HELL is our 2.1 update? the droid is getting theirs today. what the heck is sprint doing here? sorry but this gets me upset.

You bought an Android 1.5 phone. Consider yourself lucky that it's coming at all.

really? Because one single phone has been updated to 2.1 when the company's aren't even contractually obligated to provide an update, you think there's a reason to be upset?

Droid does not have Sense UI that needs to be integrated.

i have but id rather wait for the final then a custom rom. i just don't know whats taking sprint soo long?

dont do that use subject again.. like this "where the....." please use full subject so we can read it and avoid to go here... This is testing side not whining site.. what a waste!

DC 2.0r2 is based on the Official Sprint Rom. I am sure this leaked rom is on the final stages right before the official release.

?????? wasnt this what everyone here including the evo 4g mod, toast has been waiting for? pretty sure hes a dev....btw if not dev, then where should this go in your opinion? themes? without dev this would go nowhere. I think op is justified in posting here. no offense to biles @ all i like your tuts for those that are just beginning and taking the time to do that is great and very helpful to teach those with questions.

w00t, cant wait to see a full stable froyo rom ported to the evo with working cameras and all.

It is in the right place however it would be nice if people checked to see if anyone else had already posted about it...

No, it's not. We're waiting for HTC to release their source... Which includes Evo-specific device drivers.

Sweet. Now all we need is the evo source and we will have a working froyo ROM.

I'm very impressed from the first Desire HD GUI Screens. Will there be a build for the HD2 soon? Is the ROM available, yet?

Can you tell us what kind of improvements one might expect? in terms of compatibility with hd2?

i don't understand some people at all maybe its me but, why can't you happy with the work the guys do to get a.droid running on hd2 now wait and look at the posts instead of asking as soon as a new product is launched....when will this be done when will that be done. the guys do a stunning job and do it as a hobby i guess they don't get full time pay for it

Devs here dedicate their own free time to crunch out the ROM's, if you are so impatient no one stops you to tackle 2.2 on your own.

Haven't you already bricked three phones?

Feel free to drop some mad froyo science on us. I'll flash it. Otherwise I'm perfectly content waiting for Euguene or Sombionix to give us something actually worth waiting for.

I visit the forums almost daily and there is always somebody spewing the same "if you don't like it then make your own" statement. You guys are as bad as the people asking about new roms and 2.2. The OP has a legitimate question and he wasn't rude about it either.
I'm curious too is this because the need more then the source or are they just trying to finish up the builds they were working on before the 2.2 source came out.

LOL you guys really expect developers to drop what they were already working on just because 2.2 source was released and on top of that it was released a week ago you really think there would be a 2.2 ROM out so quickly...be realistic.

I think the devs still need the source code from vibrant froyo or vibrant froyo itself.... this is due to the differences in hardware between vibrant and international galaxy s

No, it's because they're on a message board that they can say anything they want.
You ask a legit question, but if you've spent any time on these boards you should know that a "Where's Froyo?" thread is going to get hammered. And if you didn't know that, you should go to the Development forum and find out where Froyo is. From my understanding, Eugene373 is going to drop a build soon.

Go follow any one of excellent chefs/architects that work on the vibrant. They seem to work endlessly in putting out new content and in fact eugene had posted a few times on his twitter about 2.2 and its coming along.
Do a bit of outside research and you'll get your information. There is a Jp3 froyo in the development section as well.
Its a legitimate question but common sense and just basic browsing of the dev thread would have given you a clear answer.

Validus is looking for a dev to build a rom for the NOTE4. Any takers??? Its a great Rom, which I believe we can benefit from.

Not my source. I asked on g+ about a ROM for tmo note4, they don't have a dev to build from there source. I run it on my note3, it's a great tom, nice themeing too.
