Hey guys, last week, I let Engadget know about an official version of HTC Sync that can sideload applications to a non-rooted Aria. HTC just pulled that version of Sync. However, I managed to get it before they pulled it, and I wanted to post this here to help others with an Aria get Sync 3.0.5372. I uploaded the file using MultiUpload, FileDropper, MediaFire, and a few others, and I'm mirroring it to other sites now. I'll upload this post as I add links.

For those who don't know XMoto is a 2D motocross platformer.
XMoto is made for Windows, Mac OS, Linux and many other platforms.. However there is no official Android port of XMoto, or i just couldn't find one... Does ANYONE know any similar game for Android?

Hey everyone here at xda, Lovely forum here! Learned everything there is to know to about custom apk files, the best software for android and swype!
Last week my Swype 1.61 expired and I was in Panic! no more fast texting!! so I fiddled around for 3 days to get a working swype again.. 1.6x seems to be dead with experation problems.. so started working on 2.44
Thanks to the files supplied by Bec07 FROM the ROM released by norrgrd, combined with the files posted by ipmode_11. I was able to make a working 2.44 DUTCH swype package which can be installed on non-rooted WVGA devices(at least working on HTC Desire).
Code:
TLDR, in a nutshell:
Swype 2.4.44.10912.t100 Package with ONLY dutch language in it.
Usable on non-rooted phones. Put theapk file on your SD, install: DONE!

To be honest, i think more people would use it if it included the english language aswell, with browsing webpages in mind (and posting on forums like these).
I'm also wondering if its possible to replace te current swype sound with the old 1.6 "click" one, the current one is annoying as hell!
sound replacement isnt to much work.. switching between languages will not work with the 2.4 files I could get my hands on (and trust me I have searched the entire web).
You can include more 'dictionary' files and add them to the language list ("languages.lst" file).
But the menu that pops-up when you press Q, wont show ANY options.. not even the dutch one I added.. So its Dutch only for now. It is possible to fix this if you root your phone I think, but I havent gotten around to trying that.. swype for texting is all I rly wanted for now.

I'm just starting with my a500 been trying out different roms for the last couple days. I'm currently using taboonay 2.2 BUT I found a website that let me make some addons like games buttons apps and the boot-splash screen and created a zip which I flashed with CWM. Now for my question' I can't remember the website I used, my browser history is disabled so its not in there. I had to join the site to use the kitchen. Now I don't remember the site. Has anyone else used this site and can you give a link? Thanks

I see that HTC1guru.com is down for a long time so I'm thinking about starting this site again, but on free server.
My idea is to upload all RUU's, OTA's etc. on Google Drive server and mirror to dropbox or mega.
I can start server on free hosting without ads at Hostinger.
But... I don't have RUU's I have only GPE 4.4 RUU and somewhere maybe with Sense 5.0 - 4.1.2 (exe), so I need support.
I see on androidruu some RUU's , I'll download them and sort them for GPE Edition and Sense.
Also I'd like to insert there tutorials how to flash RUU, OTA etc.
What do you think - is it a good idea to start sth like this?

I realize the hd2 forum is all but dead, but if someone is still around, I would extremely appreciate if someone could share some working links / upload somewhere some 6.5.5 roms to download and flash. I've just recently got a new hd2 and want to set it up as I had it back in the day with the latest fw to relive some pocket pc games. If someone could share docs and links for setting up a kitchen that would be super useful too.
I'd be uploading it all to various mirrors for preservation.

If you still need something, i started an little project by archiving anything i could find on my hdd and the internet.
It currently has many stock wm 6.5 ruus aswell as a few android roms and hd2nand etc.
Also got the nand toolkit, drivers, cLK etc.
