This is a highly optimized version of MIUI.us' Nexus S build. I have included several tweaks to make this rom a joy to use. Please inform me of any problems or features you would love to see in the upcoming builds. I will try to update it within a few days of a new release, but of course if I miss posting for a few days don't worry it will come eventually.
Added features:
Removed unnecessary system files that don't apply to our phone, Google Now and Voice Input, wallpapers, and ringtones making this the slimmest MIUI rom available at 123.` mb.

I'd suggest flashing CM9 first, then doing this:
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid Backup or your choice backup application (optional)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard
At this point it will restart and continue boot looping – DO NOT PANIC!!
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (VolumeUp+Home+Power)
Install the ROM from internal sdcard a second time.
Done/reboot

No. The only roms that have audience chip support are Stock Samsung Touchwiz roms, or i9000 samsung roms with Corn Kernel.

Make a folder in data/system/ named theme and set it with full permissions.
Everything should work except status bars, and dialer themes/phone icon
Apart from that everything seems to be working fine!

Only thing i cant figure out is - Where are the MIUI specific settings? Like , how to configure the notification bar buttons etc.?

MIUI ICS is still in very early stages, so these aren't implemented yet.

Pull down the notification bar and keep swiping till you see an icon with 3 dots, click that and you can change the style of toggles and what toggles you want

Try this: APN FIX
1. Load up a normal 2.1 ROM that MMS works for.
2. Download APN Backup & Restore.
3. Use it, Backup APN's.
4. Load up your Sprint ROM.
5. Download and open APN Backup & Restore.
6. 'Delete APN's'
'Restore APN's', and choose the APNs that you backed up from the normal 2.1 ROM.
Your APN's may be very close, but this will make them E-X-A-C-T.
I'd be curious to see if this will fix.

Now just keep in mind to search out things based on the latest Sprint leak when you're flashing mods or themes to your handset(some are based of Eris leaks, legend etc.) also be mindful that mostof these are sense based mods.(but there are still some cool things that will work on this leaned out version of Spencer's port also thats posted in a separate thread.) Id like to thank all the op's over @ heroc for making these available...starting to see some real eris/heroc cross contamination...i like it! I did seems. It seems to be bug in most of the roms I have been trying. It is similar to the legend rom bug. You will be able to shut it down with a third party app I think. I was going to bake one into v3.
circle battery and eclair icons in v3 would make this ROM..

that's interesting I just saw that also. I tried calibrating. I never use landscape so I never even noticed. Will add to the fix list for v3. I'll try to get it done by saturday.

This is a port of JSChiSurf's Notification Menu Power Control Widgets (thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877003&page=13). It adds a set of widgets to your notification pulldown, which allows you to turn on/off various functions, such as GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth, flashlight, and adjust screen brightness, etc.
This mod will also give you a working 6-bar signal indicator, smooth sense icons and percentage battery. It will also allow for transparent notification pull down menu if you mod the appropriate PNG file in framework-res.apk. If you do not want these other mods, please feel free to remove them, or ask your favorite chef to do so.
And, of course, everyone is welcome to use/mod these in cooking their own ROMs/themes, etc. .
There are 2 looks right now (more to come), a stock look (screenshot on the left), and a themed look (screenshot on the right).

Known Issues
4g toggle isn't working yet.
I had forgotten to replace the stock 20, 40, 60, and 80% battery images (so you wouldn't see percentages there, just the stock image), but this is now fixed. D'oh .
Also, Please note that I have tested most of the functions, but not all. The widgets that come stock definitely work. I wanted to release these quickly so others can dive in and use/mod them to speed things up. I will be updating the widgets as things go on and people have a chance to use them. Please let me know what works and what doesn't as you try them out.

Backup!!!
Flash the zip via Rom Manager or Recovery.

Important Notes

- always download Original-Battery zip too (if something went wrong)
If you want to use Center_Clock mods:
- flash Center-Clock zip (e.g. ICS_Center_Clock_v1)
- reboot
- after reboot the icons in the statusbar will not appear
- open an application which will set an icon to the left corner of your statusbar .e.g. Airdroid or Terminal Emulator
- voila, your statusbar is back
- the icons will also appear when you receive a message
- you have to do this after each reboot, or when you restore a nandroid backup included Center-Clock_mod
... this way it works.

And this is just a stripped down Sandvold 0.2.1 build without any modificition on this two files.
The pictures above are screenshots from my device. I've tested every single flash file to be sure that they are working.
Maybe someone else with Sandvolds Rom can report back if he have the same issue...

