Chinese Language Patch--Help!

Dear Friends,
I lost my installing file of "WM2005" Chinese Language Patch" for my Qtech 9100, and I can't find it in Internet, if anyboday has this file, please help me!

Which patch are you using? I've tried a few international coding stuff for WM5, none really works well. Good if you can tell us where you get this 'patch' from

I got the file from a website that the name I can't remember, but the CAB file was writen by a phlippine, he is really great, this file is the best I have ever used.
for My hard disk died, I lost all my datas...
I juat remember, after you install this cab file, you will have this program--"WM2005 Chinese Language Patch".

I don't want my whole PDA in Chinese, just want Babelfish to work..

IT'S ALIVE!! IT'S ALIVE!! Now I need a input method (SIP?). Kiru, any recommendation? I want small small SIP. I'm left with only 6MB. Will do spring cleaning later
UPDATE: I've got a nice SIP from Asukal here (small, 1.4+Mb)

May I know how much space does all the font, patch and SIP took? May consider changing if it takes less space.
Also, can you like repeat the instructions posted there, and possibly attach the attached-file so fellow members here won't have to register to the forum to get the file.

[Q] How to change search-provider in Opera-tab?

Hi,
I tried to change the internet-search-provider in the Opera-tab on my T-Mobile-branded HD2.
The provider is defined under the following registry-key:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Internet.SearchUrl
Unfortunately I have overwritten the orginal entry. I entered a Google-Url which opens Google search but the already entered search phrase is not copied to Google.
1. Could someone with a T-Mobile-branded HD2 please post the original registry-key.
2. Could someone with an unbranded HD2 post the registry-key.
3. Any suggestions for working links for a direct search out of the opera-tab are welcome!

I'm afraid that registry key doesn't exist on my unbranded HD2.

Not there on an O2 machine either.

Thank you for your reply johncmolyneux, which actually solved my problem. I just deleted this registry-key and now Google-search is working properly. Seems to be an optional registry-key which allows providers to change the default Google-search.

Searching for HTC Touch2 WM6.5 Arabic ROM

Hello Everybody,
I would like to change the current system of my HTC Touch2 - Mega from EN to ARABIC, but i can't download the related rom update :
HTC Touch2 WM6.5 Arabic ROM (GCC and Egypt)
- NOT AUTHORIZED FOR NEW USERS -
(Search google, and get it by the first item!)
because of the serial number incompatibility (quite normal according to HTC support!)
Could someone in this forum give me some clues or links to download this file from another location please ?
I did'nt found any information about this rom in xda forums, although the rom exists (official link of HTC middle east!)

Did you try Google? And if you find it you cant put it on your phone without HSPL, just to let you know before you kill you phone.

Of course already tried google seach, but found nothing valid !
No HSPL is needed for all official HTC ROM upgrade, i have already upgraded successfully my device from GER --> ENG, and now i need an ARABIC one, the official one that i cannot download from official HTC middle east web site because of serial number problem (bought my device in germany!)
Please if anyone can help me !

I managed to download the Arabic ROM, and I chose the locale Saudi Arabia as it is the only one available for Arabic. But I still cannot read or write Arabic!

If yes, could you upload it on rapidshare/megaupload ?
In fact, it is only a serial number problem, because my device's one is a german one, i cannot download it, what about yours ? is it a middle east original one ?
Something helpful, can be to give here an arabic device serial number in order to be able to download it from HTC official site and then put it here as a link for xda dev forum users !

HTC Mega Official Rom Asian 1.28.707.3 Radio 3.48.25.27

That's not an arabic one ?...
Why did you post this one in this thread, this is not an arabic rom ?

goto htc, select middle east as country. goto support then downloads. there's a rom there. download, install. goto value added in your pda start menu. install the Arabic service and enjoy.

Unfortunately not so easy, u need a valid arabic serial number to dl it !...
That's why i am searching for this one also...

weird. whats the story behind it? care to explain? got from some other country or what? and now you need to get Arabic in it?
Here, was messing around with my s/n. made this up and worked. 'HT9a4p103340'. (again remember its not mine, who knows who owns it not that it matters eh).

[Q] About Typing Chinese

I have just dowload cloudy 0.5 for wm6.1
But in the regional setting it doesn't Have hong Kong
So My Touch HD cant display chinese[traditional]
I have found a post about displaying chinese but its about simplified chinese
Anyone know the solutions???

i download vivi.cab to choose HK.
what is your input software? i am looking for changjei (倉頡)
and keyboard.

I tried using ROM Upgrade Utility (RUU) but doesn't work.
Do i need any special software to remove the original ROM?

Go to start, you have a shotcut called "value added pack", this is the arabic support. Install it and enjoy

I downloaded it, used Universal Extractor Language File to extract the NBH file and with the DFT_SSPL_MINI, I installed.
It is working fine so far and has the Arabic language support, besides other languages. What I don't like is the English font, it is not as smooth as the one I used to have before.
