Basic concerns about Aria - HTC Aria General

Alright, guys, I really like Aria, but have a few concerns:
1. Can someone explain what it means to "root?" I did a wiki-XDA search and found nothing. I guess it means that the Aria can be flashed?
2. Apparently, the Aria won't allow voice command on BT. This is a kiss of death for me. Is it possible that xda developers can remedy this?
3. With an HVGA screen, will apps for VGA, QVGA, WVGA, etc. work?
4. Will Cookie Monster's Sense home screen mod work on the Aria?
I have the Fuze now and love its footprint. The other phones are just too darned big to put in my pocket.
Thanks in advance.

1. Basically when you "Root" a phone it means you basically get full access to everything on the phone even if for instance AT&T doesn't want you to uninstall their apps or install non market place apps. Even though there's still a way to install non market place apps on this phone fairly easy, but rooting will make it easier.
2. Not totally sure, if it's an actual issue where the Android OS can't do it then rooting it wont solve this. But if AT&T makes it so yu can't to it then yes rooting would solve the problem.
3. Most apps scale to all screen sizes. On the Android market for instance, it only shows you apps that support your screen resolution and OS version. The only problem I've had with the resolution is when I tried to install Dungeon Hunter it was kinda messed up.
4. Not totally sure sorry ;-(

Thanks for the feedback, CT; very helpful. I've been a WM guy for a long time and just learning about Android.
We'll see if anyone knows about #2 and #4.

I don't know if Cookie's home tab has an android port, but i recall reading that he won't support HVGA screens. Cookie does his development with the HD2 in mind.

Does the Aria have a large enough screen to allow the top row of Quick Links to appear without scrolling up?
Can someone include a photo of their home Sense screen?
Much appreciated.

From my understanding bt voice commands is a limitation of Android itself, not the phone.

I find that unbelievable given the value of BT voice commands. Do voice commands work with the corded ear piece that comes with the Aria?
Is this a problem for all Android phones?

voice dialing by button press/hold on a bluetooth headset is currently not possible with stock android nor is it possible with any variation or app that i know of.

Whats the compatibilty like with WM apps?

Might seem a silly question, (Forgive me if it is!!) but how do older WM apps work with the non-standard screen size of the X1? Will I find standard QVGA and VGA applications that will just fail to work?
If they do work... does it scale the displays in most cases to full screen, or leave "bars" top and bottom of screens?
This will help my decision on X1 or Touch Pro!

i really want to know this too.
This is really difficult to answer. Every app that i ran on my touch pro works on my xperia with the exception of emulators but there is a fix for that. I haven't run into any problems software wise.
Some will and some won't... I know it's not a definitive answer, but finding any software that works first time is pot luck to be honset.
There are so many different versions of each piece of software that it's sometimes difficult to track down a version that works.
Most apps that don't run full screen work fine, like file explorers etc. Full screen apps don't always fare so well. Games and emulators usually work ok if they're made for a VGA screen, the ones that are updated frequently should be ok as the developers have already added functionality for higher resolution screens.
I've got the ScummVM emulator to work, and in landscape it leaves a chunk at the right hand side of the screen that still shows WM icons/whatever application you have running in the background.
There's a fix to blank out the bottom part so that it's black all the time, but even this leaves me with a couple of lines visible at the right hand side of the screen.

No issue w/ Igo8 on my side. Check my signature as I did some test and review on X1. So far, I don't have any real issue yet w/ lots of software I tested.

What is WMob like without a stylus/direction pad?

i'm dying to get the HD2, but I've never yet had a phone that didn't have either a jog dial / rollerball / direction pad or some way of moving around the screen without just using touch...
you Blackstone owners are the guys in the know - i guess you've had the HD for a year or so - how do you find it? Do you wish you had a hardwarde key to scroll around the screen while browing etc? It always struck me that without a direction control a touch screen definitely became a two-handed device whereas with a jog-dial or similar one is enough for most things.
be great to hear some views - Thanks!
hey... I thought I will miss the direction pad when i first went for the HD, but I didnt... (maybe the first week only when I was allready used to use the D-pad on my Polaris)..
As far as the stylus is concerned, I hardly use it as well... I mean i use it only when i text somebody, simply because i want to text faster without pressing the wrong letters, but with a bigger display on the HD2 I can't see this being a problem... I don't text a lot so its not a problem for me... To be honest I used it a lot more on my Polaris on the smaller display...
Now you know is down to the individual and what you use on a daily basis... WM6.5 is created as such you will not need the stylus a lot... As for browsing I use it one handed, scrolling with my thumb.
take care

