Hi,
can you post the source code?
I would like to see if i can add the arrows to ( jonasl - forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416 ) version as i really like the skins I have made.
Works well in the MCR r3.1.
I dont really need it as I also use the trackpad but I find that the arrows to make it more accurate when shifting between individual letters.
Good job
Does this work on 2.2 Roms

I'd like to second this one, this is lovely and the arrows alone are a great sell for me. But since it need root access (I don't want to root my desire yet) and also it appears that it does not work on Froyo, jonasl's keyboard mod is the one I'm stuck with for the time being.
Nevertheless, thanks for bringing this to the community.
Has there been any update to the HTC_IME (with arrows) keyboard for the HD2 running froyo? I'm starting to work with various terminals and it would be so nice to have some arrows so I can use my history. Thanks.
I saw that the DesireHD has IME w/Arrows. Probs easier to port from that?

I understand that the IME w/arrows is actually closed-source. I have asked gimpsta about it while using his online IME kitchen (http://www.gimpsta.com/themer/) and his reply mentioned that as it was closed source, he wasn't able to do much in the ways of editing it

What are these?
Stock Lock
-Modifies your lock screen to re-enable the stock android lock screen.
-This INCLUDES the "disable menu button" fix (so you can't unlock with the menu button).
-This will REMOVE the current glass/puzzle lock screen, to restore glass, put your old android.policy.odex back!
Circle Battery Indicators
-This changes the battery indicator to a different theme.
-See Fightspit's thread for screenshots: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724778
-Your background will default to the Cognition background since that's which APK I started from. (just change it)
Removed links since they've been down forever. I have no intention of continuing doing these mods for individual ROMs any longer. Way too many ROMs out there! If you want battery mods, the procedure is pretty simple. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724778 for more info.

Guys,
Looks like the folks at the Modaco Advent Vega tablet forum are also using the VeganTab version of the ROM for our Gtablets. Would any of the ROMs on their rom download page also work on our Gtablets?

Anyone know if any of these Vega roms would work on the gtablet without modifications? Looks like they're also using the Vegan rom that the developers here made for the Gtablet.

I just tried Big Ideas ROM in our Gpad...It works but its all in chinese, have to set language to english and wifi is broken. Other than that everything seems to be fine. Had to build a boot.img though coz the included boot.img wont work.
UPDATE:
Figured out how to change language from Chinese to ENglish and did a wifi patch. Everything is functional so far. Will do further testing and might release Big Ideas ROM for our GPAD. BTW, its pretty snappy
This Big Ideas Rom dont even need a market fix.
Have been using the the Big-ideas variations since 1202 on my Zpad. Have had no issues with wifi, lag and market. What I did was NVFlash Big Ideas ROM then made a GAPPS update with update.script to delete all Chinese apps then pushed the Google apps. This has been working out quite well.
I guess what Rothnic proposed about using Big-ideas as a base then add Vegan stuffs is heading in the right direction.
Rom 1.06.05 (VEGA) is the base foundation for VEGAn beta 4/5, FYI. A lot of this is intermingled.
I do like that link, as they seem to update it frequently.
I love the file explorer in Big Ideas rom. Does anyone know what app that is?

That's where my idea comes in. I want to make a Custom ROM based off of SENSE DDX FR008.
Now, I know some of what to do....so I need help.
This will probably be an idea for a long time unless I get some help.

If you can put the cm6 features into it that would be sick. I like cm6 's customization ie. Status bar color options. And also love the transparent pull down from that gingerbread add on. What would you take from the sense rom?
Banging cm7-night's 14
@brswattt, definately worth a custom ROM/Theme. i have been thinking the same thing, maybe some sort of Hybrid based on another phone such as Droid.
tilt4life2 point out a kick-a$$ ROM. love the lockscreen
im slowly learning app creation, and as time allows im looking into system changes. for me i would like a custom ROM which allows the user to re-assign any key function for custom actions(keymapping)... there's probably a program somewhere that does this already
Like THIS one
good luck bro, if i stumble accross any cool things we can add to a custom build i'll keep you in mind.
Thanks for the support guys! I'll look into it when I get home.

The system.img (at least) won't dump with unyaffs. This is usually caused by incorrectly copying it from the partition with dd.

The marvel_dump.zip has the /system image already expanded. The system.img in the original file has a blocksize of 2048, so you have to use a parameter to get unyaffs to extract it.

RusMod 1.19.
Added:
CBW kernel and some build.prop changes.
This is mod for russian users(was so.. unitl now)
Now i wish to give it to you.
About it:
Well, i can copy page from Khal's rom and say - it all there.
If we get something here, that gets to RusMod.
It's fully stock(i hope so, cause we have so many changes... =))
How to install it:
If your rom based on Dexter rom than there is a chance that you will only need
wipe cache and dalvik-cache.
If not - you should wipe all data.
After restoring rom from nandroid apply patch, because russian version of settings.apk and phone.apk have some changes for russian users.
Well, that's all.. i think =)

As long as the framework-res folder structure matches Moize7Ae's MM patch it should work. You could also try ZipThemer.

Afaik there is some program with name metamorth.. it's changes phone theme...
Metamorph works "live" on the phone & when it themes framework-res it will reboot the phone & with owq's morph I think you have to run through MM a second time to get the white clock color. ZipThemer takes the morph & builds an update.zip (& an undo.zip for when things go wrong). So you create the update.zip (I use HTC Edify Generic update script setting) make sure it is in the openrecovery/updates folder, boot into OC & apply the update.

Hello fjfalcon,
Can you please tell us what are the advantages of this rom over stock 2.1 or miui?
Will it increase free RAM, rom space, snappiness ? Any disadvantages over the stock roms? Is the haptic feedback as strong as the original stock rom?
Hi first I know this is in the wrong place but I have only joined a few months ago so currently can't post in the developer forum so if someone can move this there it would be ace.
All thanks for this rom go to the Cyanogenmod team and the Leaf rom team, this is a sort of combination of the two to get sense and Android 2.3.3
This is the first release so could be a bit buggy, so please either comment on here or message me so these can be fixed! However it is based on two stable roms so shouldn't have too many problems
I am not responsible if you brick your device by flashing this, you flash this at your own risk.
This is signed so you can flash through any custom recovery
Once again big thanks to the Cyanogenmod team as it is mainly based on Cyanogenmod 7.0.3
Enjoy!

That's great! Do you have any screenshots? and perhaps more specs? like CPU Overclock capability's, SuperUser etc...? Does it support fully landscape support, so also the Rosie APK (launcher)? And do you need to flash Google Apps?

Yeah! Screenshots would be nice!
But if it is based on CM7 there are SuperUser and the other CM7-specific preferences like overclocking...

Hi sorry screenshots will be up soon and it has all the features of CM 7.03 so if you look on their website it will tell you all of the overclocking etc.
It has elements of Rosie sense at the moment I think the launcher is ADW but i shall fix this to the Rosie launcher in the next version as I think there is a package conflict there at the moment as to which launcher the system uses
Great job, dude!! I really would like this rom if Rosie can fully landscape the homescreen... I'm looking forward for your update. Hope it wil be very soon

Yeh it is fully rooted with superuser and overclocking again specifics like the amount of overclocking will have to be answered by CM website and the CM version used is the stable 7.03
