Hi Can anyone tell me how to check whether my PDA is locked to the 3 network Australia. I live in the country and there is no one I can ask for a sim to check. Also if it is locked can I unlock it to sell it. I'm not familiar with all the terminology or the expertise to do it, so layman's terms (step by step) would be appreciated. I have no idea if you haven't already worked it out.

Where is the lock located at? ROM?
Isn't posible to unlock with the original firmware?

I know that there are a couple of guides around here that should help us to be able to unlock the screen with the fingerprint scanner straight after boot, but they don't seem to be working on my S8.
There are some little differences between my values and the values written in these guides.
Is there anybody out here, who already managed to add this useful feature to its rom, that would be so kind to help me?
