Where is the lock located at? ROM?
Isn't posible to unlock with the original firmware?
Where could I find more information?

I am looking for the same answer as you do, Realy love the phone however hate the software and would love to use an android ROM myself if its possible. I just did not fugure out how yet... I see it should be possible somehow, just not sure whether our model fits in there as well. And im not going to try out unless I am certain it's possible. I'm also interessed in an Android OS for B7620.
i have htc t8282 phone it's in french i want to change it into english i've been reading how to flash a new rom on the website i think i can do it but i have couple of questions
1= how do know the exact rom for htc 8282 phone?
2= my phone is currently locked do i need to unlock the phone first before flashing or cooking the new rom?

T8282 is an HD/Blackstone, it does not need to be unlocked but check this guide to make sure you don't brick your device. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377
and this ROM is a good place to start... but try a few to see which you like best.

1- The phone is locked on Telus (canada), I would like to know if there's any way to unlock/unbrand it ?
2- In the web I found some tutorials talking about installing Lollipop 5.0 on the phone, Is it a good choice ? will it unlock or unbrand it ?

Reading throw the forum I saw that maybe there would be a way with some particular custom rom or flashing the modem of the phone (?). I really don't know were to start but I want to learn and will keep looking on the forum for more info. Though if anyone of you has some suggestions, knows how to do it or knows some useful links to the forum or not I would really appreciate it!
