Hi All,
I am looking for Stock Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM for HTC Touch Viva A.K.A. Opal. I had found many threads with the link of the same but none of them are working. I have contacted HTC as well but seems like they won't provide it to me.
Anybody still have this ROM, please share the same either via a Torrent or some file sharing website. I will highly appreciate that.
I apologize in advance for starting a new thread, I found this is the only option.

First of all thanks for the help and support from this forum. without you i dont know what i will be doing with a windows mobile phone.
so to the topic - guys can anyone cook a windows mobile vanilla wm6.5 rom with the original htc ship rom album. i kinda like the circle to zoom feature and the rotate feature in the oiginal album. i have been trying to do it my self but couldnt get it to work. and i tried to overwrite the album.exe file with a file i found from this forum by searching which was said to work when over written but it says the program is in use and i tried other ways and got it overwritten but still it doesnt work. all my attempts have failed so i would like this very much thanks and i really appreciate the work you guys are doing.
No replies - i guess its not possible then. guys is there anyway i can get the original album on an already cooked rom like miris 6.5 rom.

Miris repository has the cab for that . Just install that and you have it
will i get the circle to zoom feature by doing this. thanks for the support drgopoos.

You need more than just WM6.5 to have the ROM on your phone and then you have all the flavours of WM6.5 to choose from. if you head over to http://hd.tsxclan.co.uk we have started reviewing releases from the major chefs here in a very easy to understand way so you can make an informed decision and has links to all the files you will require

The fixes provided worked in most 6.5 cooked roms, and all Leo roms even needed those. But I'm trying to use a 6.5.x rom in my Leo and I can't get UpToDate to work. The problem seems to be with netCF version and PIE, so I tried to found the differences between netCF in 6.5 and 6.5.x but didn't found anything. I was hoping if someone could help me with this, to understand if the problem is still in Shdocvw.dll or another file.

So, I've tried some roms and some netCF:
Under Dutty's Leo 23519 I've tried the stock 3.5.9085, with no sucess. So I installed .7283 and after .9198, and both didn't work too, with or without the other fixes posted in older threats.
So I flashed back Topix 21889, witch has .9198, and UpToDate worked with no problems.
I've also tried all those settings with IE as the default explorer, nothing...
Summary: I don't have even a clue for what can be holding the app to work normally, anyone has any idea?

install this file, it is for an older version of PIE. it works in all new roms that i have tried for blackstone including 24001

I recently found MIUI, a rom for android, which can be found by googling miui, And clicking on a website like miui android .com (I cant post links)
Looking through the device list, it doesn't seem to have HTC Touch HD (HTC Blackstone)
Searching for AGES!
Are there any MIUI roms downloadable for HTC Touch HD?

I realize the hd2 forum is all but dead, but if someone is still around, I would extremely appreciate if someone could share some working links / upload somewhere some 6.5.5 roms to download and flash. I've just recently got a new hd2 and want to set it up as I had it back in the day with the latest fw to relive some pocket pc games. If someone could share docs and links for setting up a kitchen that would be super useful too.
I'd be uploading it all to various mirrors for preservation.

If you still need something, i started an little project by archiving anything i could find on my hdd and the internet.
It currently has many stock wm 6.5 ruus aswell as a few android roms and hd2nand etc.
Also got the nand toolkit, drivers, cLK etc.
