there's no tv-out on the jade (htc HD does).
so only possibility I know so far is myMobiler, which can connect via WLAN (as long as both devices are in the same segment). you can than output your PC/notebook's screen to a beamer.

you need extra software like "mymobiler" to get the htc jade screen to a PC. there's no other way.
so it will not support your wifi projector.

Is it possible to have av-out on my wm5 device?
I have an mini usb with on the other end a red and a yellow plug.

rebelish, that is just not going to work. I mean that is not a PC usb port. First its a mini-usb, second its not got all the WinXP functions which enable it to be so.
What might be a solution is to have a SD Socket AV-out (haven't seen any), or even try it through wifi... There is a program (forgot the name) which transfers the picture to the PC through wifi, but probably does not work for video.

A.) most PDA USB ports are slave, meaning normal addons will not work on them
B.) there are indeed SDIO cards that provide a VGA/AV output
The only pda I've seen with video out is the Dell x51v. I'm guessing it's a fair custom job, using more than just a mini-usb cable.

I do think it's a shame that we don't have that function already in our pocketpc's but than again we can't have it all.
I think i'am going for the bluetooth pal adaptor now because with that one can do the job wireless and i can show my 2Mega pixel pics on my tv screen.

I would like to have IRDA connection on my Ameo.
First, I want to make a USB device running on my Ameo.
I've simple bought an USB-IRDA Adapter:

But the Ameo told me, after I connect it over the USB Host Adapter:
He need the name for this new device; I could insert whatever I want, but nothing help's.
Is there a way to
- make running an USB-IRDA-Adapter (with modifying the known device-driver, maybe) or
- activate IRDA over a Bluetooth-Bridge or
- activate IRDA over the headphone-connector or
- activate IRDA over the special-HTC-Adapter, or or or...
whatever, please help to bring back the IRDA connection to the Ameo / HTC X7500 / X7501.
It will cost anything; no matter; I'm not a business man, but I will provide a little bit ( and I think the other also) so that will be not for free.
I need IRDA on my advantage too.

you could try throwing it at the tv and see if you can hit the button.
But seriously no cant think of any other way. but even if there was a way to control an ir dongle, you would still have all the problems of making sure it was pointed at the tv, and you could see the athena screen at the same time. my 4 in 1 cable usb port points to the bottom.

ad hoc, im having a lot of trouble establishing this connection.
im my case i have a thoshiba portable l300, and a imate jamin g3, can´t establish conection ad hoc . is that possible to make ????
Also the final chalenge would be... to find a good tv streaming software and make it work via ad hoc, this way it would be possible to watch tv channels in the wireless range. i have wm6 pro rom instaled and my media player always assumes htc prophet touch, on streaming, and gives a response error, like not possible to streem.

There is any possibility to use my htc p3600 for a power point presentation, connecting directly to a video projector which has also wifi? I could connect to the video projector throw wifi with my pda but I couldn't find any software to transfer the images. I'm looking for this from 4 days and nothing.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you know if it's possible to hook up to a networked projector and if so, how?
It has it's own ip address but do I have to install the software which if course would not be compatible with android.
The other thing is that the projector is hanging from the ceiling so hooking up an hdmi cable is out of the question.

Option for your projector
I use a HP hdmi to vga adapter (about $30 US) for powerpoint presentations and it works great. If your network projector has vga input, that is a pretty easy way to go with no software to install.
thanks for the reply, but as I said the projector is up at the ceiling. I would need a long cord for it. We have it on the network to make it easier to hook up to.
I don't think it would be possible this way but I figured I would ask.
