hi fellow chefs
as the title says i made a rom for the hd2 again but now when i go to the musictab and play a song it stops after 5 seconds
anyone got a idea what it could be?

try at first this easy procedure:
if your music is on memory-card than take your card and check it on your desktop-pc. with chkdsk.
this helps me. but not than search in this forum, there exist some solutions.

i dont think its the sd card as with every other rom it works as it should:S

SD Card working in WM
Hey Everybody,
I've looked at the video and it looks like someone has managed to get the SD card to be used in WM but they is no explanation on how his done it.
Can someone make any sense on how he did this??????????

This is indeed great news.
Google translation talks about BT too on the forum. I don't think it's fake. We need to get hold on this rom to add phone and gps. Too bad this group is chinese talking, I would have loved to work with them.

I don't know if this is enough to release the SD card for winmob side. I'm pretty sure our roms have SD card access, but it is locked on vista side. So the sd.dll might be the key. Anybody has an upload of this?
the author was shared his rom with 2 or 3 chinese people who was in his QQ group.some of the people who can not get the rom,they always said the rom is fake,after a few days,the rom works fine,and the author get angry,he said he will not share the rom in this 1-2 months

what i think is,when the vista is on,the WM will takes control the Marvell SDIO,the author said the BT is working fine too.(i think the wifi may be can works in wm,just guest...)

I searched all over that forum, could not find the right thread. Could you please share the link where you have seen a post there saying the possibility of BT and SD!

the name of the team, who hacked th sd card is "" QQ group"
evry time i try to access one of their forum google translator say me " page has been deleted"
Moreover, It seem thas hong kong authorities do not like this kind of hacking.

oh,thats because the forum admin dont like the Chinese pople who are not live in Hong Kong.so many threads got deleted.

I'm not sure registry will help here. I think the SDbus access driver might be the key. The group orbably patched it to initialise without locking WM side. After that, they probably just made a rom with SD and BT enabled.

i have tried to load the "darkstone HD2Froyo V2.1 (18-August-2010)" onto my phone multiple times, i have it in a folder called android on the root of my SD card, i have a htc hd2, O2 UK version... can any one help? thanks.

What rom and radio are u using??
Maybe you should read more. You have to actually do a bit more than just put the files on the SD card.

ROM version: 1.72.206.3 (86372) WWE
Radio version: 2.07.51.22_2
I tried to put a new radio on, but to be honest it was a failure lol

Instructions:
- Extract the Android folder (with all files in in) to root of your SD Card. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
- After copying everything to your SD Card ensure you have at least 1200 Mb free space for data store.
- Go into Android folder(using your phone) and tap CLRCAD (for working sound), and after that just tap HaRET.
- On first run when there is “Creating a new datastore” just give it time to complete, and on first boot be patient and give it time to load everything.

Thank you, but ive read these numerous times. you have to understand i am an absolute noob at all of this. haha
my particular problem is that the android rom starts to load up and i get the tiny text on the top left hand corner of the screen, then it slowly fades away... and nothing.. its extremely frustrating! haha

this is normal.. leave it running a bit longer (takes a few minutes for the first boot to create a data store.. then it should boot up

Correct me if im wrong but any radio that has 2.xx.51.xx_x
That .51 being the main problem for some reason. You need to put a radio that has .50 in it. For instance mine is 2.12.50.02_2
Note the .50 in it. You need to first flash hard spl using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE DOING ANYTHING. Once thats complete you have to flash a new radio, which is actualy pretty easy using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787 and this custom ruu file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4798017&postcount=1
I know this probably all sounds like alot, but trust me my friend I was also a noob when I first did all this. It could be your SD card. Some do not work all that well with win 7 this is a known issue. Sandisk seems to be ok, try changing your SD card if you cand and reinstall!

All the roms at the moment are the same ...we all waiting for the new NODO roms..
As for the phone restart its an SD problem...Start over bu formating the sd again or better start over with a new sd card...
SD card can make a big different in running WP7 ..of all my sd's (2g 4gb 8gb) only one sandisk 8gm 3 years old runs with out a problem... With all the others i have restarts or freezes

Yes I red what you posted and I went through all the threads. But the only advice is to try new kernel or ROM. I am not an IT i am a normal business man so I dont have time to "play" with my phone for the whole day.
That is Why I was asking for some fix. I used WM 6,5 and I was used to do things like this with hotfix-es

Hi,
I,'m glad that you took the time to read the posts I suggested,and I hope you learned a little bit more about your HD2.
The reason I pointed you in that direction,was to show you that there was no solution to your problem,other than to try a new kernel or ROM.
I am not in IT,and if there was an hotfix,you would have been directed to it.
It does not take a great deal of time to install a new ROM.Just make sure you BACKUP your information before you start(use CWM backup and restore).
Otherwise, you are stuck with your wakeup lag.

My earlier post was meant to be a joke between i & malybru, so pls don't tk it personal...I understand wat it means not to have adequate time to "play" with our phone especially when its a primary device to keep in touch with a business...Nevertheless, d only way 2 solve most issues is 2 get create time and play with different builds/kernels to find dat sweet mix for u...So just as malybru says, mk sure u have a cwm backup before doing anything cuz i've used C.D's 1.6 and it was quite stable for me...
