[THEME]GlasStatusbar with nicer Icons NOT WORKING ON MOST ROMS - Desire Themes and Apps

On my Nexus I have my own GlasStatusBar.
Now, I've ported it to the Desire Section to make anyone happy.

This here:
Where to get it
Download for Desire Roms without SenseUI with FroYo Download
Download for Desire Roms WITH SenseUI and FroYo Download
Download für Desire Roms WITH SenseUI, without FroYo Download
Whats to do
1. Download your file
2. Copy this to root of your SD Card
3. NANDROID BACKUP !!!!!!!!!
4. Apply zip from SD
I hope you like it.
Please. make a nandroid. I didn't have a Desire so I can't test it. On our german Forums there are testers for this and it works there.
Known Issues
If you have a stock black bar on your Homescreen, I know that you're using LauncherPro or ADW.Launcher and have a static wallpaper. These two Home Replacements uses Wallpaper Hacks. Thats okay to make the scrolling speed with live wallpapers fast.
On ADW.Launcher you can uncheck the WallpaperHack. You don't need it with static wallpapers.
On LauncherPro you don't have this chance, sorry. Write to the creator of LauncherPro to make this optional^^

Didnt work for me on froyo with sense ui....was just black bar...
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

Works great on SetROM 3.5 (froyo, no sense ui)
Thanks!!

@mrwookie
have you read the known issues part in the first post?
You have Launcher pro or ADW, right?
Then please read it again

Can You add battery %?
Also, can You make the notification area transparent or black?
Thanks!

Transparent isn't possible on FroYo, as far as I know.
On our Nexus, we don't have this possibility, too.
If anybody has an idea: Help is appreciated^^
Battery Percentage? What do you mean?

maybe a silly question, but since i do not have a desire yet:
what do you mean with:
4. Apply zip from SD
how can you apply a zip?
should it be extracted, clicked on, double clicked, opened in a program, selected as a theme etc etc.

If you're phone is roored and you're running an custom recovery and have installed a custom rom over this recovery, you know what it means.^^
If not:
You can apply update.zip as they are. Don't extract, don't use any programs. Just boot into recovery, select "update from zip" and choose your zip file you wanna have installed.
Ready

It is possible. Actually Your theme took it off It is included in SetROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=699648 )
By battery precentage I mean an indicator of battery % left in the middle of the circle (like here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7126291&postcount=17 )

OK, I'll have a look into it
Thanks for the links.
I really don't know anything about Desire Customizations^^

No Problem with a Nandroid Backup, isn't it?
It is very cool, when you write your rom to those error messages.
"Won't work" doesn't help me.
Guys, I've spend a few hours over it, I never have a desire and you don't have 1 Minute to describe a bit more? I do it only for you, not for me.

Don't get me wrong, appreciate your work... mebbe something went belly up for me... but my phone is now erm.... out of order......
Nandroid backup didnt help either....
am trying not to panic just yet... am hoping i can get it functional again...!
Running OpenDesire 1.6b .... well, was!! lol!
if i get it up again.... i may try one last time.....

Ok. What you can Do:
Go to recovery and apply your rom again without a wipe.
I hope you can fix it with this.

I have managed to get my Desire back up and running..... with quite a mission... something went horribly wrong.... but think it was my fault tho!!!
Do you think i should try install the transparent again~??
it does look really sweet!!!!!

Phew....
I really don't know whats going wrong there.
On Nexus One it is far easier to make themes/Metamorphs.
If you know how you can get your desire running if it fails, you can try it again.
Sorry for the problems.

Try this: APN FIX
1. Load up a normal 2.1 ROM that MMS works for.
2. Download APN Backup & Restore.
3. Use it, Backup APN's.
4. Load up your Sprint ROM.
5. Download and open APN Backup & Restore.
6. 'Delete APN's'
'Restore APN's', and choose the APNs that you backed up from the normal 2.1 ROM.
Your APN's may be very close, but this will make them E-X-A-C-T.
I'd be curious to see if this will fix.
LWP stuff and APN nows attached.
NEW STUFF ON THEMEING Accoriding to Sunder these should work on sprint based roms, like this one.
I know this probably belongs in themes and apps...but as its pretty much specific to this rom I thought I put the info here....
Hey guys as relates to add ons, themes task bars, rosies etc...I highly recommend checking out this thread....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=668887
Kevlar's MASH Metamorph Theme. Check it out HERE
Now just keep in mind to search out things based on the latest Sprint leak when you're flashing mods or themes to your handset(some are based of Eris leaks, legend etc.) also be mindful that mostof these are sense based mods.(but there are still some cool things that will work on this leaned out version of Spencer's port also thats posted in a separate thread.) Id like to thank all the op's over @ heroc for making these available...starting to see some real eris/heroc cross contamination...i like it! And again thanks Spencer for an awesome port v6 with boot control ftw.
**Always Back Up Before Flashing ANYTHING!!!, I hold no responsibility for bricked handsets, fat girl friends or impotence these mods may cause.***
Everyone enjoy this ROM it took a lot of hard work from a lot of great people

