I plan to buy the phone through an online US store. I wanted to ask the Americans here if they have any recommendations from personal experience? or stores i need to keep away from.
I just don't wanna fall for a sucky store

I had a few PMs asking for shipping to those of you in the EU. How much do you guys expect to pay in USD for these phones shipped from US. I looked on ebay and they are going for crazy money.
But keep in mind the following: I have to buy it, pay tax, ship it back to you, and there are paypal fees from you to me as well. I'll try to help you guys out but I don't want to dig a hole in my bank account either.
I bought two and would be willing to ship to anyone not in any of the official areas too. Not looking to make money, just realizing that it would suck to not be able to buy this phone just because of some shipping issues. Just leave me a PM if you are interested.
Does anyone know of any stores in the US that will be selling the Nexus 4 unlocked (ie exactly the same as the GPlay version)?
Best Buy, etc? I can't find any info out on their website

T-Mobile is promoting the same unlocked version of the phone, and I'm pretty sure they will sell it unlocked and off contract in stores also, but then again, I don't know what the price will be since you will be in a "T-Mobile store" and they can slap any price tag on an off contract "T-Mobile" phone that is promoted through their network.
It's been predicted around $ 500.00
You are better off in Google Play Store
negri electronics has it on pre-order, they don't know when they'll ship though
price is $100 more than play store. seems to be the only option for anyone outside usa/canada at the moment
Thanks for your help, folks I can order off play store as I'm in the UK, but I'm visiting the US next week and the play store US dollar prices work out less than the UK prices, so I was hoping I could nab a bargain in store

Why would you do that? You won't get warranty then.

Price is more of a seller than a warranty. The phone works out over £40 cheaper if I bought it at Play store prices in the US instead of the UK

I'm going out to Canada for a week at the end of the month, so I'm tempted to buy one over there too. I think there may be something that we can do in terms of sales tax too, but I don't know how this works and whether it's worth the hassle...
Anyone know how long it takes for something to be shipped and arrive from the Google Play Store? like 3-6 business days?

When I got my GNex it was 2 business days, then the stupid UPS decided they will not deliver on Saturday so I have to wait until the next Monday....
Okay so I understand that it will be a while until the google play store has supply. But what about other regular stores. Is there any information to when and if they will ever have them?
T-Mobile stores will receive them. You just have to call to see which ones have stock. However, they sell it for $500 out of contract, or $200 with contract.
if google doesnt have enough in stock..you can bet it'll be either overpriced or out of stock everywhere else.
I'm looking for a way to circumvent the regional restriction on buying my Nexus 6p.
In Canada I can buy the device, but I can't get the Nexus protect, only in US; is there a work around to allow me to buy from the US Playstore? I want the warranty, my carrier only carries the 32g model, but I want 64, and a different color; I also don't want to go without the coverage, especially with some of the concerns about bending a device.
Appreciate your advice.
Can you get Squaretrade in Canada? I heard there were some discount coupons flowing around
Other than that, go spend a weekend with a friend in the US and buy the phone there. You won't pay import duties if the phone is under CAD$800. Only bad thing is, if you ever want to make a claim, I don't think they'll ship to Canada, so you'll have to use your friend's house again.
Edit: Nexus Protect is available in Canada now
Let me start by apologising if I've put this thread in the wrong place. I just need some help with a purchase if possible from anyone who's experienced the same problem that I've had.
The situation is, that I have been following the release of both the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition and the Samsung Gear S2 3G with great excitement. Well it was a tossup between the two products and I really, really like both. Anyhow, I eventually decided on buying them both if I could afford it. To cut a long story short, both these watches have or are just about to be released in the US with no chance or very little chance of them being released in the UK. I've been desperately trying to buy these both from AT&T for $299 each with no contract but everytime I think I'm getting there, I come up against a problem. I've called AT&T, Samsung and LG USA so many times I dread to think what my phone bill is. I've live chatted with so many agents to make sure I can use the devices and they have confirmed that I could buy them with no contract for $299 each but I would need to take a data plan out which I can cancel within 30 days of receiving the watches when I get them in the UK.
Well basically, I can't buy them over the phone because the agents have told me their system won't let them do it because I'm outside the US. I can't buy it online because it asks for a social security number which I don't have and then my billing address is a UK one and the AT&T website won't let me put my UK postcode in, only a zip code. So my card details have to match the billing address otherwise the card gets declined.
AT&T suggested I had a friend or family member go into store and buy it for me and post it to the UK, but I don't know anyone living in the US. There are some buying services like shipito but they do charge quite a bit after fees etc.
Sorry for the rambling but there must be some way for me to make this transaction and I'm hoping that someone reading this from the US may have a brainwave or might be able to help.
If anyone reading this has any ideas to help or knows what I can do, I would be so grateful as it's driving me crazy.
Kindest Regards Matt

No I wish I did know someone over there who could purchase it for me. I've tried numerous US buying services who buy it for you and then ship it over for a fee but no luck as they can't purchase the data plan. May have to see if it comes to a retailer such as bestbuy.
