"ve got a problem , i've flashed mij P3450 and everything is working accept for the sleep, the sleep timer is configured at 2 minutes but when it is supposed to go into sleep mode it resets.
Also when i press the power button at the top of the device it resets.
I've searched this forum, updated de IPL and SPL to 2.27 and 2.28 and that is not solving my problem.
It is getting me crazy tried for hours , flashed new ROm but windows is working OK , i can make calls with the device but the sleep mode is causing a reboot.
Can somebody help me out please.

Replying to my own post.
Because i have solved the issue.
I've downloaden the Device Info Tool and let it run on mij HTC P3450 and it seems to be and elfin instead of a elf.
I use the BLUEROM V.3.0 flashed is (after using USPL) and tested it and it now work like a charm, goed in en out of sleep without any problem.
So for all you guys having the same problem , look closely at what kind of P3450 you have and flash the right kind of rom in the device and it works.

As the title says, I have an Elf & when you press the power button (which is meant to turn the screen on and off) it shuts the device off instantly.
I first tried doing a hard reset
Then I tried another rom, to see if it was to do with the OS
& then I tried two other roms.
Ive still got the same problem.
Thinking of taking it back to the place I got it.
Anyone got any thoughts on any solution before I take it back?
Im thinking its a hardware problem that I cant really solve.
which spl are you using? I had a similar prob when i upgraded my rom to 6.1, but aftr using 3.07 spl, problems were gone..
I was using 3.07, but it doesnt matter now.
I took it back to the shop (with all accessories etc) and they replaced it for me. I feel bad about hastling them.
I took them an Elf, but apparently they have given me a Elfin, but on their system, they both just come up as p3450
But it works! thats the main thing.
and its gold and shiny.
Maybe somebody know how to solve this problem without turn elf back to the shop?)

I had exactly this problem before I knew I have an Elfin.
I flashed Elf Roms on my Elfin, that caused the problem.
It boots regularly, but it will do a soft reset every X
minutes. Then I flashed an Elfin Rom and everything
works fine ^^
Maybe I'm wrong, but i think its Elf. It has 64Ram & 128 Flash, or they may not correctly view after flash or i dont understand differences?
It boots regulary every X minutes because it goes to sleepeng mode if device is not using. If this option off, it will not boot by its own, only if i press power button(
Hello, i got a problem i got elfin and i flashed the onyx 1.4.6 jr. rom to my elfin,before i done a HSPL and now i got SPL=3.10cmon and IPL 2.20.0002 and my problem is that when i try to turn on it not always turns on,to this i need to give it to freezer and when i successfully turn it on it hangs up after few minutes almost about 10min,so my question is what should i do i done few soft and hard resets and don't work.
Check this thread out as you may be experiencing the same problem. I have recently read several threads with people having similar issues.

Ive got a Elf with AZERTY keyboard from Franse, so i thought flashing the ROM will undo my problem to set back to QWERTY, and it did. But now when i push the sleep button to swicht the screen off it restarts, or when it goes by it self to sleep mode it restarts too. So i want to flash it back to its original France Orange rom but i cant find it, anyone having the rom please let me know.
Ive tryed every singel other rom out there and every one of them have the same issue.
Someone with a FIX!? please let me know.

Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445666
Download the latest Hard-SPL and IPL, now flash it.
my problem was solved tnx to dsixda and the one from the above link.

EDIT:
Ive got the feeling there is something wrong in the Registration, because when i hard reset and its come up to where i can calibrate, it goes in sleep mode and comes out normaly. But when it configure it self and restarts, the same problem starts agian.

Hey, we have the same name (same spelling)!
What is your SPL version? Try to upgrade to a different USPL or Hard SPL.
I had this problem before when I flashed an Elf-only ROM (just the OS, not SPL/IPL etc.) onto my Elfin.

I have the msn account:[email protected] .Once again,just to make the resume of the whole story if I remember well:The trinity was with the initial sfr 300+ software(wm5);I installed the oli1.20 flashed it with some other ROM software,did not like it and returned to the original one.Then I tried to flash it with the ROM software where all went wrong...After 1 % the screen went blank and all I can do with the device is to put it into the boot-loader mode where it says:
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.07.0000
When I extracted the file,I discovered that it has 2 nbh-files.I think that is the reason of my defete.Afterwords I have tried all sorts of the first aid solutions : splxploit-windows cannot connect to the device;it says that there is no WCEUS-file and therefore it cannot continue.I have tried to re-flash it through the sd-card:I re-formatted the card on fat32,without any name,put the original ROM and tried to let it boot that way.No success,it marks:loading ... and after 3-4 secs it returns into the boot-loader mode with the same message mentioned above ...

1: Boot into BL (camera + power + reset hole)
2: Download the GPS enabled ROM from HTC Support, NOT from a rapidshare/megaupload/4shared etc.. mirror.
3. Flash the ROM, but use the hardspl flasher.(For some reason, it doesn't go error 270 if I use this flasher).
4. Hard Reset again.

I have a HTC P3600 and after i make a hard reset the screen goes all black, i already try flash the phone but don't result.
If i try to make a hard reset again the screen shows "press ok to make hard reset" after that goes black again.and its completing %100 but when i want restart its still doesnt work just black screen. just working light =(

Any chance of sharing the solution, guys, my SPV M700 has similar problems. I tried to flash it with the TRIN-SSPL rom, but it kept saying I need a newer version of the update software.
Now all I have is it gets stuck on the green Windows load up screen and when I reset (Camera-PWR Button-Reset) it goes onto the bootloader tri-color screen, similar to what Goranchen had on his. What do I do now, I would really like to use the phone on another network, and I have looked after it really well, I think, so would be a shame to throw it away. Please help!!

Now the device does not work at all ( Power + Soft reset + Bootloader ) does not work and also i can not charge the battery and Activesync synchronization with your pc.

Which was that ROM you tried updating?, at the end of updating did it display that it was installed properly into your device?. Have you properly tried going through the Tri-colour screen?
i have the same problem.
i dis the ELF_USPL after finished i turned off my pfhone and now when i try to turn it on my the light of my screen turns on and the it goes off active sync can`t connect anymore to my phone can somebody help me please?

Rom : HardSpl_WM6
Yes bootloader ( colour screen ) appeared from the beginning and the update was successful, but now the device does not work at all.