Think most people would agree with me and state they wished the HD had a d-pad, however with the latest roms available and some extra apps installed like AEBPlus (for directional up & down) you can manage without a d-pad or stylus for everyday use. Unfortunately when it comes to games you are very limited and without this excellent sites dev's most games would be useless for the HD. Thankfully if you search the apps, software & games forums you should be able to find a d-pad usable for games.
I was however a little disappointed that the HD2 doesn't have a d-pad (or drivers) as I thought HTC may have learnt, obviously not

That's true, but with the capacitive screen of the HD2, you can't use a stylus at all,so not needing it much is still a big problem. This is paticularly true if you use Office mobile a lot like I do or want to accurately cut and copy text.

What does cut&paste have to do with the stylus? Is there some feature I don't know of?

Well - I don't agree at all! Screen size is everything - and if the HD2 had a DPAD, the screen would have to be smaller... I can't think of a single situation where I would need a DPAD! What do you need it for?
And concerning the OP: I use the device with one hand most of the time as well... When texting, I can use my thumb (or both thumbs if I want to type faster) without problems. The same applies to scrolling. The only problem I have is with older WM builds with the start menu icon in the top left corner - it's hard to stretch the thumb all the way across the screen - but with newer builds (6.5.1) the start menu has moved to the bottom. So that problem is going to be taken care of!

It is much easier to select text with your stylus in order to cut or copy text. It is more precise, as mentioned on an earlier post.

If you had read my post I was hinting at a d-pad for gaming.......everyday use I don't need it, but for gaming, thats a different matter for a lot of people.
An optical pad is not that big. No need to cut the screen size.
The difference is such like hard keyboard and touch keyboard.
quite some people cannot live without a hard keyboard.

Ah - ok! I thought there was some special way to copy and paste using the stylus. Yes: That's very true. Text selection is alot easier with the stylus. That would be an issue they'd have to address on the HD2. Isn't there some zoom & select feature on the iphone? That would make alot of sense to me...

Ok - some games do require a DPAD. But many new games will not, specifically because devices like the HD and the HD2 do not have one. Also, as I've said: screen size is everything to me. I don't really care for games (there are enough good games working without a DPAD) and prefer a bigger screen. And that was my point: Your post began with the sentence "Think most people would agree with me and state they wished the HD had a d-pad" and I just wanted to reply: I don't!
I only use the stylus when I play solitaire and surf the web; clicking links could be quite an annoyance without a stylus.

No probs, but I actually agree with you. I don't really use the stylus at all any more and I'm not into gaming that much either, but there has been a lot of development in the software forum for a d-pad for games not specifically designed for the HD so there is still a demand for a d-pad.

Think this is were some of the improvements in the HD may really shine with the new capacitive screen. Hopefully this will make browsing more like the iphone experience...or hopefully better again. Only time will tell.

Regarding the zoom thing.. I saw a video the other day where igo8 was running on HD2, and the guy would pitch and zoom on the map, but it seemed as the whole program was zoomed in, not just the map. If this is true and it can be achieved in other programs then selecting text won't be (that much of) a problem...
IMHO, having no D-pad is a major pain, particularly with single handed contact's selection and controlling music FF,play, pause, skip without having to pull it out of your pocket, turn the screen on and do it there.....it really is such a backward's step for what I've just said, its not even debatable in my eye's
Have tried a couple of games with the onscreen controls briefly and thats as much as I ever want to try it....I thought it was useless.....missing D-pad's is one of the biggest backward's step's with most newer model's for me.
Stylus is my reason for using WM, if it didn't have it, I wouldn't use it, high res screen's with small text and icon's, precision, clean screen, faster typing [for me]...stylus is windows mobile imo, although the shell's and interface add on's have made them much more useful without a stylus...what's the point, might as well buy one of the other three major mobile OS's as you lose the benefit's of point precision combined with dense data and high resolution.
The stylus is less of a pain on the diamond and HD because pulling it out also turn's the device on, although I would prefer it top mounted than the bottom.
My 2 cent's anyway.
Regarding text selection on the HD2:
http://pocketnow.com/software-1/selecting-text-on-the-htc-hd2
in that video he says that new text selection functionality is only available in the HTC Sense part of the UI, and not in the basic Windows Mobile bits... which is a shame.
The main use of a direction pad / rollerball for me is selecting links while browsing, esp where there is a long vertical list of links to chose from - using my G1 if i don't use the rollerball I am always hitting the wrong one (and I don't want to zoom in just to select a link!).
Having switched to Android, the only reason I feel like giving WMob another go is the specs on this thing - primarily the RAM, which is just awesome. I guess that given that most of the new ultra-high-end android devices that I am chosing between are similar in not having any other form of input other than the screen (htc rachel, acer liquid etc) I guess it shouldn't alter my choice much.
I think the real deciding factor is that the HD2 is going to be the first one that is actually going to make it to the market and the fact that i am eligable for an upgrade is burning a hole in my pocket!

