Has anyone managed to reduce the sensitivity of the touchscreen? eg using any of the tweaks or apps from the HD2?
I tried BSBTweaks's reducing sensitivity but it didn't seem to work on the HD mini much.
Any help on this appreciated!
Same for me no change with BSB
Try this one:

Use Version 1.2.0 or 1.3.0.
I think it made my Touchscreen better to handle.

Hi there,
I have iGO 6 installed on my Athena and it works fine with lower resolutions. However when I change resolution to 128dpi or higher with RealVGA software, it doesn't work properly. The screen goes crazy (buttons relocated, non responding half screen etc). Does anyone know why and can you suggest any solutions?
thanx in advance

try searching! Eaglesteve has sorted this.
OK - so you can't actually find using search - nor can I.

Hi Everyone, im a bit puzzled about the screen res of the Touch HD. Ive installed a skin, aswell as battery for the S2U2, and both of them were VGA. Now im reading that the Touch HD has a screen wich is WVGA... but every time ive tried installing something optimized for the WVGA it cripples the output, so im allways sticking to the VGA...
So can anyone of you explain to me, whats the issues here? Either its me doing something wrong or else my eyes just adapts the VGA better on my Touch HD screen
Looking forward getting a bit smarter, thanks.
Touch HD - 480*800 (WVGA)
Touch Pro - 480*640 (VGA)
Touch Cruise - 240*320 (QVGA)
Since I have Polaris, I can't explain why is display crippled.
Maybe lack of developers with Touch HD, so nothing is optimized for it, just (badly) adapted from VGA?
Thanks for your answer... Its really strange, cause all the programs, battery files for s2u2, all skins in general is for me VGA. If I try a WVGA optimized skin it doesnt look good on my Touch HD Well... im satisfied, but were just qurious to find out what screen resolution I were dealing with.
Hey guys,
Just got my HD. Lovely looking phone... but a little slow? Texting is difficult, as i tap it 3 times and sometimes doesnt respond as quickly as it should?
Just a question really, as im new to HTC after having Sony Ericssons for the past 3 or 4 years, can I "speed" it up, in regards to it responding slow?
What programs are the best to use for the phone, like add-ons?
Any help please?
Can you play DIVX movies on the HD?
check out the wiki software page(s): http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Software
And, the Blackstone page: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blackstone
Yes it can play DivX, just dl the DivX player (free). Also, there is a patch to fix the lag from typing (the only patch from htc) and it does the job well.
I think Schap's Advanced Configuration utility allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the touch screen.
The use of this is even more so, when you use a screen protector. Google and I'm sure you'll find it (though I may have spelt Schap wrong)

Click to collapse
How do you use schap's tool to change screen sensitivity ?, the only sensitivity you can change there is the TouchFlo one, and it does not affect the keyboard no ?

On xtrakt the accelerometer is broken, any registry tweaks to fix this? Many of my games are doing this!
Games that have full screen support for the HD2 (800 x 480) have accelerometer settings but the phone will not react to the movements.
Thanks for all your help and fast replies.
(Apologies if this has previously answered, I dont mean to clot up the Q&A )
have you tried bsb tweaks?
Just added it to the rotation.
Enabled rotation and its still not working.
Any help guys?
Please
Perhaps its a problem with the ROM?
Using Energy May 28th GTX Themed
it's true that the Accelorometer on the HD2 sucks. It doesn't work correctly with games such as Need for Speed, Xtrax,...racing games in particular. The Touch Pro 2 works much better. I have tried all ROMs, even reversing back to stocks Rom. It sucks because I'd like to play racing game on HD2 ...like the ipad. I have also tried all short of tricks. It's not the rotation that broken, it's the Gsensor not being sensitive enough.
Hello everyone,
I thought of increasing the screen resolution on my tattoo and already found a tutorial, how to do this:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/78009-essentially-make-your-droid-screen-higher-resolution-tutorial.html
For other devices (with larger screens) it works with no problems, but have anyone tried this with the tattoo?
It's no complex task, but is it worth it?
If yes: What values do you use?
Cheers!
