Hello!I`m a user of HTC S740 (ROSE) and i want to coock a new ROM for this device but need some help because I`m new in such stuff.So far I managed to extract the XIP and SYS from emulator image for WM6.5 provided by Microsoft,what I need now it`s to disassemble the ROM image of Excalibur ROM coocked by ookba and extract the additional tweaks and software that he used in his ROM but the problem is that I do know how..
After this I want to coock a new ROM using the SDK of the WM6.5.3 and add the extracted tweaks and software to the image but another problem is that ROSE uses bought portrait and landscape and the image is only portrait?How to add also the landscape to the image?So if its somewhere there that knows and could help me do this..I would quite appreciate this

Hello forum its my 1st post and i have just bought a new htc touch hd and it came with manila 1.3 and i want to get to 2.5 because of al the new stuff you can get can anyone tell me how ive got the .cab on my storage card i just need to flash it to 2.5 an help ????

You can't get new Manila (Sense 2.5) just like that.
You have to flash new ROM...

If you have the manilla cab, you cant install that over sense. either flash to a sense rom, or flash to clean rom then install your cab. i recommend the first.
Also no disrespect to devs, but i find sense 2.5 slow on the touch HD. why not try out 2.1 which was designed for 528mhz. it is very similiar.

As said before me, you cannot change to a new manila by simply using a cab, you need to flash a rom with your desired manila on it. Use the Dummies Guide (sticky at top of forum) for step-by-step guide on how to flash a rom.

OPAL WM 6.1 Stock ROM Required

Hi All,
I am looking for Stock Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM for HTC Touch Viva A.K.A. Opal. I had found many threads with the link of the same but none of them are working. I have contacted HTC as well but seems like they won't provide it to me.
Anybody still have this ROM, please share the same either via a Torrent or some file sharing website. I will highly appreciate that.

I realize the hd2 forum is all but dead, but if someone is still around, I would extremely appreciate if someone could share some working links / upload somewhere some 6.5.5 roms to download and flash. I've just recently got a new hd2 and want to set it up as I had it back in the day with the latest fw to relive some pocket pc games. If someone could share docs and links for setting up a kitchen that would be super useful too.
I'd be uploading it all to various mirrors for preservation.

Hi,
If you still need something, i started an little project by archiving anything i could find on my hdd and the internet.
It currently has many stock wm 6.5 ruus aswell as a few android roms and hd2nand etc.
Also got the nand toolkit, drivers, cLK etc.

Haven't found any wp 7 roms yet so if anyone got any, please let me know.
