apk - package installer
-settings.apk (also great) - menu settings
-settingsprovider.apk - i do not remember
-sidekick.apk - cleaner apps, one that appears when you hold home, is not going to be translated into japanese
-stk.apk - yes tool kit
-systemui.apk - status bar
-telephonyprovider.apk - i do not remember
-thememanager.apk - themes
at times may have to translate string.xml, plurals.xml arrays.xml and depends on the apk.

Seems hard, but only takes 2 or 3 apk for you to know HOW TO DO IT..than is all the same..so its time consuming only.
but no hurries..all help is appreciated and we gonna have a full rom for all users.
just want to ask if i can get some users to translate on their own language.

I will do it for the german language but can you tell me where to get this programm? google isn't any help. there are some sign tools but nothing named UpdateSignTool.
Oh and when do I have do do this step`?

link fixed..all files you need are there.
to sign this apk is only put in the folder and click updatesingtool sign_apk.bat, after a few seconds will be created nameofapk.apk_signed.apk a file, this file is the file that goes to rom.

please dont do a translation before posted here and say..i will add it on users language,if not maybe 2 users do same language..not needed..bettersplit apks on the same language..you do this,i do that, if you know what i mean.

Install Google Play via this thread. Then search for Whatsapp in Google Play app and download it.
And if you are getting any error message, post it here.

then copy files (choose it yourself, i copied some files, included GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk) from /system/app to /system/app (root required) then Contact Sync appear in setting.

FAQ
Q: I'm getting ACCESS DENIED error
A: When you get this error, an error message will appear, make sure that "SD Card permissions" is GREEN and not RED
Q: the app crashed immediately after patch
A: ehm... I don't know, please advice me within this topic. Try to deploy again the app.
Q: Preview For Developers (or other apps) vanished from app list and I can't reinstall or unistall
A: Use Storage Sense to unistall the app
Q: Can I restore original apps?
A: Sure! Unistall and reinstall the target app
OTHER TROUBLESHOOTING
> Remove/unistall the app from the app list within your phone
> Be sure that in Storage Sense default location for app storage is INTERNAL MEMORY
> Deploy the app with "Windows Phone Application Deployment 8.1" (the 8.1 is relly important, the name may change, don't use 8.2, 8.0 or without numbers). Some Visual Studio versions have multiple deployers included, use the 8.1 version.

i am having problems too. i am on build 8.10.14203. when i launch the patched app, it's stuck on "...loading..".
can people that have it working please post their wp81 build numbers and firmware revision number?
Mhm... which apps are you trying to patch?
I've added a lot of try-catch during patching with detailed message error and the app stay opened after patching (it will show up a message too)
Check the SD card root for wpsystem folder, there is apps or asspx folder?
Maybe the app that are you trying to apply doesn't have a compatible manifest...
Try to apply them manually and check if that works...

i would appreciate a regeditor that is already adjusted to be compatible with preview for developers hijacking.
i tried the regeditor from djamol posted above with PFD.
but no luck. stuck on ..loading... when i try to launch it.
i don't know what else to try. can anyone with build 14203 or above confirm that the regeditor above is working with PFD?
That XAP isn't working for me too. I've Tried manually but the app still stuck to loading screen.
However I'm on Build 14219.

Ok, I've tried to make my own registry edititor based on DevProgramUI, but I can't patch it to Preview For Developers, the app crashes on startup (as DevProgramUI...). I've tried with my program and manually with a file Explorer...
I Will post soon the registry editor to a new topic, bug I don't know if it writes correctly registry Keys after patching the app :/
UPDATE: I have tried Glance Background Registry editor (the djamol one) and it works without problems with my tool

Try to soft-reset your phone, sometimes are the wpsystem folder permissions that cannot be unlocked
Yes, with this first version, only patching Live Lockscreen works because that app didn't remove every file/folder under guid folder for wp8 apps (preview for developers and glance background)
For wp8.1 apps it isn't necessary to delete every file/folder
I've fixed that with the next release that is coming soon
Version 0.2 available now!
Now it's possible to patch correctly apps for Preview For Developers and Glance Background
0.3 version will be available soon to fix other small things

Apps folder getting renamed to apps (littlecase first digit "A")
Four stage of Applying... called Defualt app backup (instead of Default)
and the "swapper" doesn`t starting if installed on SD card and then being moved to Internal/Phone storage. Just infinite Loading... appears if you made it. I was forced to install it directly to Phone storage to work.
I`m trying to apply your registry editor to Preview for Developers app. And getting errors (permissions and E_ACCESSDENIED/0x80070005) at the last stage (Default app backup line is filled and Applying custom XAP file is at the dots animation stage). And I`m able to rename Apps forlder with Pocket File Manager, WPSystem folder attributes unchecked correctly, Preview for Developers folder {178AC... is empty after your app`s activity.

if you are using pfd app then follow these steps
1. try using above app
2. it will show error , ignore it .
3. now manually copy contents of reg app and paste them in pdf app . ( for copy - paste use "file Manager" or "Folders" app )
4. done
It worked for me .

Finally done it manually. After your post I tried to remove PfD app, redownloaded it from store and then with "swapper" tried to swap the apps. After the error messages I did use Pocket File Manager and realized that this time Preview for Developers folder was not empty, there was Install folder into it. I have renamed folder apps to Appx, erased the content of Preview for Developers folder ( {178AC... ) and then renamed folder Appx to Apps.
"Swapper" is the name of the CustomWPSystem app. @GoodDayToDie used it the first time (see original post). I do liked it and then used by myself. Probably that naming making problems for translating sites. Sorry for the inconvience.

1- please add all " rename multiple apk " option to your tool.i mean i select some apk in your tool and change all of name to thats package name.the method of rename is this please " appname versionapp "
2- please make big size of tool.exe and more nice interface

Hi, i as you said to change the package name, it don't think it would be a good idea to change as i have to change the package name plus all the code inside each and every page. Secondly its just an app to install apk files into your android device so what extra changes should i do?