Couple of Questions I haven't found answers to yet...

Hello,
I've seen a few videos scattered about for the HD2 and none of them seem to have gone through a few things that I was wondering about.
Is the Windows Calibration the same as normal Windows Mobile phones, the 4 dots in each corner at the beginning. Or does it have a really good calibration like my HTC Hero where you click every key on the keyboard?
Are there Visual Bookmarks? Handy if you have bookmarks with similar names
Can someone post a video of the Keyboard actually in use? I've had a few issues in the past with laggyness of WinMo keyboards and really wondered if it compares to the Hero which has a really quite nice keyboard to use.
Any help is much appriciated. Thanks
capacitive screens doesnt need calibration, it is like your Hero.
Yes, you have visual bookmarks
I dont remember an specific video, but you have a lot of them and all says that there are no lag in the input keyboard

Cheers for that, but my Hero does have calibration on it for the keyboard as most capacitive screens have like the iPhone also. Its in the Text settings and you have to touch every key on the keyboard.
Good to hear there is no lag though. Wonder if this is gonna take off as much as the HD did with the screen being so big, can imagine this will put a lot of people off.

I *love* it.. don't get me wrong.. but these are my gripes after one day, and I can't find any clear answers searching the forums.
the flipping clock.. literally.. it is annoying. how do you disable the clock animation? (I found a thread for this with a .cab file, but it wasn't proven to work on the Tmo USA version)
Opera will not let me click on links. this sucks all the way around- I can't go anywhere online on this huge beautiful screen. I refuse to use IE cuz.. well, it sucks on any platform.
the facebook app blows. (the only thing I miss about my iphone- so far) and I don't care for the touch.facebook.com or m.facebook.com cuz I can't click on links in Opera.
my earthlink and gmail emails were up and running in no time. but I had one hell of a time setting up my work email. we have our own domain- I had to set up the email through my t-mobile.com and then set it up on the device. as far as I know, it's all working fine now.
I have a mac. I used syncmate- I don't use activesync, but can't figure out a way to disable it- always running in the background. I do run XP through Parallels- but I don't use Outlook, so activesync is of no use to me.
why can't All Messages be the default screen for sms/mms tab? same for email- inbox list please?
typing- I don't like xt9 cuz I don't want word suggestions, but I do want spell check. I enabled the spell check with abc, but it doesn't do it.
I un-checked the box for "notify of open wifi networks" but it still tells me all about them.
whenever I restart, I have a voicemail and txt notification- but no voicemail, and some random txt message, and it takes the led notification a few minutes to clear out.
after coming out of a locked screen, apps are open and active that were not when I locked it.
anyone know of updates or easy fixes? I don't have the opportunity to start messing around with different ROMs for a few weeks...
I find the phone to be a buggy mess, wait for an update from HTC/Tmo hopefully or flash it.

