need someone from australia, victoria to unbrick my phone! - myTouch 3G, Magic General

hi i live in melbourne, victoria and i recently bricked my phone.
im having trouble unbricking it and i thought someone
who lives in melbourne would know how to unbrick it.
anyone know someone or place that can unbrick my phone?
i'm getting desperate

Same thing happen to me today.. Sigh, you have tired all the normal steps..? (I live in Brisbane, emailed a few phone repair shops today)
Can you get in to fastboot or recovery mode?

umm yeh i can get into fastboot and recover mode. i've been looking around and i can't seem to do anything to unbrick it.

If you can get into fastboot & recovery mode, then relax, your phone is not bricked.

Follow guide in here to determine mainboard version & methods to revive & root your phone with fastboot
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Sapphire_Hacking

Yeah, if you can get to fastboot you're alright. What bootloader version do you have? Do you have fastboot installed on your computer? Do you want to put a rooted rom on or official HTC firmware?
I'm from melbourne though

sorry im a noob i dont know what a boot loader is. i do have fastboot installed though.

Fastboot is the bootloader, also referred to as the SPL (secondary program loader). What version is your fastboot? For example, mine is HBOOT-1.33.2010.

well is says: HBOOT-1.44.0004 (SAPP10000).

[Q] Help! Possibly Bricked or bad internal memory

I am looking for guidance this time.....I have a Nexus s I9020 (t mobile version) and a couple weeks ago I don't know what happened really but i may have been messing around with a newer version of clockwork recovery late one night .... then the phone wouldn't boot past the google screen and I couldn't do anything to fix it... I tried to figure things out the next day and this is a list of things i have figured out...
1. in clockwork it can't mount anything....like anything at all pertaining to the internal memory/storage
2. I was tired and irresponsible
3. I tried fastboot just about everything
4. I tried flashing newer/older versions of clock work......nothing worked
5. I have tried downloading and installing roms via adb and fastboot but an error message comes up...
6. now this I know is retarded but make fun of me as you will... I fastboot locked the device......i know stupid because now when I type in fastboot oem unlock it hangs and does nothing after I check unlock on the phone...
I can get into fastboot mode and it says no boot or recovery img?
now if I had access to the internal memory I would def. be able to go back to stock but there in lies the problem what on earth can i do to make this thing a paper weight?
this is what i'm talking about, the bootloader doesn't unlock it just hangs .... any thoughts?

551ML stuck on fastboot after stupid action, 'fastboot wipe cache' doesn't work.....

Noob so sorry for the stupid mistake.
Have a 551ML, on bliss w/ TWRP and was supposedly rooted already(can't remember which method I used, but the start screen was white background/black words). Have been using the phone for a year without issue.
One day some kind of stupid just came over me, and I followed this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/unlock-zenfone2-android-6-0-beta-unlock-t3411264
without even sure what was I suppose to be doing...(not blaming OP, I am the dumba** here)
everything went through just like suggested, but now the phone start screen shows un-rooted(black background, white words), and the phone is stuck on fastboot... Can't get into recovery or normal boot.
Can anyone advise what am I suppose to do now? I am thinking I need to unbrick the device using this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-brick-soft-hard-bricked-zenfone-2-t3284256
But I am stuck at:
1.2 Connect with computer IntelSoc Zenfone 2:
Can't seems to get the computer to register my 551ML as a 'MOOREFIELD device'?
Can anybody gives me some pointers or maybe there are some easier way for my situation?
p.s. here are the fastboot info, in case it might help:
HW_VERSION - UNKNOWN
IFWI VERSION - 0094.0183
SERIAL NUMBER - 0123456789ABCDEF
SIGNING - ?
SECURE_BOOT - ?
continue the fastboot process
Thx in advance!

flash boot image
then flash recovery image
then any rom you want
Thank you for replying so quickly!!
Can you be more specific on how to 'flash boot image'? I have tried to put the asus OTA image on the SD card, but it didn't triggered....
small update:
I have extracted boot image(boot.img) from ASUS Z00A firmware, and download the correct twrp recovery(twrp.img), and tried the following commands:
fastboot -w
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot erase cache
and the result is still the same. Only able to reboot to bootloader no matter what, with the 'continue the fastboot process'.
Can anybody share some thought? really miss using my Z00A......:crying:

Thank you so much!! The ASUS Flash tool works, and I have my Z00DA back to life!
For people with similar issue and want to use the tool, please noted that it takes a while(~15 min for the flash) + the tools does not shows any progress %, and afterward it will takes another 10 mins for the phone to start, so be very patient.....

Bricked A2017G

Hey Folks, i just bricked My Axon 7 some Days ago. It started randomly a reboot which i can't abort anymore. Everytime the Device get's a Charge does it start again. I can't enter TWRP or Fastboot (Reboots after a few Seconds). Same for the Flash Mode. It is now completely discharged and i don't know how to recover it. Any Ideas?
Think i can't fix this, but asking here don't hurts...
4th grade unbrick guide here in the Forums. That helped me after i cannot access any Mode. No Flash Mode, No EDL, No USB, No Qualcomm Loader. Axon 7 too.

Lol. I made a guide based on that one but updated, called DFU unbrick, because everybody had to read my comments there anyways to be able to do it. Not sure why everyone still uses the old one ?
@Miustone: If you want, you can try an EDL cable first. A lot of people say that they could get out of DFU that way. (assuming that you can get into EDL/DFU that is). Google my guide, it's called "DFU unbrick", if the EDL cable doesn't work
Thanks Guys! I will take a look on the DFU unbrick and the EDL Cable. At least a blink of Hope for this great Device... Still good as new, would be sad to use it just as a golden Sculpture lol

Hey, sorry for asking but how did you brick it? I am thinking about installing a custom ROM, rooting etc and I would just like to know if it was something in specific so I can stay away from it. Cheers.

Unfortunately I don't think so if you can't get into fastboot. Can you go through what steps you did to end up where you are?

I don't know where to start

At this point I kinda forgot what I did. To explain what's going on.
XT1962-1_RIVER_RETUS_9.0_PPOS29.114-134-2_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml
I am certain this is the correct image. I wasn't flashing that image onto the phone when I did it. (I think? I don't know. I've been wandering in circles)
It loads up into fastboot (thank god) but instead of having the option on the right side like it did with my g5 and g3 they're in the middle and Recovery Mode, Factory, BP Tools, Restart Bootloader are all red. When I attempt to start the phone the bootloader log says failed to initialize partition table and no boot image found. Skip to fastboot.
There's also a "Start up Failed. Your device didn't start up successfully. Use the software repair assistant on computer to repair tour device. Connect your device to your computer to get the software repair assistant.
I don't know whats going on anymore. Please help me.
If your bootloader is unlocked.
Get into fastboot and follow these instructions.

I don't think my bootloader is unlocked. In fact I don't even think I have a bootloader.
Its asking for the verizon software tool and its fastboot looks very different. I am so confused
Have you tried restoring your phone with Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant?
