Someone please give us a comprehensive how to install SNES roms on the HD2. I've looked everywhere and there's no tutorials or how-tos at all. We need working links for the emulator and roms. Or am i just stupid because the ones at morphgear.com get an error message when you try to open them. I would truly truly appreciate a walkthrough.
You are confused, you don't install SNES roms. Windows mobile roms are different. Install morphgear then put the SNES roms on your sd card. Launch morphgear and select the roms through that.
links?
Can anyone provide links for a working morphgear download. When i put it on my hd2 it says it's not a valid program or something to that effect.
um....ok
So apparently no one is willing to help?

I've searched over and over again, how can I re-add the standard mobile games with appropriate short-cuts... is there a cab?

Here ya go. You may need to add links but I can't say for sure.
Bubble Breaker, Solitare and short-cuts under Programs menu.... PERFECT, thanks. My son will be happy to have BubbleBreaker back!
No worries, glad to help.
install failed...
serfboreds,
I tried installing this .CAB on my newly upgraded 8525... using CRC's 9.1 (stable) WM6.1 ROM. For some reason it won't install to either the device or storage card... just says it cannot be installed. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I think there must be some problem with how the OS is different from the mogul. That is beyond me, sorry. I thought before that this was a universal cab that could be used on any wm5 and 6, but you may have found this to be untrue.
Any pros with input?
Next time you cook with dcd, check the Entertainment box near the top of the buildos screen, and you will have the games.

I need to track down the links to all the kitchen building stuff as well as instructions... that is my goal to get back to kitchen building like I did with my 6700.
Any hints to the links are greatly appreciated

Yeah, I might have to cook my own - I used CRC's default, which is loads better than the stock HTC WM6 ROM. This is my first adventure into cooked ROMs, so I didn't use dcd.
Thanks for the tip, I'll keep searching the forums for info!

It's all here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=385336
I have tried tirelessly to get Nintendo games put on my phone. I've googled tried step by step Youtube videos (Albeit for the Dash) to no avail. Is there anyway possible anyone could give a detailed step by step how to download emulator and such. Thanks in advance.
This is "rom developement" lol
But anywayssss, you can download pocket nester here
http://freewareppc.com/utilities/pocketnester.shtml
It is freeware and it works great. Only thing is that you will need to get nes roms from some unspoken places....
Good Luck

My apologies on my noobness. I thought this thread went here. Another question though. I have the updated (From T mobile) Wing. Do I have to do some app unlock thing before doing so and if so, how do I do that? Thanks again .
nope, you dont have to do any app lock. Just instal the cab file and load up the nes games and you are ready to go. You might consider flashing a custom rom from the forum so that you have better performance. Ram can run pretty low on the stock t-mobile rom.

Thanks again and hopefully this'll be my last question. at the link you sent me to it gave me five things to download. Do I need to download all of them? Can I download them to my card?
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=71201&package_id=70691&release_id=193104
you just need to download the arm version. And yes you can install to storage card. Just select storage card when you are prompted
Hello,
i wondered wether i need to be a computer genius to cook my own rom. On all the roms you get tons of apps, and I want to make one with as good as no extra apps (just some basic ones like youtube and opera). I downloaded the ervius kitchen, but what do i need to start? Do i have to download a sort of 'master rom' in which you can disable things you dont want?
Thanks in advance,
Kapie
Im watching the youtube tutorial by lion75y, and i need the stock rom. I bought my device second handed, and i am not able to download it from the HTC homepage. Is the blackstone stock rom available somewhere else? I've searched around on the forums, but i couldnt find it...

To be honest mate there is plenty of guides or kitchens to help you. Try typing in "kitchen" or "cooking" into the search and see what threads appear
Also, this may be a good place to start

Hi
Using HTC Leo with Windows 6.5 from US T mobile.
Was able to boot to Android twice using Haret.exe. Booting into Android had pattern lock (which was never set previously) or google account (no one used Android on the device). Removed the battery and booted into Windows 6.5, not sure of the Android version copied on the device.
Am now unable to boot into Android again, it stops at jumping to kernel... need to remove battery to boot into Windows.
Am a novice and need your detailed expert assistance.
Appreciate your guidance.
Rgds..
Zac
Hi Zac, welcome to the forum.
Did you buy the device with an android build on the sdcard? Else how do you not know which android rom is on it?
What is the folder name which has haret.exe in it and what other files are in that folder?

My cousin used it in USA and gave it when visiting. He never made any changes on the device - did not even know Android folder existed. I was browsing through the CD card contents and found it.
It is on my Storage card under Android folder- has CLRCAD and HARET exe files.
Thanks
i would forget about using that android folder and either choose another one from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/hd2-android/sd-dev
or choose to install a rom using NativeSD method, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1986437
or perhaps get rid of wm6.5 altogether and install android or wp7
best of luck

a working link to which particular rom?
we have an unwritten rule that says do not ask "what is the best rom" since that is a personal choice. So i won't just give you a link to my fav(s)
some links are old and not working, if i have the rom on my hdd i can usually upload a mirror for it, or someone else might if requested to in the thread, unless the OP (original poster/post) of the rom thread specifically states "no mirrors". It is usually worth searching the thread for "mirror" and reading the last few pages, as someone may well have already posted a mirror.
