Everytime I play this game called Zombie Defence, and when I press the home key, the phone freezes...
It shows the time, and the time does change, but it is completely unresponsive to touch.
I tried long holding the power button, and the power button vol down combo, and nothing worked.
I had to open up my case and pull out the battery.
Any help on how I can reboot without pulling out?
Stop playing the game? Maybe email the dev for support?

Does anyone else have an issue where the Nexus 7 hangs on the charging screen? My son has a bad habit of letting the thing run down until Android shuts down. When I plug the charger in it'll boot to the charging screen and then hang. It doesn't do the typical charging animation I'm accustomed to on other devices and I have do the long press on the power button to get it to reboot.

It used to happen to me too but the thing is that Nexus & uses Li-Ion battery, which means a long life cycle will kill the battery in a shorter lifetime, like laptops. So don't let him play with it until it shuts down. recharge the battery before it hits 50%. Next time when it shuts down, plug it in and let it charge while off for 2 hours then you can turn it back on.
So this is sort of a weird issue, and my tablet has only started doing this recently.
When the tablet completely runs out of juice I plug it in. For whatever reason when I plug it in it tries to start up - I get the Google screen, then the boot up animation, then I get my home screen. It's at 0% battery so a second or two after this happens it shuts itself down. Then it starts itself up again - Google screen, boot up animation, home screen, shut down. It continues to cycle like this as long as it's plugged in. And because it does this it never ends up charging. It just cycles endlessly.
I've tried holding down the power button while it's plugged in. It shuts off, then proceeds to start up again. I try unplugging it, shutting it off, then plugging it back in, and it tries to start up again. I never see the battery charging screen that's supposed to show when it's off but charging.
Sometimes I can get lucky and turn it off at just the right time to keep it from turning back on again, and I'll get the battery charging screen, but I haven't been able to this time around.
Anyone know why it insists on trying to start up when I plug it in? I'd actually rather it NEVER did this and have it turn on when I choose it to.
Whenever I switch off my S4 GT-19506,it will automatically switch back on by itself , gets stuck to the 'Samsung' boot logo and gets really overheat. My phone isn't rooted so may i know why its behaving like this?
My guess would be that your usb port is dirty. Probably some oxidated water or something.
Phone is turned off, put the phone on charge, the phone starts up the Android. Previously it just boot up to the battery charging animation...