You'll be waiting a loooong time. The best option (for the adventurous) is to simply flash one of the TMOUS compatible ROMs found here.
the clock flip cab will work.the only thing that will work on all other hd2s but not on yours is the ..51.. radios. in all other respects the phones are identical.
I know what you mean man. Previously to this phone, I had a iPhone 3GS 32gb which I traded for this phone. I had a lot of the same gripes as you have now. 95% of them probably can be fixed by HSPL'ing your phone and then flashing a different ROM on it. I am on the ATT network and so a lot of the apps that were on the phone I didn't need or use as they were meant for TMO users. So I flashed my HD2 with Kumar's lite rom. Not only did it stop a lot of the bugginess (stalling, freezing, random closing of apps, etc) but it made it a lot quicker. Might want to try that and see if it helps. The clock flipping was annoying as all hell so I just installed the cab to disable it.
I tell my friends who know me pretty well as being an iPhone addict that if the iPhone and HD2 were weapons, the iPhone would be a surgical knife. From the sleek look of the case to the smooth transitioning of the OS makes using it so easy. It doesn't have a lot of speed but with the thousands of apps and fluid movement within the phone, it feels great.
Now the HD2 on the other hand is like a broadsword. You have to put a lot of effort into getting it to do what you want it to do. With the 1ghz processor and 576mb of ram, it can do maul down anything you need it to. The HD2 you can't just pick it up and expect to use it to its fullest potential. It takes a lot of patience to learn your way around the phone. With the iPhone, you jailbreak it and modify it to be more aesthetically pleasing to your eyes and to your fingers. If you have ever just cruised cydia, you will notice not much is there in the way of performance modifications. Mainly just apps and packages that let you change how the phone moves and works for you. The roms, cabs, and registry tweaks you perform on the HD2 are more performance based I have noticed. Yes there are some cabs to help you disable or enable things but right off the bat it seems like you have to modify it. I attribute this to Microsoft's laziness in creating an OS that can perform as well as not crash at the same time.
But while you are waiting for that "oh so needed" port of Android, try kumar's rom. It might just be what you need.
I knew what I was getting into as far as WinMo is concerned... I've been reading the forums on many different sites getting ready for this.
the one thing I am not finding: absolute n00b, specific, clear, step by step instructions on how to do the hspl. I've jailbroken and rooted before- I was as nervous then and just don't wanna mess up. As I recall, you cannot flash via Parallels. You can with Bootcamp. I do it all the time on my MacBook Pro via XP sp3.
As a Mac user, I find that Missing Sync is great, but the iTunes integration is not the best. To transfer music, I use doubleTwist. I disabled the music sync plugins in Missing Sync, as I found that they did not do as good a job as doubleTwist. The two together has been fantastic.
I had the same opera problem here is how I fixed it
Download this on your windows computer
http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/
Do this
HKLM/controlpanel/pen and change the value of 'Hide' from 1 to 0.
Soft reset, then go settings tab - menu - all settings - system and you should see screen settings icon.
Then go to screen settings and enable "clear type"
that makes the fonts look better
now do this
Enable Clickable Links in Zoomed Out Opera
This reg edit allows you to tap on a link without the need for zooming in first.
HKLM/Software/Opera/Info/az_overview_threshold
Change value from 64 to 32
thats why you can't click the links, it wants you to be zoomed all the way in, the above fix, fixes that problem easily
Also search for the cab, duttys task manager, its excellent
Where is the clear type setting, is that in Opera... just for 9.7? I'm running 10 anything comparable there?

The XT9 keyboard sucks hard. It doesn't auto correct nearly as well as the iPhone. I turn it off. Fortunately for me, 3 years on an iPhone has made me proficient enough at typing on a touchscreen, and I hardly make mistakes on it anymore. There are alternative keyboards out there that people are using, but I haven't tried them yet. Swype apparently works really well, but again, I'm accustomed to typing on a touchscreen.

I haven't had any of these problems. Most of the problems you're having are attributable to the stock ROM. Once I flashed the rom, things started running perfectly. Its a pretty easy process...just as easy as updating the firmware on the iPhone, and it only takes about 10 minutes. Its A LOT easier than jailbreaking an iPhone.
Other than that, most of the problems I've encountered were fixed with cabs (even prior to flashing the ROM). Hopefully people will chime in on other fixes, but if not, search is your friend.