circle battery and eclair icons in v3 would make this ROM..

Minimal Matte Grey Theme for CyanogenMod 6.0.0

Subscribe to me on Youtube

**Mod edit: Link to blog removed**
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Only works on CyanogenMod 6.0.0. Don't put silly posts saying it's not working because you're using a different ROM. And it's put in the HTC Desire section because it's only supposed to work with the HTC Desire. You can try it with other phones using CyanogenMod but I take no responsibility for anything that goes wrong.
This is not a Metamorph.
If you have any questions ask around, there are always answers to everything, if you still can't find the answer only at last resort can you message me. If you ask me something silly or that has been already answered I WILL NOT REPLY.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok well with that out of the way.
This is really a port of my old Minimal Matte Grey Theme.
Everything else is Sense based because I love the colour scheme Sense uses and the buttons it uses too but I'm most probably going to change it to suit the whole matte thing.
I'm going to keep adding more and more stuff to the theme so keep up with updates.

First - Download the theme and flash it over - Download
Second - Download the XML file and put it on to the root of your SD Card. Then go to Settings/CyanogenMod Settings/User Interface/Tweaks Extras. Import the XML. - Download
This will make everything like the time and date and stuff white, but obviously you can change the colour if you wish.

Don't even know which one tbh.
It's definitely not the nightly's one though.
I'll be updating it every time a stable release comes out.
But I think it should work with every nightly anyway.

Thank you for this in advance.I know I could do it. But your just so good at it.
Giggles
Great work

From a previous thread I read, I saw that you had previously modified your buttons. Flash back to stock buttons using the file provided in the first post, then reflash your buttons. All should be well.

Is it possible to get asus trqnsformer buttons? And will this work with topay 2.2?

I have no idea what to topay 2.2 is, but these buttons are in the Acer Iconia A500 forum. If you're using the T-Pad you're in the wrong forum, unless I've misunderstood your question?

Thanks, for those that actually took the time to read the first post, they'd see that there is a stock button zip file to flash back to (based on stock 3.2).

Unless he's not on an Acer stock based ROM, then the potential for a royal PITA hits.

[MIUI][JB] SuperBean 2.9.21 ~Even Slimmer!~

This is a highly optimized version of MIUI.us' Nexus S build. I have included several tweaks to make this rom a joy to use. Please inform me of any problems or features you would love to see in the upcoming builds. I will try to update it within a few days of a new release, but of course if I miss posting for a few days don't worry it will come eventually.
Added features:
Removed unnecessary system files that don't apply to our phone, Google Now and Voice Input, wallpapers, and ringtones making this the slimmest MIUI rom available at 123.` mb.
Speed, smoothness, battery, and a bunch more tweaks
Semaphore 2.0.6sc
KC1 Modem

Rom md5: e34cda316cd1ab1e6cd5e3724aece53e
I'd suggest flashing CM9 first, then doing this:
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard
At this point it will restart and continue boot looping – DO NOT PANIC!!
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard a second time.
Done/reboot

No. The only roms that have audience chip support are Stock Samsung Touchwiz roms, or i9000 samsung roms with Corn Kernel.
So far so smooth.
Thanks!
Thanks for your hard work. downloading now,

Make a folder in data/system/ named theme and set it with full permissions.
Everything should work except status bars, and dialer themes/phone icon
Apart from that everything seems to be working fine!
Great ROM!
OP's suggestion to get themes working, fixed the theme issue!
Only thing i cant figure out is - Where are the MIUI specific settings? Like , how to configure the notification bar buttons etc.?
Nice work. Really loving it. Pretty smooth.

MIUI ICS is still in very early stages, so these aren't implemented yet.

Pull down the notification bar and keep swiping till you see an icon with 3 dots, click that and you can change the style of toggles and what toggles you want
