Hi,
I have a g2 touch on tmobile, unlocked and using with 3 network. It currently shows as ROM version 2.73.110.26, Android 1.5.
When I try to download android apps from the "Market", it asks me to log into my gmail account. When I put in the details, it is signing in for two minutes, saying "connecting with google servers", but then the message "cant establish a reliable data connection to the server" comes up. I was trying to connect with wifi. I can connect with a browser no problem. I also cleared the google apps in Manage Applicaions.
Can someone please help. Am I doing somethinhg wrong.
Thank you.

PocketMSN connection problems

I keep getting "Temporary conditions currently prevent connecting" when trying to access my Messenger or hotmail on TyTN with stock rom.
I get the message with every communcation method I tried (AS, WiFI, UTMS, GPRS...)
PocketMSN used to work for me on AS and Wifi but then I switched provide and created a new UTMS connection when everything stoped working.
I cleared my saved password, cleared my Hotmail account on the PocketOutlook but nothing helps.
Is there a way to check log or debug mode to see why it fails ?
Thanks

Windows live not working on HD2?

On my HTC HD2 after a random amount of time Windows Live will stop working. In Live messenger I get the message "The Wireless network is not available right now. Messenger is trying to re-establish a connecton".
When I try to sync my e-mail I get the message "Windows Live was unable to establish an Internet connection. Please check your Internet settings and make sure you have access to data services under your billing plan. If you need help, please contact your mobile service provider."
If I try the Sync button in the Windows Live application. It gives me the status Reconnecting. And then nothing else happens.
Every other service on the phone seems to be working. I've tried MSN Weather, Bing, Twitter. And all of them seem to work. It's just Live that has this problem.
The solution for the problem with Live seems to be to restart the phone. Can my problems at my provider cause this behavior? Shouldn't it be enough just to disconnect from the data plan to fix this error if it's a problem with my provider?
If there is a problem with a component in the phone, how can I figure out which component and fix that? Is there perhaps a log that I can look in and get a suggestion for what the problem is?

[Q] Can't login using my google account

Hi
I just bought a new asus transformer but I cant use my google account on it. when I try to add a new accoutn it says "Can't establish a reliable connection to the server"
Please help!
Thanks
1. You made sure WiFi is turned on, right? Just thought I would ask in case you missed it, there are some who might miss an obvious thing like that .
2. Do you have 2-factor authentication enabled for your Google account? If so you'll need to create a one-time password to login with instead of your regular password.
Hi
We have the same devices
I have tried doing that but I need google authenticator on the tablet and I cant download it from the market because I cant login
Am I missing something?
Thanks
OK
I managed to turn on 2 step verification and generate a password but when i try to add my account using that password it still does not work...
on my samsung galaxy s it took 2 seconds to authenticate...
What version of Honeycomb are you running? Perhaps updating to the latest version might help if you don't already have it? Also have you made sure you're close enough to your router to get a decent signal? Have you got any kind of internet access via WiFi at all on your TF (try opening a web page)? If not it might be a problem with the TF's WiFi, or you could just try again later in case it's a Google issue. Also when you said your SGS connected in just a couple of seconds was it connected to the same WiFi network as the TF, or did it connect over your mobile signal?
[EDIT]: Did you tweak the WiFi network settings on your TF at all? You didn't try to set a manual IP address, did you?

Bro, even I had the same problem when I installed it on my N4.
I had even mailed about the problem to the support section of Whatsapp, but they didn't responded.
So I switched to "VIBER" along with my friends.
whatsapp
I amongst many, with the same issue if you do a google search re whatsapp issue.
Not only can I not connect, but I did finally overcome that issue by downloading the newer version.
The other issue I experience with whatsapp is the delay in receiving messages. It seems the push service, is not running properly.
All this I have experienced since the update of Android 422.

If you can connect to other applications on your data network, but not WhatsApp, it could be that your mobile provider has configured your wireless access points to block certain chat applications. Try this if WhatsApp still will not work on data only:
Contact your mobile provider and ask them about different access point settings to run chat apps.
They will guide you through a process in which you will manually configure your data network and web settings.
Go to access point settings (APNs) and select TATA DOCOMO INTERNET apn or which ever service provider you use select Internet apn , your whatsapp will work.

I get an error whenever I try to run Google Play over WIFI

Since I bought my new Nexus 4, I haven't managed to run Google Play over WIFI.
It's very important to mention that my WIFI connection is completely fine, and I can surf the Internet without any problems.
Whenever I open Google Play as WIFI is turned on and connected, after a few seconds I receive the following error message: "Connection Timed Out" near a button which allows me to try again. This message is not shown if I turn off WIFI connection and connect my cellular internet network. If I don't use WIFI, I can run Google Play without any errors and download any application I want to download.
This is very very weird because my brother owns exactly the same device (Nexus 4) and he doesn't get any error messages when he's connected to the same WIFI connection. We both have kept the original Android stock rom, we both haven't rooted our phones and that's why I can't explain why only I get this message.
I have already googled about it and tried every suggestion I could find (For example: http://wccftech.com/fix-no-connection-retry-error-message-on-google-play-store-app). Nothing helped. I even tried to do a factory reset but it didn't change anything.
Does anyone know what causes this annoying problem? I don't know what to do anymore
* I don't want to root my phone and I don't want to replace the original ROM which came with my phone the day I bought it.