An analogy that I used in another topic is that if the iPhone and HD2 were cars, the iPhone would be the automatic, the HD2 would be a stick-shift.
The 'automatic-iPhone' appeals to a wide variety of people because its a simple, intuitive device. Most people can pick it up, and figure it out right away. If people find something is lacking on the iPhone, they can easily access the App store and hopefully find what they need. Having gone from a windows mobile phone to the iphone and back to a windows mobile phone, I realized eventually that a lot of the Apps on the iPhone are adding functions that are innate in windows mobile...and while the iPhone Apps are prettier, they usually don't have as much function/utility as they would on WM.
The 'manual-transmission HD2' appeals to power-users who want to get a lot of use from there phone, are somewhat technical, and those who realize that by tinkering a little bit, they can customize the experience completely to suit their needs. Windows Mobile is more cumbersome to use initially, and isn't as intuitive, but once you get the hang of it and learn how to manage your resources, you can capitalize on how much more quickly you can jump between tasks, and flat out how much you can do on this device. Sense does a great job of streamlining your core functions (phone, text, email, twitter etc) and I really like how you can check these things very quickly. Its also nice to know that if I ever need to 'pop the hood' and tweak some things underneath it, I can.
The point is, it may not work perfectly for you initially, but you can tweak it to work perfectly. With the iPhone, a lot of functions are kinda half-assed, and I missed the 'mobile PC' functionality of the HD2....my main gripe with the old Wm phones is that the hardware couldn't keep up with the software...not an issue with the HD2.
if this were a BlackBerry, I wouldn't have started this thread... but it's a WM device, I've only had a Treo before, and didn't really get into changing anything about it, and then gave it up for BlackBerry, which I did tweak, and the MT3G, which I did root and tweak and ROMs and everything.. I never did anything but jailbreak and unlock the iphone so I could use it on TMobile
I don't know how to do the hspl or change registries... install a .cab? no problem.. but I can't find clear instructions on how to do the hspl and the install a new ROM.
and- I'm on a mac... running XP through Parallels for all purposes.
if someone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

You won't be able to safely/effectively flash ROMs via Parallels. I would not do it, because there are reports of bricked HD2s via VM flashes. It's safer to use Bootcamp. That's what I do. I have an XPsp3 partition with all my phone stuff there (Radios, ROMs, MTTY, HSPL, etc.) and it works like a charm.
so I found a thread with noob instructions.. looks like I'm gonna have to fire up the old HP in the corner.

[Guide] Fully working android guide :)

Hey guys, this post is just my way in saying thanks for all the help all of you guys have given me and for making it possible to have android on my HD2
Basically I have been doing some testing and have come up with a combination of things you can do to give yourself a fully working android build Ofcorse some of the information I had to test with was provided by other members but this combination I think is flawless, well at least it is for me ^^.
To begin you’re going to want to get the right WM rom for your android, and after testing I found the best one to be
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=734238
I have not had any problems with it. Just flash it to your device and let’s go from there.
Next your going to want to do something allot of members do not think of doing, and that is formatting the SD card PROPERLY, as this eliminates allot of problems for various reasons. The correct way to do this is, boot yourself into Linux, Ubuntu is the easiest in my eyes, and you can get it on a live CD or USB so it’s easy to get into, just boot into Ubuntu plug in your SDcard and its better if you can insert it via an SDcard slot in an adapter. Then format it as FAT not FAT32, I wont explain why this is better, but it will. Check this out if you really want to know why you need to do it ^^ but you don’t really need to know
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=750780
Next thing is your android build. Now there are ALOT of builds that work well but there is only one that I believe can give you a real working android experience, and the next part of this guide is based on this build so I suggest you use it .
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=740963
Ok, so you have got your build on your card you have booted into it and it’s ready to go, right? Not yet. One of the most annoying things that occur in android under the HD2 is the random freezing and this is how I removed this pesky little annoyance.
1. Unlock your screen and hit the settings key (windows key)
2. Hit settings
3. Hit Cyanogenmod Settings
4. Hit User Interface
5. Scroll down to Accelerometer rotation
6. Make sure ONLY 90 degrees is ticked!
7. Done
Now that setting is how I have managed to eliminate the problem, but don’t worry if you still have this issue, just go back into the Cyanogenmod settings and turn off 90 degrees and then under display turn off Auto-rotate screen, this should eliminate the problems but then your screen wont rotate automatically so its swings and roundabouts really ^^
Top Tips!
DONT use live wallpapers, they WILL kill your battery and drastically decrease the performance of your HD2!
Turn off the GPS as it is on by Default, it drains battery ALOT and isn't necessary most of the time ^^
Get the XDA app because its mega? And you suck if you don’t!
Calibrate the Gsensor, it will reduce the screen freezes (that’s if you even have them, witch you shouldn’t after this guide: P)
Finally, always remember that you should turn off your phone to charge it OR have it booted into WinMo, allot of reasons why you should do this but again just do it
Hope this helped someone somewhere Its my first real post that gave something back to the community and I AM a noob hehe, so any addition to this guide is welcome ^^ Again thanks allot all you guys at XDA that made this possible and I will keep this updated as necessary
Thanks allot. Dane.

