I will host online kitchens for free

I don't know if this is suppose to be here but if not sorry. I noticed the online kitchen isn't up anymore. I have two domains and a year left of hosting I don't use it cause I'm rebuilding my website. For the time being I wouldn't mind letting someone use my domain and hosting account to put up an online kitchen. feel free to contact me. just try to help the xda community.

You should probably update the name of the post to say I WILL HOST ONLINE KITCHENS FOR FREE and people will take more notice of it.

That's what I was thinking. I wasn't using it and paid for it already. So I was thinking what use can I put to it until my website it done. Then I was trying to learn how to create roms and myn told me to try theming something and see what makes them tick. So in the mean time it can also help me learn how to create roms so hey why not. I learned how to make wallpapers and splashscreens so far now I'm working with boot animations and changing the clock widget colors.

already working on it. i had to restore from a backup and unfortunately it was one that had some malicious code. should be fixed soon. sorry about that guys.

I released this server as a tribute to megaupload.

Also make sure to check the section of the server in romanian language, i got lots of files there too! like Music and applications, i even have some android Apps there, use google translate to check page in romanian
But the main thing this server is for for are XDA uploads and Music(Yes i make music)

Apart from making your server known you may also want to consider providing a service that is actually reliable AND available - the quoted posts above don't really spread confidence!
EDIT: A few tips from a guy who happens to know about server operation ...
What you may want to consider as well:
- Storage space! Depending on the device the ROMs not only vary in size greatly but can also be rather large (i.e. 300MB+ for the SGS GalTab.
- FAST backbone connection! If users will start using your server to have a mirror for downloads you will also have a increase of downloads and bandwidth usage. A 100MBit/s connection is the minimum, and your server should also have a sane traffic bandwidth/month (most root server come with a 1TB/month quota - and you may also find servers having 1000Mbps connection).
- Load balancing. The more users download, the more bandwidth they use up. To avoid turning into "Hotfile" (****tiest download speeds I've ever seen) you should look into configuring mod_bandwidth (that's for Apache) to balance the download speeds and maybe cap the amount of concurrent download connections so you won't turn into a hell of 4KB/s to 20KB/s download speeds.
- DOMAIN! Running on a barenaked IP address is all good and fine, but it would be easier to reg a domain and, if you keep your server running @ Port 8080, create a DNS-Redirect so the domain will point to www.yourdomain.tld:8080
In case you contemplate running this on your home computer hooked up to some DSL/Cable Internet you better forget about the idea. You most likely don't have enough upstream for downloads and your ISP will most likely get curious if you suddenly cause lots and lots of traffic on a private line.

So, I own 6 domains. I have a real site on 1, landing pages only on 4 of them, and a ddns domain name for redirecting security cam feeds. How can I host? I'm a website noob. I just use go daddy website tonite designer for my main page, but I have unlimited bandwidth and storage. Id like to help if I knew how.

I have unlimited storage on my main site. I guess I can't just upload peolpes files to my site through my page designer site?
You know, in the time you googled that, did the "let me google that for you" crap, hid the link in a url shortener, then posted, you could've just said "I don't kow" instead.

2. Just find your FTP info and make an FTP account for whoever wants hosting.

Yep it's relatively simple. I use 1and1 for hosting, never used godaddy so I can't say for sure how to set up FTP accounts but you should have a control panel of sorts. You can then create an FTP account for a user, define the base directory for that account, and then they can upload their files to it.

This is something I've been considering doing myself. It's nice to have more control than what we get from the current services out there. Though dev-host is becoming a very good host.

Also, godaddy is slow as hell. I would never recommend them to anyone. Austin, FTP options are in your hosting control panel. That's found under your Account below Domains. Don't do to much unless you have an account for it tho.
I have a Server at Hostgator, but they have hosting cheaper than godaddy and way better service. All connections are 100/100mbps constant ea.
Never looked into 1and1 tho, they good to you guys?

Help Wanted:
I need the help of a photoshop skilled person. It is my habit to always add some flares to my releases. I've made pictures, silly edify scripts, and boot images for pretty much anything I've release. This year I want to keep the tradition, but in a bigger way.
3 projects. 2 open source projects, and one closed source paid project
Each project will involve about 6 images.
1. App Icon
2. Play Market and Github App Icon
3. Play Market Banner Image and Promo Image
4. App Icon stencils (b/w, alternate icon)
The help I need is:
1. What is the average price paid for a free lance artist?
