HTC Magic be VERSION UPDATE

Hello,
Can anyone help me?
I have a HTC Magic proximus phone;
recenltly official message was that there would not be provided any updates on android for this phone.
But I really want to update my android version to the latest so i can use google navigation, talk, ...
Now i 'm running 1.5.

Is there any way to update this?
Please help me.

There is a STEP-By-STEP guide right on this site. I think it was in the development section for the Sapphire.

I just bought an almost new HTC HD2 with Win 6.5 and Android installed on the SD card. The problem is that Android is running really slow, clunky and buggy. Its so bad that its not usable yet I need my phone to work with T-Mobile and I love the HD2's huge display.
This is the version of Android on this phone. Can anyone please tell me by looking at the data below what the problem might be?

- Baseband version: 15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14
- Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-38116-g3af9a39-dirty

What exactly you mean? What must be supported? Write ALL what support you need.

Hi, as datasOft already mentioned, you're not going to be contacted by Skype, but on this thread. I think I can help you, but therefore I will need a bit more information:
1. Official HTC ROM version
2. Radio version
3. (H)SPL version (you can find that in bootloader screen in the upper left corner).

Wifi channels on 2.2 official rom

I have the latest official 2.2 rom that I have updated from the phone and from that time the wifi can't see channels 11 to 14.
Is there a way to fix this with out change rom.And if I must change wich rom is the most stable and workable

[Q]Its been a while since I've touched my HD2...

Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've last touched an HD2 (over 2 years to be exact).
But yeah, here's the situation at hand.
My sister recently bought a new phone, and with her HD2 just lying around, I thought it would be pretty cool to put ICS on it.
The problem is, I have not touched her phone since I last rooted it, and I have slept...a lot...since then.
I wanted to flash it to this one: NIGHTLY][Full HWA] CyanogenMod 9 [4.0.4][Kernel: cmhtcleo/tytung]
However I have no idea where to start...well asides from downloading the files...
I tried searching around, but I am pretty sure I am not searching correctly.
Anyways, the phone is the US version (PB81120) and currently has SPL-2.08.HSPL
eMAGLDR v1.11 is what is currently being used to boot the NAND.
Uhhh...am I missing anything?
I forget which version I installed for her, but here's the run down on the software information

Don't forget to thank the OP for this excellent guide.

Just follow this guide. You have to upgrade to MAGLDR 1.13. Also, that ROM is a nightly and is therefore likely to be unstable, perhaps NexusHD2 or IceCreamTosti or even ParanoidAndroid would do better. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against that ROM or anything and I'm sure it's great but I would question its reliability. T-Mac's guide to everything which shanman linked is great, it helped me out a lot at the start.
