No Free Apps that I know of, but there's a commercial app called magicall. I use it and I think it's worth it.

Call firewall 1.4 is free and will work on HD2
Incoming call blocker HD2 is free as well: hd2apps
Do those apps block anonymous calls also? I hate seeing that "unknown" caller on the screen lol

Yep, both of those will...the hd2apps incoming call blocker even has an option to block only unknown calls.

Search for callfirewall in the forum. (Only works for incoming not for outgoing calls.)
That app is called fixed dialing. It needs PIN2.

I am using commercial software called MagiCall from mobiion. It can block incoming calls, sms and block outgoing calls as well. Read more from here http://www.mobiion.com/magicall.html
I really miss the callblocking from cyanogen damn creditors trying to call me all hours of the day. Is there a way to get that up and running with temp root?
i, too, would love to have this back.

I think you can add them as a contact and have it send that number directly to voicemail.
Youmail works good for this as well.
You can use an app in the market called Call Block. You can set a blacklist and have the phone either hang up on them or send it to voicemail. Works on texting as well for those pesky exes ;-) haha

^^^ This. It's an app called Mr. Number Call Block (at least, the one I use is). It's free, and works great. Has an automatic blacklist for suspected spammers, too, like telemarketers and such. Worth a shot.
Just got it and right after install it block a call from someone that I didnt even put on the list.. it just knew.. awesome!!

will this block withheld numbers?
I want numbers coming through from teacher's, and freinds. but only block those who hide they number.
becuase if they hide they number i can't ring them back.
and people who hide they number are giving me prank calls.
"Block anonymous calls" will block people who hide their number.

Aww. You must have pranked bad lol. In here we can block calls from 'Unknown Numbers' with carrier provider. Just saying.

Prank calls i think its them thief who stole my iphone 5S gold 32Gb on Gumtree they gave fake money. 5 or 6 guys came in a black 4x4.
they try logging into my Apple account which then got blocked.
then keep ringing me saying they from 02 and pure gym telling me to join. and keep ring me and screaming and making funny voice.

No, doesnt block who calls with unregistered number. But blocking its carrier thing you know. It can be different for you.

might have to ring 02 network or change my number.

I was using my phone a few days. I could click a phone number, go to Call Details, and Block Number.
I rooted my phone, because I wanted to try a manual update to Feb OTA and now I can no longer block calls
Any ideas?

i have tryed truecaller and calls blacklist but they aren't working prorperly..
TRuecaller never blocked a private call... the call blacklist blocks on the begining but then stops to block..
any ideas or solution?

None works with my phone.. another help? call blacklist blocked 2 or 3 unknown calls, no more.. then phone rings.. now rings always.. truecaller the same......
did you actually go through all the settings in true caller? Works perfectly here for a long itme..

Typically (at least for the "calls blacklist" app) the app asks if you want to set up the app as your "default phone" app. If you choose not to do this, then it will not "intercept" any call blocking you have configured. Check to see in your apps, which is the default "phone". If its still your actual "phone" app, then these apps will not be able to block anything.
I actually use Hiya, costs $2.99/month for Android users. (Works on iOS as well). It can do a ton of stuff you are looking for.

I have set up the app as default phone.. i did it.. but it didn't block them.. dont know what to do..
Have you tried youmail? There's a free plan & has worked for me for over 15 years

In the app i'm using, it initially didn't block either.... coz i missed a few steps (I'm using the app i mentioned in my earlier post, "calls blacklist"). I loaded the app, and turned on the "calls" (I didn't enable sms). Then, i figured out, i had to hit that little "down arrow" on the right, and actually select "private" and "unknown" numbers. Mine has been blocking ever since.
I block unwanted numbers in the dialer itself,,, I have google dialer installed and don't know if OOS dialer has the same options as the google dialer.
This is what i do ,,,,,, Go to dialer settings in settings you see blocked numbers and caller id and spam.
In blocked numbers you can block the spamcaller.
in Caller Id and spam suspected spamcalls.
