So I was just wondering if anybody knew of good web browsers that had Flash support?
I've been using Skyfire and I'm loving how fast pages load and the homepage customization, just wondering if there were other browsers to pick from.
opera 10 beta has flash that works on some sites and a browser called uzard web
theirs really nothing out there better than skyfire in terms of flash having flash opera it just slows down your phone and crashes the browser in my case. Im not too in with skyfire but to watch videos it does the job. I really hate the fact adobe dropped the flash 10.1 for windows mobile it was already half done.
I tried Flash on Opera 9.7, but the results were awful - scrolling was impossible, and the lag... terrible.
On the other hand I quite like the Flash in IE. You can actually play some flash games with very little crashing - Dicewars .

yesterday i downloaded a skyfire version for my brother's n95.the only thing i have to say is tha is by far the best browser i have seen.i tried opening pages that i couldn't open before with the old browser because of the missing plugin and it worked.
here is the prog's description.
"Skyfire is a free, downloadable mobile browser that gives you a web browsing experience exactly like PC browsing. For the first time ever, on your phone, you can watch any video, connect with friends, listen to music, shop, and browse the web using the full-featured PC versions of your favorite websites. With Skyfire, mobile browsing just works - speedy page loads, full video, images and audio.
The search feature is awesome.

Hey guys,
Just wondering if there's a flash player for the opera in the stock rhodium ROM?
Cheers`
Hi, no there is no flash support in Opera. In the new beta 9.7 Opera there is a flash lite support. But unfortune most websites such as cnn.com etc use flash10 or worse Silverlight, so have to wait a few more years till you can watch these :S
However, there is a youtube application in stock witch works good. Also there is a mobile browser named SkyFire that plays flash. I dont like it but it shows flash, so..
bye
Skyfire supports flash. You can watch flashmovies on any website you would like.
Hello,

Skyfire is similar to Opera Mini in that it uses a proxy to do the rendering. However, it plays flash, so websites look like they are supposed to.
It's free, so try it out.
Why don't you try this? It works for me.

It used to be possible to play them in Internet Explorer, but I've a feeling the BBC may have changed the format recently. I don't think they'll play in Opera Mobile 10, either, even though that does have some flash support. Your best bet is probably to use Skyfire.
They work in IE just fine for me, even the watch live streams for bbc2 ,3 etc work the only videos that dont work for me on the BBC site are the Live bbc 1 stream and iPlayer which show green and garbled stuff
Opera has never worked on the bbc videos for me at least, always moans about no javascript enabled or wrong version of flash
just tried to use IE and when I click a video IE crashes and closes. very anoying.....
Try, http://get.skyfire.com/.
thanks, i have used skyfire and it works ok but seems v slow compared to opera. I was trying to see if its possible just to have one browser that does everything! I guess not. It's very annoying and the only thing that really niggles me about the HD2. You'd think browsing would be the thing they'd really want to sort but no..... we still have to use 2 or 3 browsers depending on what we want to do. A bit of a joke really......
I hope some clever bod here can somehow get flash 10 to work on the HD2 seeing as it now seems that Adobe aren't!! I wonder if I could sue adobe? You spend £300+ on a handset as they say the HD2 will be the first WM device to support flash10 then a few weeks after I splash out they announce that they are no longer doing so!!! ggggrrrrrr

Lol I use Opera 9.7 for everyday browsing and I have Skyfire, Opera 10 and IE installed for 'backup browsing'!
I was looking for a browser that did a good job with flash video now that I'm on twa's latest jellybean build and Google is abandoning flash with jellybean (TURDS!). Of course you need Flashplayer plugin installed and you can't download it from the Play Store (so get it somewhere else). Stock browser works ok (gets a little unstable). Tried Maxthon, Dolphin, Opera, Chrome, Firefox, Skyfire, and Boat Browser. Boat Browser works flawlessly (except status bar toggle leaves a video shadow). It is a nice fullscreen enabled browser. Fullscreen and stability was what I was primarily looking for. Flash worked on some other browsers I tried but fullscreen either caused freezing, system instability, or didn't work at all. Give it a try. Hope it works well for you. Gotta love your kindle's big screen. Say no to browsers that rob screen space.

Thanks for this. I also noticed that flash player was buggy on the stock browser on JB. Dolphin was slightly better. I'll try your suggestion
I haven't found an apk for flash that works yet. Has anyone else or for dolphin version 8.x or higher or the AOSP browser?
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
There are all versions for 4.0 at that link, I don't use AOSP or dolphin on my Note 3 but .81 the newest works fine with Firefox on mine

Nope. With the latest flash version (11.1.115.81), in desktop mode, the stock browser doesn't play videos at all for me either. In mobile browser mode, youtube videos will play, but not directly in the browser. An external player takes over ( with no option to choose).
Same scenario, but with Dolphin Mini, videos play directly in the browser each time.
Using Hulu, the stock browser and Dolphin Mini both play video clips within the browser window while in mobile mode. It seems to be a made for mobile browsing kind of video player. As soon as switch to desktop mode, both fail to play any videos. The stock browser complains that Adobe flash player isn't installed, while Dolphin Mini receives a system not supported message.
As far as flash content goes (games, ads, banners, etc), the stock browser isn't having any of it (mobile or desktop). It just won't display it.
Dolphin Mini handles banners and advertisements pretty well in both modes. I was also able to get this game to load beyond the play button screen quite a few times, but it crashed right after tapping start on every attempt.
I don't really know what the best methods are to test flash, but from what I'm seeing, we may be SOL for the time being.
Have you guys checked out the latest version of Maxthon browser?
I HATED this browser when i tried it years ago, but they totally re-wrote it and its pretty amazing!
plays flash beautifully as well,
