I will host online kitchens for free

I don't know if this is suppose to be here but if not sorry. I noticed the online kitchen isn't up anymore. I have two domains and a year left of hosting I don't use it cause I'm rebuilding my website. For the time being I wouldn't mind letting someone use my domain and hosting account to put up an online kitchen. feel free to contact me. just try to help the xda community.

You should probably update the name of the post to say I WILL HOST ONLINE KITCHENS FOR FREE and people will take more notice of it.

That's what I was thinking. I wasn't using it and paid for it already. So I was thinking what use can I put to it until my website it done. Then I was trying to learn how to create roms and myn told me to try theming something and see what makes them tick. So in the mean time it can also help me learn how to create roms so hey why not. I learned how to make wallpapers and splashscreens so far now I'm working with boot animations and changing the clock widget colors.

Maybe it's with the server. But, I am logged in at the moment and everything works good. I'll contact the server.

no problem hopefully in a few months when i get the money up i will be running my own cheap hosting service so if and when i get it started and get my own name servers online ill see if i can get you free hosting on my servers and your own domain i will pm you and let you no

Now it shows "Website under review" to me too. The server is crap . If I hadn't important files on the server, I would happily move.

I released this server as a tribute to megaupload.

Also make sure to check the section of the server in romanian language, i got lots of files there too! like Music and applications, i even have some android Apps there, use google translate to check page in romanian
But the main thing this server is for for are XDA uploads and Music(Yes i make music)

I pm ed you the account but you can t upload because i haven't yet installed an upload system on my website. When i will do it i will let you know. You can send me the file via mail and i can put on website till i make an upload system

Apart from making your server known you may also want to consider providing a service that is actually reliable AND available - the quoted posts above don't really spread confidence!
EDIT: A few tips from a guy who happens to know about server operation ...
What you may want to consider as well:
- Storage space! Depending on the device the ROMs not only vary in size greatly but can also be rather large (i.e. 300MB+ for the SGS GalTab.
- FAST backbone connection! If users will start using your server to have a mirror for downloads you will also have a increase of downloads and bandwidth usage. A 100MBit/s connection is the minimum, and your server should also have a sane traffic bandwidth/month (most root server come with a 1TB/month quota - and you may also find servers having 1000Mbps connection).
- Load balancing. The more users download, the more bandwidth they use up. To avoid turning into "Hotfile" (****tiest download speeds I've ever seen) you should look into configuring mod_bandwidth (that's for Apache) to balance the download speeds and maybe cap the amount of concurrent download connections so you won't turn into a hell of 4KB/s to 20KB/s download speeds.
- DOMAIN! Running on a barenaked IP address is all good and fine, but it would be easier to reg a domain and, if you keep your server running @ Port 8080, create a DNS-Redirect so the domain will point to www.yourdomain.tld:8080
In case you contemplate running this on your home computer hooked up to some DSL/Cable Internet you better forget about the idea. You most likely don't have enough upstream for downloads and your ISP will most likely get curious if you suddenly cause lots and lots of traffic on a private line.

Looks good to me. It's very simplistic, but I think that's a plus, since people shouldn't get lost trying to find where the heck to actually download the ROMs this way ;D

Not a bad effort but nothing I haven't seen 10000x before.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, I'm always interested in your opinions. As for your questions, I pay for the hosting around $40 a year I think and I just registered a free .co.cc domain. Well anyways this was just a quick setup and only a temporary design, I'm planning on re-vamping it soon.
I normally spend a week or two on most sites but this one was a quick 5-10 minute job just using a template. Anyways I'd love to hear your suggestions on expansion and development, if you don't mind?

Eset NOD32 Antivirus 6: Adress has been blocked.

AVG 2012, website is clean to me. I like how it's simplistic, easy to find stuff. Imo you should upload FW and Binary's recovery for a tools section.

Been a while sorry but thanks for the suggestions guys. The site is virus free I can assure you, my guess is the domain name ends in .co.cc so that's probably why it was detected as "unsafe". Anyway I've started a complete redesign and I'm uploading some new content so bear with me a while if the site isn't functional - thanks

Site looks great, however I have an option that would be MUCH more convenient .
This is my file host for a game called Minebuilder: www.fileblox.cu.cc
Its got an uploader available to everyone (you can add a password).
This would save you time uploading.
EDIT:
If anyone wants, I will create a sample site, with uploader and sample repositories (with a cool web file browser) and if all goes well, maybe myself and the OP could share our knowledge, or something if the sort

Nice! 2GB's of space would be awesome, but simple uploader has higher priority :3
