German QWERTZ keyboard

I've bought an xperia in Germany and flashed it with the generic uk rom.
How do I change the registry settings to use the qwertz keyboard for this uk version?
I've searched the forum but couldn't find any working solution?

sorry, also looking for the same , but nobody sesm to know anything.
in the previous htc models, there was a possibillity for a reg_key change for the keyboard but they've chnged the number sequence

Is this not just the same as the Advanced Config Tool does?

Hi guys,
just did it. Works perfectly. Have now an UK ROM driven X1 with the german keyboard.
It is the code (hex) 407, that works.
The tool to get into the reg.:
http://www.phm.lu/downloads/download.aspx?{940B734A-C437-41C7-ADED-2A4418802FD3}
to download is : Pocket PC 2002/2003(ARM/PXA).
Just install and go from there. Straight forward.....even for me

little big problem with weather panel language

hi there all!
I've been searching the forum and google but unfortunately no success...
how is it possible to change the weather panel language ( city names and countries ) from french ( that I have now ) to english?
it happened that after installing a theme made by a french guy i guess it did some tweaks and now I have the whole weather panel names and only those( everything else in the phone is in the correct language ) in french...uninstalling it didn't solve the problem.

Maybe use the Diamond TF3D Config program to change touchflo3d language to English.

nope... already tried that...I can change the whole tf3d language into whatever but the names of the cities and countries in the weather panel remain in french no matter which other language i choose!!!!

Tried removing and re-adding your cities?

I have the same problem with a wwe rom that was based on ita rom.
All the wm is ok, but the weather tab shows countries and cityes in Italian.
I supose that some of the manila files in widows dir should be deleted or replaced ?

removing the cities doesn't help at all...all the countries and cities are and remain in french....however thanks for the hints!!!!
If you find which is the file with the italian names would you hand it to me please? because that is the one that I was actually looking for...
I asked english at the beginning of my thread only because I thought that it would have been easier for the guys here in the forum to help me out but italian is what I'm actually looking for...
I think there should be a registry key to alter to heve the right language back ....

I have the same problem, all of my cities are in French after installing one of Zitoun's themes. The guy makes good themes and all, but putting his face in the sun is ridiculous. I can't find a way to change the cities to English, can anyone help out with this?

Did anyone solved this problem?
I'm also with this problem since I've tried Zitoun's themes....

EnergyROM 'Genesis' footprints fix ?

on this rom, footprints doesn t work (can t open camera device)
is there somebody who has a cab for try to reinstall footprints or a tip for fix this?

ok...i see. i've been there before. when that happens to me, i repost the same question in the ROM thread. if there's no answer, i guess no one has been successful fixing footprints.

in my knowledge there's no such fix.

[Q] How to change search-provider in Opera-tab?

Hi,
I tried to change the internet-search-provider in the Opera-tab on my T-Mobile-branded HD2.
The provider is defined under the following registry-key:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Internet.SearchUrl
Unfortunately I have overwritten the orginal entry. I entered a Google-Url which opens Google search but the already entered search phrase is not copied to Google.
1. Could someone with a T-Mobile-branded HD2 please post the original registry-key.
2. Could someone with an unbranded HD2 post the registry-key.
3. Any suggestions for working links for a direct search out of the opera-tab are welcome!

I'm afraid that registry key doesn't exist on my unbranded HD2.

Not there on an O2 machine either.

Thank you for your reply johncmolyneux, which actually solved my problem. I just deleted this registry-key and now Google-search is working properly. Seems to be an optional registry-key which allows providers to change the default Google-search.

[PROBEM]Sim Manager wont work after update to manila 2018

hello to all recently i have updated to manila 2018 OBOE packages after flash i did not able to launch sim manager it told like "This device had no SIM Card"" will any one please help me if u have a solution

there is no thread about this problem ....if i ask the question in manila 2018 thread ..if i find the answer the moderator not able to add the post to solved issues..so why i ask question here it will be easy for moderators will add in solved issues .....;if i open threads that means i did not find solution ...;i close ally my threads with "Solved" when i have the solution......please see the solved issues thread.

After two days of searching finally found it ....I have updated my message enhancement packages from oboe and it had the dual sim reg entries and I replaced with the Manila 2016 packages now it works.....
Thank u very much to Jerpelea who helped me to find this .....

my SIM MANAGER does not work once again,i just updated my manila packages to Manila 2018 shipped version, when i launch Sim manager it shows like"This device does not hae Sim card" i dont what i missing will any one please help me if u have any solution...
NOTE-I use people packages from Manila 2016...