And yeah I know the files in question are exactly the same, so it's really strange. I also run a modded version of sandvold (personal build) but I do not touch those 2 files - so shouldn't cause any issues.
Also - just a heads up - your images don't show for me, i don't think the host you've used doesnt allow embedding in other webpages or you're over the bandwidth limit or something. You probably don't see it because the images are cached on your computer.

The one in the original 0.2.1.zip is 1,024,264 bytes and yours is 919,814 bytes...

FYI, I have sandvold's 0.2.1 installed, but custom-stripped to fit data++ hboot.
Besides, I found the download links just fine with Chrome.
Maybe you could post a quick tutorial somewhere how you did it?!?

I am running 0.2.1 Sandvold's ICS rom. It is not stripped or modded version. I flashed V2 in recovery and only wiped cache. The battery percentage is showing perfectly.
Also, there is no problems with the pictures in the first post.

I lost my status bar as well.
I'll try again but this time flash rom>boot and setup>reboot,wipe cache and flash mods and then see what happens. I'll report back tomorrow.
On a different computer, different ISP, still can't see the pics - strange.
I'll try the centre clock ones later too, see if that works at all....

I got this working with the Sandvold rom.
Flashed rom with 4EXT touch recovery>booted and set phone up>rebooted into recovery,wiped cache and flashed mod and it works fine.

Hrm, really weird then.... I was thinking that certain recoveries were somehow having issues with it, but that's not it. I'm using 4EXT touch as well and it doesn't work for me. Given we all run the same rom, same hboot, same phone, etc etc i don't get how it doesn't work for some of us.

I also use 4ext. Flashed the 8 different mods around 10 times directly from the build in option in 4ext-app. Without wiping anything. Without any problems.
I really like to know what the problem causes.

Welcome to my another creation. On 24/03/2012 I released my 1st ROM ICSTweakedByAdwait_V2 and within 2 weeks ROM hits 500 downloads mark. I never expected such response from you guys. My PM box was literally flooded with your great comments and blessing. Thanks a lot for such a great response. I consistently received request to port vo-1's CM7.2 and here I am with my latest creation:

How to install :
Boot in recovery CWM 5
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache
Advanced>>Wipe dalvik cache
Choose 'Install zip from sd card'
Choose the file 'iCandy By Adwait_ICS7.2_v1.zip '
Reboot after the flashing completes. 1st reboot may take 3-4 minutes. After 1st reboot and setting account, 2nd boot is recommended.

Not sure! it depends upon your theme! If your theme is with transparent status bar then it will work fine!!
here are battery use screenshots!!
after about 14 hours still 50% battery is remaining!! It's my regular use. I use all day connected with wifi , use wats app for chatting for hours, sms, 5-6 calls. According to me it's the best battery backup for such use!!
Great work dude.. The rom looks cool and works smooth. Only one thing i wanna ask, how do i get the phone to wake up when sms arrives? GO SMS or Handcent would work fine, but how do we do that with default sms app. have read that SMS pop up would work, but it never worked for me on CM7

Thanks mate! btw, do you mean LED notification screen on?? Means you need your screen on when you receive SMS. Am I right?

Hey thanks mate! Well it's actually almost barebone!! kept those apps which I personally use most!! And I'm Marathi, so Marathi font is "must have" for me and so as for others!

When you go to the brightness option in the settings, it crashes but you can change the brightness via the status bar or power controll widget

Thanks for rebase Jake. The torch app and google search are FC. Looking good besides that so far.
FYI: phone.android crashes hard and sends the device into a boot loop if there's no service.

EDIT: Upon first boot, before any setup was offered, it said it couldn't detect what country I was in. It was in the phone app/process, and was trying to get something about a country code. Then the phone process crashed, and it brought me to my home screen. Which is fine I guess, I can go through setup in the settings I think.
Very smooth and responsive. Very clean build too, love that.
One bug I've found so far, it that in the camera, when you go into settings and edit something (i.e. number of pixels), those settings become unresponsive to touches, and you have to kill the camera app to access those adjustments again.
EDIT: Quickboot is enabled by default. Switch this off if you want to be able to boot into Hboot/recovery. If not, this does a frickin great job of booting in like 8 seconds or less. Insane. This might be a sense feature though, I think it'll go away when you flash the aosp settings.
Will the incoming and out going call screens eventually become ASOP?
