text message notifications are setting from within the application
port more effort into ya posts bro
Must say like the post straight to the point,, if you want to use any sound then use something like Rings Extended available in the market

Hello,
actually is the first time i post on XDA no matter i read many useful and helpful threads on it.
I own an unbranded HTC TYTN II - just meets all my needs for businnes and fun.
Some day ago i decided to personalyze some way the ringtones.
Watching here and there i found a very nice tool - RINGO MOBILE - wich allow to setup ringtones by playing every Mp3/Wma/Wav stored in the phone or Storage Card.
You can personalize call ringtones as well as Sms Notifications, for each group, each contacts...
It works great untill now BUT i found an annoying BUG.
When i receive a call I cant silence anymore the audio notification just by scrolling the jog wheel.
Too bad because that program have great feautures in terms of FULL ringtones groups&contacts personalizations.
If someone got the same issue or have some valid alternative (i tried also Mortring but doesnt work well as Ringo Mobile does) pls feel free to IM me or make this thread do not die at the beginning.

actually the audio manager does is allow u to make ringtones from mp3....i hve not used this program but if it does what he says(which im sure it does lol) it goes way beyond htc audio manager....

I agree with you that HTC Audio Manager sets MP3 as ringtones and trim them up...
But i didnt see any option that allows you to set mp3 as SMS Notification, or set them per groups and contacts. HTC Audio Manager doesnt personalize ringtones.
Whatever, if someone v got the same bug or a better alternative pls post it here.

This is the second time you've asked for warez here. The next time, you get banned.
I have a lot of ring tones on my Touch Pro and I'd like to be able to use all of them without having to manually switch them every time I want a different one.
What I'd like to know is if there is an app that will randomly pick a ring tone from a specified folder whenever someone calls. So every call I receive will play a different ring tone. Does something like this exist? If not, would it be possible to create?

Holy cow, that's exactly what I was looking for! I've been looking for something like this since I had the PPC6700. Thank's a ton. I guess doing a search would of had that come up, so sorry fr that, but thansk again.

No more BEEP BEEP BEEP waking me up, I wake up in style mofo. Pzizz needs a chick voice but, that would be cool.

As you may already know, the tones that came with the HD2 are lame So for ring tone, I use one of my fav songs. But I have trouble picking a tone for sms. I've searched the forum but most of the links offer cheesy sms tones like "hey baby" or something. So, does anyone know where can i get some classy sms tones? Thanks.

My idea of classy might be quite different to yours but check the link in my sig.. you might find something there.......
You can pretty much set any sound you want as long as you can get a hold of it on your computer, just cut out the part you want, save it as a .wav file and throw it in your /windows directory...
Theres plenty of free .wav editing software on download.com or other such sites.......

I have just remastered all the Street Fighter II Turbo sounds for my HD2.
I have 'Hadouken!' for SMS, 'Shoryuken!' for e-mail and 'Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku!' for MMS, and I use this for a ring tone!
Loads of good free ringtones here:

Best ringtone site on the net bar none. There aren't many ringtones and message tones that haven't been uploaded by someone.
EDIT - make sure you change the search to audiko from the default Google search.

Here you go, I have remastered it for my phone so I have changed the volume level to suit my preference, if it's not quite right let me know and I'll redo it for you so it's a bit louder/quieter.

*Edit* I did a remastered version, it sounds a little better to my ear, I'll leave the other one up as well.

So I have an HTC HD2 with android gingerbread.
I changed my ringtone, in the settings it is changed, but when the phone rings it plays the older audio.
I tried re flashing, all it did was to change the ringtone once then it wont change again.

You need to post this in the forum for your specific ROM.

Is an NAND ROM or SDCARD ROM?
