Hi guys
I have re-downloaded the ROM, and also tried flashing with a completely different one, one Sense based the other generic android 2.1 based... That one freezes on the 4 colour pyrotechnics nexus splash screen.
Any ideas how to get around this?
Thanks
Mark
UPDATE:
It seems that I CAN restore to a nanbackup and get back to Sense, but without my settings intact. As soon as I try to flash to ANY rom again, it will still freeze at quietly brilliant or the nexus 4 colour splash.
Ive tired an SD repair, wiped everything I could wipe using the bootloader menu... so why all of a sudden this, I have often flashed with no problem in the past.
Tx
Mark.
yeah dat happens to mine now iv had to revert back to the stock android 1.5, im still rotted tho... its disappointing
Same here, tried the Villain Mod, freezes on this screen.
Attempting to restore now...
Alright, so I've had my Nexus 7 for a couple of months now and I really am enjoying it. I flashed some roms, bought some apps and all the other good stuff. Anyway I flashed the MinCo ROM a couple of weeks ago and I realized I've been having trouble with rotation.
Playing racing games is impossible as the car turns right the whole time which lead me to believe that it was an accelerometer problem... But it didn't happen on the stock rom so I tried flashing a CM nightly I had that I knew worked.
After factory reset and flashing it and GAPPS I rebooted only to get an endless boot animation. I left it on all night thinking it was the dalvik being reconstructed to no avail.
Woke up this morning and I cannot even get into recovery mode! What is going on?

Flash back to stock through wugsfresh toolkit
I hopped on IRC and the fellas there helped me out. That is what I ended up doing anyway. I still don't know what caused all this trouble though....
I've had my defy for quite some time now with no special issues.
Flashed quarx CM10 several months ago and worked great for a long time but now it stays stuck on the CM logo and doesn't boot.
No problem getting into bootloader but doesn't go into recovery mode. Tried pressing down button and then powered up my phone but nothing.
The one thing that might be relevant is this happened after installing "bluetooth file transfer", enabling bluetooth (normally off on my defy) and transfering several google apps to another phone. Worked fine for a day or so and then just wouldn't boot.
Anyone have any suggestions?
If you can access custom recovery then backup your data and reflash ROM. If not start from sbf.

Hey,
I am using the AllianceRom with safestrap, AllianceRom installed on stock rom slot. Recently, my phone would suddenly reboot while I am using it, making a call etc, then get stuck in a boot loop until I pulled out the battery, then sometimes it would start up well or get back in a loop.
What I have tried,
- Installing ROM to romslot1.
- Flashing stock verizon rom, phone worked normally for a while, I tried to get back to AllianceRom or RootDeOdex_NCG rom, but no reboots started again after like 2 happy hours.
Leaving phone alone for like 2 hours powered off, then when i turn it on, it works, for like a few hours, then bootloops...
Ideas?

Are you using WIFI? I had bootloops after updating to NI2 whenever I would connect to WIFI. Wiped caches didn't work, had to revert back to a backup ROM

Well yeah, I'd use WIFI after installing the rom to install my apps, and everything would go well, I'd even install apps and use the phone for a while. Then sudden boot loops.
Update: Just installed stock rom, and even re-partitioned using the
Code:

PIT file. It boot looped afterwards, then like 2 minutes later, it run, phone is working, holding breath.

No I'm on stock ROM, just noting that I had the same problem and how I fixed it
So far:
only had one surprise reboot. Which I'm thinking is not so bad.
I am on stock verizon still, can't do a wireless hotspot. feel caged! Noticed I cannot send sms unless I use a third party SMS application, might be due to the fact that i'm not on verizon but I'm using Hello SMS (it rocks) so eff it.
- I rooted so I could get rid of the annoying "Sim card from unknown source" message, by uninstalling Setup Wizard. and restored some of my apps with Titanium.
Waiting till Sunday, if all goes well, I will install safestrap and it's back to customRom goodness...
Thanks guys for the help.
Hi Everyone
So i have had my s7 edge ages now had a few roms on it such as helios rom, batman rom and superman rom never had any issues about a month ago it froze when i was using it and when it rebooted it just froze on the Samsung logo.
I messed about with it for a day or 2 and managed to get it to boot in the end by formating the data through TWRP and then i used Odin to flash the stock firmware, then i put TWRP back on and was enjoying the use of custom roms again.
Yesterday my phone froze again when i was using it and then froze when it was rebooting and i have been doing different things since to try and get it going again i have tried using Odin to flash the stock rom i have tried putting TWRP back on and flashing different custom roms i have tried formatting the data again, And now with stock firmware on it after freezing at different points during the boot process for half an hour and rebooting its just got to the start screen :/
Sound like a hardware problem

I managed to get to the home secreen and start the first stock update but its so strange the update installs it freezes on boot and reboots like 50 times and finally comes back on then does the same with the next update.
Im currently still in a boot loop after installing stock update 2 so that sucks lol
So after several days of flashing stock fimwares etc I managed to find what was meant to be the official 7.0 firmware for the g935f so I installed that with odin and it booted fine now I have put TWRP and Helios Rom back on it and it seems fine
I am so confused lol
