Does anyone know of a way to create a quick link direct to individual email accounts rather than the account picker? I'd idealy like to have seperate outlook and hotmail links form the home screen. Any suggestions greatly appreaciated. Thanks

When I use pocket explorer to check and send email using my web-based email accounts such as yahoo or gmail, the button to attach files to the messages doesn't appear when I create email messages.
Is this a natural problem of pocket IE? Is there any way to attach files to messages using web-based email and pocket IE?
most likely this has to do with how much PIE supports scripts/java and other things. I'm not so informed of exactly what the problem is, but suffice it to say that it is not supported in PIE. You might want to try netfront.
sorry, you can use a webmail like gmail which supports pop3 and then you can simply load those settings onto the Magician and work from there, that's what I do and it's far more convenient. If you don't have a gmail account and want one, PM me your email address and I'll invite you.
aha, thanks for the info Xilicon! Thanks for the offer as well. I have a gmail account already, but I haven't set it up for pop3 yet. I'll do that soon as I can. Thanks again!
This one is for all the gurus here.
Austin recently granted me access to his very famous port88.org direct push email service.
I was wondering if it was possible to have multiple Direct Push Email accounts.
Active Sync seems to have room for only one Exchange server. What if I have 2 exchange servers to get email from?
Another problem is while replying back to emails from multiple accounts that all get forwarded to one email address just like port88.org.... how do you manage to have multiple email aliases to make it appear like the email came from the respective email address?
Hmmm... doesn't look like there is an answer to this one. I've been looking around for something relating to the problem above, but I can't seem to find anything.
Please, if anybody here knows anything about this, any help would be highly appreciated.
TIA
i dont know the answer, but would be interested in the answer to that
Hi everyone,
This is my first post!
I have a quick question regarding the email tab in touchflo 3d.
I've successfully set up google mail and hotmail accounts in windows mob 6.1 and the email accounts are displaying correctly in touchflo. However, I need to access my work emails from time to time and the only way of me doing this is via webmail that they have set up. I've set up a favourite within Opera and can browse and log into this without any issues but It would be great if the link to the webamil could be contained within the "mail" tab in touchflo.
Is there any way of doing this?
Many thanks,
Darren

unless you can get pop3 or imap access i dont think this is possible, have you tried going through the new email account wizard and filling in details there ?
Can I sync all the emails I have 'attached' to outlook to my HD2 without having a whole bunch of different email inboxes for each email inbox on my phone? (I think I'm even a little confused with that sentence :s)
I use a personal gmail account and a seperate work account, both through outlook on the computer. Each having the same inbox is pretty nice. I was wondering if it was possible for the hd2 to 'send/receive' in the same email inbox for these two different emails? I'd like to use direct push and receive everything constantly, as promptness is my preference. Can I do it similarly to how I have it set up on the PC?
I gave this a quick look and didn't see a similar thread anywhere, and I hope this made sense. Please let me know what I can do to accomplish this.
Thanks in advance.
You could create a new gmail account, and then link your phone to that account. Forward all messages from both the work exchange account and current gmail account to that new account. Voila!
Otherwise, it's pretty impossible to get 2 push mail accounts into one account on the phone.
Is it possible to have more than 1 Hotmail account in the mail section?
I have now an outlook and a hotmail account in my phone! but cant add more hotmail accounts?
What im i doing wrong?
this is already covered elsewhere, but heres how. (tip 43 on hints and tips thread)
when you go to new account, choose type "other" and when you input your email address, put @notmail.com (anything really, just not hotmail)
configure the rest of the settings as normal, using the pop3.live.com details then when complete edit the settings and change your email address back to @hotmail.
Thanks For the tips
And sorry for missing the Hints and tips section
Now it works
