First X2 rom released, we need experts to decrypt it and dump it !!

Ok, from the thread below you can download the official x2 rom, since lots of x2 goodies work on other devices it'd be nice to dum it, yet it seems it is encrypted differently than normal htc nbh files.....
So if anyone skilled and talented is interested go ahead and download it....and ofcourse keep us updated !!

The X2 bits released were from a dump from someones phone, not from the actual rom. This will be better as we might be able to get cabs/ oems from this.

Exactly as buchman said.....what we have now is missing lots of files which make stuff unstable....things would work much better out of a dump....you could have at least clicked the link before flaming....bffff

It's ok really simple misunderstanding, and btw the dudes down at the x1 forum are doing a gr8 job....rumor has it 88 cabs have been extracted

in my dreams it would be like sony: hey sorry you guys to hear that. we did't think so many people want to have root. so here you go, donwload attact file en instal to your phone and you have root. but you will lose your warranty, so be carefull.

Hi Everyone,
I will be straight to the point. There are no plans to allow root access on the the Xperia™ X10.
I won't go into the reasons why, many have be touched on already.
Many of you have requested answers to a lot of these "Hot Topics" (Satio, X10 update, etc) and I don't always have those readily available. Sometimes when I am ready to post, we still need to check with the right people, these things take time
Regardless, this is the answer on this issue, I hope you can respect the information and continue to feel free to discuss this and any other topics on this forum.
As always, you can reply to this post or PM if needed.

I know I`ll be definitely banned for this post, but I think justice should come the first.
From latest posts in this forum I found that our Mod is trying to stop progress in this development forum. I`m not trying to explain here what is made right or what wrong. Just for my opinion our respectable Mod is taking a sides - what he/she not suppose to be do. Lot of good latest suggestions are banned because people who are against it and mr. Mod are from same country. Please, superior members/officers do not allow this.
Please forgive me if I`m wrong (at least in this case I`v deserved a little explanation I think).

1. You're supposed to send to a Senior Mod.
2. Would you like to see tons of threads that have nothing to do with the forum section?
I wouldn't. He/She's not taking sides by closing threads. Plus, development on our G3 isn't slowed down by haree. So no. I think this thread is irrelevant.

But closing threads that are very useful for all of us just because there are some doubts ... com on - I don`t see a good explanations...
And I think these actions are affecting developing.... this is why this post is in this thread .... or should it be in Themes and Apps?

This post shouldn't even be alive. Either way, it's supposed to be in General Section.
This is all people need to look at.

this info is not just for the OP but all
when u take a specific post from me u should read all that has happen in the thread and u will see the reason why it was posted by me
Note : im keeping this thread open for any body who has any issues on me
and then ill call a senior to see it and take a decision on the same

yea i have to agree there realy isnt anything wrong with what haree is doing....
those threads are sapposed to go to general or the Q&A thread....
i cant blame him for doing his job
and haree maybe u should move this thread to general too??
and one more thing guys pls dont start making roms that are just like each other
i mean if it has a new feature or realy does improve performance of the phone (like 3d games maybe ) than go ahead but if its just a cool theme or just 1 small feature pls just post it seperatly( not a rom) dont post roms just for the heck of it pls

I fully agree with this, there are few roms out there with nothing new except the theme n the name...if some has to offer a feature don't make a complete rom just post the feature and how to. That would be better and much more open source.

i always keep a min of 1 week redirect on threads i move

And to the op:
If you have problems with some one or doubt their actions its better you pm them n get to know why, starting a thread for it is completely meaningless and mods are not selected randomly they are carefully selected by seniors. And as far as I know mods consultant each others before closing a thread.
Keep peace sort our your private issues/doubts through pm don't make it a public issue.
