I googled it and found a vid on youtube!
Not sure if it's fake...
It's been outed as fake on a few threads that link a "how to" video on youtube.
People have been running it on their phones and reported that it appears to do nothing. Basically, it doesn't run android, but they don't know what it's done. I suspect something unpleasant.

i was searching youtube today for a how to on installing android on the HD2 and came across this. http://alltechdownloads.blogspot.com/
Now the catch to this site is that to download you must do a survey to get the download portal to be open i am not sure if its a ploy to get us to do the survey, but i have attached the file that i have gotten after doing the survey.
Pre-req:
1:HD2 must have HSPL
2ownload Microsoft Farmework
3:Install using the Android installer.

I have tried it many times many different ways and i havent been able to get it work.

That is because negative comments are quickly deleted. I will not believe Android has been ported to the hd2 until I read apout it here on Xda. Further why is everyone so uppity to have Android on their hd2 anyway? I agree it would be pretty cool but it will not be functional enough for daily use. If you want Android, get an Android phone. Rant over.
Jesuz Christ .............. how many threads are you going to make about this fake ass ****. Do you believe everything you see on the web? I'm sure I can point you to a few pages that say things are real when their not and are more then happy to load a virus or steal your info.
soklean, there's already several other threads here where that has been discussed, and determined to be definitely fake.
Your first clue should be that the instructions say that HSPL is needed; android ports don't run that way, they use HaRET to load it without even having to shut down winmo first.

Come on guys Watch the cursing please.
They are right. This has been covered many times already. Please do a search before opening a new thread. If you cant find what your looking for about your HTC device here, then it is most likely not true.
This may be a silly question to the programmers here, but the evo 4g is similar to the HD2, why isn't it possible to take the evo's rom and flash it to the hd2?
I've also seen a bunch of sites and youtube vids claiming they have it working properly, but I'd trust your word over theirs that it's not here yet.
not all the hardware is same, only snapdragon chipset.

Do a Google search, you will see no one has it working 'properly'. The EVO 4 is absolutely nothing like the HD2 which is why Android isn't fully working yet. Read about it here.
Please don't post questions like these without first Googling or searching the forum If you searched 'Android for HD2' in this forums search function you would find the main discussion thread in the top five links.
i dont know if i can link a youtube account or not as it may be against the rules but if u serch for " jrinco11 " in youtube, you will see alot of great reviews in HQ. Now i'm sure that many of you already knows about this channel but this info is for those that dont know .

This again? Its apps and launchers, and most of it is paid not free. Look around for similar titled thread to this, "what's this and where can I get it" or something similar, there's a link to a tutorial on how to do it.

IM WELL AWARE of what & where to post,but it doesn't tell u anything on youtube,so when i search..........i'll type......X in 1 forum then Z in another...........it's hard to look for something when u dnt know exactly what it is,and even more so,it's for my m8 lol,im more than happy with my hd2 lol,just thought some ppl on ere would have a better idea than me and give me a DETAILED description and not jus another same old same old link or search this & that...........OBVIOUSLY YOUR NOT 1 OF THOSE PEOPLE..........

I had it and used it for a week or two. It is awesome, but I missed Sense widgets too much in the end so I came back. I paid for most of the Apps (one of the few times I splurged, but I thought for the sake of £10 it was worth the experiment) and it was so close to great - but I can't get away from Sense's looks and integration.

Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Did you search? Did you read? Did you do anything anyone above the age of 3 would logically do in this situation? You've posted an over posted question without searching for an answer (see this guide), with the stupidest possible thread title (thanks for telling us that you have an HD2 by the way, wouldn't have guessed seeing as you're in the HD2 FORUMS).
All I can really say is watch this video.
