Deleted text messages - XPERIA X10 General

Anyone know of how to retrieve deleted messages on the Xperia X10
I'm pretty sure text messages are saved on the phone rather than the sim (ruling out any sim retrieval programs you can buy on the net) but I may be wrong.
My best friend is having problems with her daughter getting mixed up with the 'wrong' people if you know what I mean. She wants to check the messages sent and deleted on her daughters phone. (she's tried talking to her etc but to no avail so is getting desperate) She's not very techy at all and can only switch on and make a call on a mobile. Not that I'm claiming to be much of a tech myself.
Anyway she asked me if I could help....
I can't seem to find any way of storing sent messages like on other phones so that's that idea gone, just wondered if anyone had any ideas or advice.....
Regarding the messages..... ??
Thanks x

Social services me thinks

Hmmmmm Social Services is about as much help as............... but thanks for the advice.
I'm guessing nobody can help then?
Thanks anyway x

Whats this SMS message mean

Dear Group, i've only had the quickest of looks at my new Wizard cos its a xmas prezzy lol. Anyways, just to check it works i put my SIM from my mobile fone into it and sent myself a SMS message. Sure enough it worked, only a message popped up saying that it was full and i need to delete some messages (or words to that effect)
But from where? I find it a wee bit confusing to tell the truth. On my mobile i can save about 20 texts to the SIM and 200 to the phone memory, can i do the same thing with my Wizard?
The SIM that i put in has texts saved to it, but how would i access them in the Wizard.
And, while i hopefully have your attention, is there anyway to save texts from different contacts into different folders? And even better, is there a way to filter them out automagically?
All help gratefully received

SMS Flash sender for earnin free credit

Hi! does anyone knows where I can find an applications that send a large amount of SMS preferably flash SMS (the one that appear and delete them self)? I need it because I got free SMS on T-Mobile and I have WePay on H3G so each SMS I receive I earn 2p. So if I send 500 SMS I make £10. I painfully done it manually but and it is working!!! any help? thank you
Any one knows??? I'm still looking thanks
I would be surprised if anyone here is going to help you find a way to spam SMS messages for cash.
Hi, not sure if this will help, but take a look at this.

i use to use the motorola version on my v3. It was good at spamming, not intentionally ofcourse. After sending 1 sms I left my phone attached to the computer. upon returning to the comp i found that it had sent the sms over and over and over and so forth.
to Doom Tints:
My aim it's not spamming but gain some free credit!!! what's wrong with that? I'm not breaking the law nether the network rules... please read here http://www.three.co.uk/news/h3gnews...llcid=1019745742912&cid=1137675159353&index=1
I got free messages that I never use on my T-Mobile phone. This could also be useful to others in this community too... Don't you think?

Thank you for that but I Don't like motorola phones and their applications! I have found a freeware for nokia symbian phones that would do the job... but before I buy one I would like to use my wizard or my hermes to do the job...

Voice Mail App?

Hi All,
I don't know if this as been posted before, i couldn't find it if it was.
I'm looking for an app which will take voice mail and record it right on the phone when i miss a call. I've seen it for S60 phones but never for WinMo. I've been looking for almost a year off and on but have never found anything near what i want. If anyone has seen it send me the name please, it would be a great time saver.

Grandcentral?
I don't know if you'd be interested in all that it entails but check out http://www.grandcentral.com as a possible solution. It's not exactly what you're after but may work out for you....
Hey, thanks for the link. I think i may have found what i'm looking for! I have not tested or installed this yet, i'm at work. I'll be installing it over dinner and putting it to the test. Heres the link:

I've been using Callwave: http://www.callwave.com/landing/mobileVisualVoicemail.aspx?r=NONE
Again, it's not exactly what you said, but you can set it to send you and email with attachment which you can save to your phone.
I was using SimulScribe/SimulSays, but their customer service is atrocious. So bad that at one point the CEO emailed me to apologize for how I was treated after reading the email exchanges only to ignore my response email asking if my lost voicemails could be recovered. I guess the answer was no.
The other nice thing about Callwave is that it will transcribe your voicemail (good for reading messages while you're in meetings). I don't know if that's free longterm however.
i'll be interested to hear how the isecretary worked out...
HI,
I haven't had a chance to really test it out yet, I've been super busy. I did test it when i first downloaded it and i think it may have deleted all of my contact #'s. Not sure it was the program or something i did as messing with my phone seems to be my new habit. At present i can record a message from an incoming call but i'm having trouble getting the greeting to play. Adjusting the settings may be all thats needed but i don't have the time to do it yet. If i get it under control i'll post what i did to get it to work.

My friend who has T-Mobile tried and he didnt get it either... We called up T-Mobile and we could not understand a word the guy said ... It was incredibly unhelpful.. Anyways I need some help lol.. Sprint is not really any help either.. I emailed them and I will see what they say
My whole account cant receive the text either..
Thanks for any help.. I usually can get stuff worked out on my phones but this time I am stumped..
Thanks again
u have to explain in more detail what you tried to do.

Disabling Text Messaging

Does anyone know of a way to disable text messaging on the XV 6800? I dont use the feature and I get a ton of spam messages for some reason...Thanks in advance.
JK24
Anyone??? Even a registry setting to disable it woule be helpful...

Somebody has to have some sort of fix for me...I am tired of getting spam text messages...Not sure how they got my phone number...I didnt sign up for anything and never give my phone number out except to family and co workers...Somebody please help!!!
The only thing I can think of is to call Verizon and ask them to disable SMS messaging for sometime at least. See if they can block the numbers the spam comming from. Last resort is change your number. Providers are not very helpful when it comes to cell phone spam.
You don't want to really disable texts for good do you? That kinda defeats the purpose of the titan. How will you receive links and such from 411's and friends and links for programs? Man when I like to update things like google maps, skyfire, live search I go online and they send me the link immediately. Spam is going to happen whatever number you have. I think if you don't want texts you should sell your mobile, I have some old phones lying around that dont do texts.
Give this app a look see. It may be worth your while.