Well if your looking at this guide, you probably already have HardSPL :l and even if you didn't when you take a look at the ROM pages it explains it there, so I don't think its very productive or helpful to post random crap like that :l And as for the radio, i tested several radios and it didn't make any difference TO ME but if you really want to know the radio i am running its, 2.12.50. Happy now ?

I think it's incredibly important to post that here.
Imagine someone sees an HD2 with android or hears about it from a friend, does a quick google search and finds this thread.
They come in here looking for a quick fix for android....
They could end up bricking their device or something....

/sigh, what are you trying to do here ? cause problems.if you had never even heard about android on HD2 you take one look at the writing in this post and think WHAT, it says things like Flash it to your device and lets go. you wouldnt know how to flash or even what it meant, so you couldn't even brick your device as you would not know how :l Please stop filling up this thread that i made to HELP people not argue with some guy who keeps coming up with random crap that is not going to happen, and i am not being unreasonable by saying that and i am sure many other members will agree im not in the wrong.

Unfortunately still having the screen freezes, even after toying with CyanogenMod settings.
Back to the waiting game then.

Did you turn off all the screen rotation under cm settings and normal settings and did you calibrate the Gsensor these things can also resolve the problem, you can also disable the Gsensor in WinMO and this will cure your problem but thats not reccomended ^^ Give those suggestions a try, again hope it works for you.
Dane.
Are we allowed to start a poll asking people which mainstream rom they're using just so we know what is the most common and popular rom is,? Or is it a taboo?

I turned all the screen rotation off. Since I'm using ChuckyDroidROM, the gsensor calibration is removed.
In android, it worked for a while but tilting it continually in Gallery3D caused a freeze.
I wish I could disable the theming on shubCRAFT, it's the only thing that puts me off using it.
I think that if you look at this thread you will see

that this method is a lot of trouble for no additional benefit over a simple format using WinMo in the phone. If you would "explain why" it would be interesting because no one else can. A full WinMo format, not quick, overwrites the complete data space on an SD card with new redundant data. It also only reserves and writes one FAT where Windows on the PC reserves and writes two. You can't get something from nothing and WinMo non-quick format leaves nothing in the data space. (And yes I do understand full mil spec data destruction and redundent and random erase so everything is destroyed.)

Well i may be wrong but as far as i was aware, when you put a linux android build on your SDcard it creates a partition or something like that on the card, (i will look it up and get back to you) and windows cannot see it, wheras linux can see it and therefore it can wipe it, and these left over bits that windows cant see dont always get on when you get a new build Thanks for pointing it out though, just wanna help as many as possible ^^
Thanks

To be honest i think that if you got yourself a Shubcraft build and then followed the guide then you would end up with a pretty stable build, with no freezing, but if you dont like the theme, then i guess that there is nothing i can do, but hope that a sense version of it is relesed so that you can get yourself a nice stable build ;D
Thanks again.

@friedsushi definitely agree with you it isn't clarified correctly about different radios affecting the android or that hspl is necessary for it to work. I am constantly getting people pming me to ask for a walkthrough, which on most occasions I have been able to get this working even though my wordage is more simplified in layman's terms-his looks like its been copy/pasted from all over these pages which in effect isn't a bad thing but to call it a guide and not including vital information is a bit haphazard IMO.
& to the op I am not flaming you but there are already guides out there & don't particularly need another unfinished version to add to the numerous threads which have only just been cleaned up by the mods, plus with only 11 posts 8 of which are on here I honestly don't see much experience to be able to give people guides

I dont get it ? not one word of this was copied and pasted from someone else, and this is just the process i went through to get it to work perfectly, i didnt include the parts about the HardSPL and the radio because, i tryed a few different radios and it made no difference to me AND you wouldn't be able to flash or follow these instructions if you didnt know what hard SPL was. Again i am not flaming but i was just providing a set of instructions that i did, to get it working. So its not a unfinished guide, just because it didnt include some realy basic information. Sorry if i did not make this 100% noob friendly, was just trying to get a few more phones running stable ^^
Dane.
No one discussed any where about the below scenarios.
If booting to android, Phone reboots.
If already in booted and trying to make a call or check email again booted.Always getting booten in android randomly after trying various builds.
Anyone has answer for thatt?
Thanks
