Outlook, Hotmail, and Activesync Help

I'm using Outlook 7 and have installed outlook connector so that I could read/send emails from my hotmail account in Outlook. I wanted to use it as the my email in my HD but I'm having problem getting it to sync with Activesync 4.5.
After I add the hotmail account, the activesync does not work. I keep on getting cannot connect and try again later message. It sync ok when I delete the hotmail account.
Is there anyway that I could set up hotmail account in outlook and sync it to my HD?
Thanks for the help.

Syncing Question

Hi fellas,
I got a quick question - I'm currently syncing my x1 to my work microsoft exchange server, syncing up everything but contacts (as I don't want my personal contacts on the work servers).
Is it possible to also sync my outlook from my home computer (for personal contacts) and keep my work microsoft exchange synced up as well?
Thank you.
Cheers.
I sync my x1 with both my vista laptop and my desktop xp that works fine
I sync my PC and then I lose my microsoft exchange sync. So I don't think it is possible.

yup, either myphone, or Googlesync which you can use Activesync to sync against ur google mail.
Myphone can sync with Outlook?
Bump! Help.
Gmail can be used as a free exchange server, but for now, only to activesync Contacts and Calendars. Email is sync'd normally anyway - but the mail is not emulated as a proper "exchange" server, just IMAP (IIRC). That's still a good start though. I imagine email will follow soon though, now that they're permitting enterprises to sync email through exchange.
Haven't tried MyPhone yet though. Is that full exchange/activesync?

gmail + exchange activesync

Hello all. I have my phone connected to gmail through activesync. I also want to have email access to my work's exchange server. I have not found an easy way to get email from both accounts but only sync contacts from google. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank You. )

You cannot connect 2 Exchange (Gmail also acting as Exchanger Server) server from Windows Mobile via Activesync, but you can setup Gmail as IMAP then you can connect to your Work Exchange Server. But Contact & Calendar information only sync with your Work Exchange.
I disagree, you can have 2 exchange servers with a registry tweak. However as specified above you cannot sync two email accounts, but you can sync contacts, calendars and tasks.
If i am honest its not an idea solution, but it does work. It sounds like the solution above works the same but has the benefit of better sense integration. At the moment i have my work exchange server linked in sense and active sync for contacts, calendar and email. My gmail is linked in two places, the first one activesync which covers the calendar and contacts, but i also link the email via imap via sense. This works well too but its a little awkward trying to edit email settings.
